Near to metro M8 , only 5 minutes away. Many cheap restaurants and stores around with many different styles of food ( Arabic, Japanese, Algerian, Turkish... ) Hotel is clean, bed is comfortable, heater is good , bathroom are clean. Reception is open 24 hours. Great value for the money. They allowed us to come to room earlier then scheduled. We stayed there 5 days and it was great.

The location is a sort of far if you are catching the train with luggage.

when checking in to the hotel the guy was quite slow at giving me a room card. Giving back the room card to the front desk was annoying. Having a soap holder without soap on it and the cleaner put a clean towel on the shower floor when it was wet.

The hotel is very close to metro station (5 minutes walk) and there a lot of nice wine bars, restaurants and - of course - bakeries. The area is one of these where you could feel 100% the real Paris and have a good time. Color Design Hotel is very clean with a nice air condition in the room and the staff is very helpful.

It would be very helpful if there would be a mini bar in the room and if the smart tv would work as a smart tv (ours didn't)

Excellent location for this colourful boutique hotel. Staff were very welcoming on our arrival. Room was a decent size and clean. Wi-Fi was excellent throughout the hotel and TV had plenty of channels. Staff were helpful, even advised that the train we needed would not be running due to a maintenance schedule. I couldn't find a fault with the hotel.

There was nothing to dislike apart from the €15 charge for breakfast. The cost persuaded us to go out for breakfast and there are plenty of places nearby. Who knows- we might have missed out on the best breakfast in Paris...

The room was clean, spacious, and the bed was comfortable and quiet. Close to metro station and a calm neighborhood. We had a supermarket 1min away.

The toilet seat was broken, and some of the plug did not work, but overall, for one night it was OK.

Good sized room, massive and comfy queen sized bed! was a good night sleep, and good value for money especially when so practical to la gare de lyon!

The decor is a little "cold" and this minimal approach means there is literally no comfort other than bed and tv in the room. The room is missing a kettle or coffee machine, and the set-up of the room where I stayed was separate from the rest of the building, so the other guests made noise coming and going in and out smashing the door.

It is a simple and comfortable hotel.

The only thing was the reception wasn’t as decorated as it is advertised.

Only stayed for one night, hotel location chosen for ease of transfer to train station for continuation of journey. Only meet one member of staff, who was friendly and helpful. Good value for money - if visiting Paris for a visit of a few days would consider staying at this hotel, as transport links into other areas of the city are really easy.

Not central location for the main popular sight seeing areas of Paris.

Great and friendly staff, nice breakfast, close to train station. Nice cool rooms with everything you expect. No hassle check-in or check-out.

All good for this price level. Only very small downside: no celluar or wifi in the cellar (breakfast room). So if you're a digital news reader (like me) at breakfast, download or read it before going. Room needs some small fixes.

Clean, comfortable and close to the station to Lyon. Good restaurants around.
