The proximity to Metro and Champs de Elysees, convenient distance from restaurants and shops. Walking distance from the Eifel Tower. Very beautifully decorated space, home away from home feel. Serviced and daily cleaned. Private with excellent utilities. The staff was fantastic and helpful. We couldn’t find booking to the Opera tour but the manager (Marissa) went out of her way to find us the bookings and have our tickets ready. She really welcomed us and made us feel at home. There was no rush to check out either. We’ll definitely be booking this place again!

Gym was overtaken by an exhibition. Would be nice if it was an exercise space only

Stunning flat with plenty of room and extras to make our stay easy and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, especially with our many questions/needs. They found a place to keep our rented bikes safe, they helped us at every turn.

Nothing could have made this stay better. Although it is good to note that early morning cabs/ubers can be hard to find. Luckily we left a good amount of wiggle room and it did not impact our airport arrival time. Make sure to schedule transport back to the airport before hand if during high traffic times.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I couldn’t leave without sharing how amazing our experience at Black Door was — especially because of the front desk and concierge team. From the second we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. You can tell they love what they do. They helped us with everything — from great local recommendations to little things like remembering our names, offering us coffee, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. It honestly felt more like staying with friends than at a hotel.

Clean, comfortable and spacious accommodations that was perfect for two people. We loved the decor and the cleanliness of the apartment. We had a view of the inner courtyard. The apartment complex was nice and quiet. Linens and amenities were high quality. There was a beautiful pool and spa on the premises. An added bonus was the maid service who cleaned our place every day and even did our dishes- better than an Airbnb! It was nice having a concierge and security at night. Location was great too- close to the metro, shops, restaurants, etc. It’s one of the best accommodations we’ve stayed at. We highly recommend the Black Door!

Nothing. Maybe having Netflix would be nice so that we had something to watch in English. But we didn’t really watch any TV. Too much to see and do in Paris!

The location is wonderful, all the amenities in the room are great. Definitely would stay again

The carpet in the bedroom was quite dirty and the stain on the curtain did not do the room any justice. Besides that all was good.

The space was a good size and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

I wish they had some salt & pepper in the kitchen. Just basic condiments so I don't have to go out and buy and use for only one time. Also, the hole where you stick your finger in to pull open the bathroom door has a sharp metal which punctured my finger. It bled - a drop fell on the bed cover, but housekeeping didn't change it the next day.

Cleanliness, spaciousness and security

Staff and team was very helpful and cheerful. Location was great. Rooms were spacious and had good natural light. The team also helped in arranging a bouquet and a bottle of champaign for my wife's birthday. the spa area was very well done and soothing after a long day of walks in the city.

Our room had some issues in the 1st 2 days, with respect to air conditioning and water pressure. The team shifted us to an alternate room and everything was great after that. Cost for the room i think was bit on higher side.

The location was amazing, a quiet street full of restaurants and the very private quality of the property! It was spotless clean and every single person from the staff was extremely kind and helpful, especially Emma who helped me a lot with a few important things. The room was very spacious and had all the amenities! I look forward to go back there. Thank you for a lovely stay!

There was nothing i didn’t like

I had a fantastic experience along with my family, staying at Black Door Paris. The property is beautifully maintained, well-located, and offers a comfortable, high-end feel that made our stay truly memorable. A special shoutout to Emma, the concierge, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We also loved the unique gym setup, and big shoutout here to Herve for his warm hospitality and helpful advices!
