It was amazing, the area was perfect for us - Student area le marais everything reachable by walking distance. Direkt Metro (9) to the Eiffel tower. The staff super friendly and helpful. Everyday new water bottles for free.

Lovely little hotel, whose proprietors are delightful. My room was small but perfectly comfortable, with a good bed, plentiful hot water and very effective air-conditioning - all the basics covered. Good breakfast, too, if you want it. Excellent value for not very much money, in a cool neighbourhood.

Nothing. If you're overly nervous you might find the walk from the Métro stop a bit edgy at night - this is still an area that's 'up and coming' and there's a touch of urban dereliction to deal with - but I was out at all hours and never felt unsafe, and there are several busy bars along the street, as well as some very trendy restaurants, so you'll be fine.

The room was clean and comfortable and although smaller than we're used to, I expect this is fairly standard for Paris and we had all we needed. The hotel is well situated for several Metro lines, and it was a nice walk down into the Bastille district with plenty of bars, restaurants, and atmosphere. The Italian restaurant, Origini, attached to the hotel serve great food and the bar 'La Belle Equipe' across the road was always lively and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing, though option for tea in the room would be good as my wife doesn't drink coffee and there was only a Nespresso machine.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was pretty generous for 12euro pp, with fresh pastries and baguettes from the boulangerie across the road. Great coffee, selection of juices, yoghurt, cereals - better than most continental breakfasts! Rooms were small (usual for Paris) but clean and comfortable, with juliet balcony and airconditioning. Soundproofing was excellent - though on the first floor and along a bus route, there is little to no noise when the windows are closed. Bastille is our preferred location, less touristy, with nice cafes just a short walk away. Short walk to metro line. Try Pause Cafe and Bistro du Peintre a short walk away - for sipping champagne and watching people.

Small but clean room with cute bathroom, comfy bed. I was grateful of the aircon which was very much needed as it was above 30 degrees. coffee machine (although I would prefer a kettle but they had one you could use in reception in the breakfast area). In a nice quiet area about 20 mins on a bus from Gard du Nord and 20 mins walk from Le Marais Plenty of bars and restaurants on every corner Paris has such good transport, its 2.50 euros to get the bus and you can use your ticket again with-in the hour or get the Navigo travel card but make sure you load money for both buses and metro (im not 100% how this is done as I only managed to load cash on it for the metro). Lovely lady on reception, really helped me plan my day, thank you. Paris really is the best city, have fun!

Great staff, really friendly. Great location, so easy to get to transport, so easy to get to all of the tourist sites via the metro or metro and a bus. Lots of little restaurants and shops in the local area and very easy to walk to cafes and restaurants in the nearby suburbs. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very comfortable, although a little small. The restaurant was fantastic, food was delicious and the staff (especially the Italian waitress) are a credit to the business - such a fantastic and friendly team.

Our first room was great, a little on the small side but comfortable and clean and a lovely view onto the busy neighbourhood and local cafes and restaurants. Our 2nd room was a little tighter, and space could have been optimised with better planning of the furniture. It was a tight squeeze to the bathroom. There was a noise from the AC unit, possibly a pump emptying the water, this turned on and off every min or two while the AC is on and is irritating when trying to sleep. There were a few broken hooks in the bathroom and there was dust on the shelves inside the room. Nothing that really bothered us and we throughly enjoyed our stay, but worth noting and fixing.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Paris. The bathroom was spacious and clean, which made our mornings much more comfortable. A convenient 24-hour reception making check-in easy and hassle-free. We also appreciated the neighborhood — it felt safe and quiet, yet conveniently close to local shops and cafes. Overall, it was a lovely and relaxing place to come back to after exploring the city. Would definitely recommend!

One downside was that although the booking stated that taxes and fees were included, we were asked to pay city taxes again at check-in. This was a bit frustrating and unexpected. It would be better if the online information were updated to reflect this clearly or if no additional fees were charged upon arrival.

The front desk was very welcoming and there was always someone available if you needed help. The wifi was free and easy to log on to. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location was fantastic - a five minute walk from two metro stations - with plenty of lively restaurants, shops and cafes nearby. You could walk to Bastille and the Marais and there's a lovely patisserie at the end of the road. We had pastries from there every morning, so I can't speak to the breakfast.

The room is small and basic but we were out exploring the city the whole time, so that suited us perfectly. It's no-frills but comfortable and friendly. There isn't much space to put a suitcase, so pack light.

The location was perfect. It's a three-minute walk from the Metro. There are cafes, a pharmacie, and other intriguing places to explore nearby. If you're out late or just want an afternoon snack, I highly recommend Tweedy's. It's a rotisserie chicken place just three doors down from the hotel. I walked back from Pere Lachaise cemetery, and it was a pleasant, enjoyable stroll. Definitely, explore the area.

These things happen, but we had a fire alarm go off at three am on my first night. I was so jet lagged that I almost slept through it! But it was orderly, and they had it turned off quickly so we could all go back to bed. The room was small, as expected.

Very clean rooms, floor to ceiling windows with Parisian street views. Clean bathroom and shower. Luggage room available, staff very friendly and keen to help. Good English spoken by all staff, which was useful as my French is appalling.

Had agreed an early check in between 10-11 but unfortunately the room wasn't ready until past 1pm. The luggage room helped with this though. Despite upgrading to Queen rooms, the rooms are very small. You would get more space in a chain hotel standard room. However, this is more of a boutique hotel room, so maybe not a fair comparison.
