Really nice property, it’s a good location for people who want to be a little further from the typical touristy hotspots. Within a short walk of a few different metro lines. The area feels very safe if you are out late at night.

Only issue is that there was no A/C. Not a huge deal as you can open windows and use a fan, but it was probably about 78°F/ 25°C in the room the whole stay (mid July).

I see lot’s of negative comments based on the lack of facilities,small rooma etc. This simply baffels me since I really don’t know what do people expect for this price. You are not going to get George the Vth for 50€ a night per person. Anyways value for money is amazing,location is percect ( well connected,not too far from the centre and not too close so you can relax a bit after the day of exploring ) , rooms although a bit too small were clean and decent.

I could rant forewer about the lack of facilities, staff which is not going to act like you are part of the family,small rooms etc but for this price range I don’t really see the point.

Good location. Lovely local shops and restaurants, plus metro stations in close walking distance to get anywhere around Paris.

We booked a ‘basic double room with shower’ for an affordable rate compared to other Parisian hotels. Given this, we were not surprised that it was a small room but the bathroom space was so small, it was difficult to use.

We stayed overnight en route from Italy to the UK. The hotel was conveniently located between Gare du Nord and Gare de Lyon (on the bus routes). The room was small but had a comfortable double bed and an ensuite. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was OK (continental breakfast only... nothing cooked).

It had some quirks: the stairs and stairwell were painted very darkly so if you used them it was a strange experience. And the lift was tiny too. There was akettle in the room but it was not cordless so you had to unplug it to take it to the bathroom to fill it. A d no complimentary coffee or teabags came with the kettle...

This was my first time in a Parisien hotel, and it gave me a wonderful, authentic feeling as if I were living in Paris. Even though I spent just one night on my journey back to the hotel after an evening in the city, I heard myself say that I, when I get back home, meaning the hotel. Truly loved the experience, and I look forward to returning for a linger period of time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, allowing me to leave my bag prior to checking in while I explored the city and also provided me with places to go for a Paris experience and making me feel like extremely welcome. Great hotel!

During the morning, I could hear the people in the other rooms getting ready to leave for the day, which woke me up. And I forgot to mention to the staff that the shower, even with the door closed, leaked a lot of water on the floor.

Perfect location..Just a few stops on the metro from Gare du Nord...Got off at Voltaire and a short walk to the hotel...3 nights Asked for early check in as we were on the first Eurostar out from London ..Not a problem and no charge..Hotel staff were friendly..Used the little French I know and made the effort.Double.room was spot on..Had clean sheets a bath plenty of towels and tea and coffee facilities and a fan...Room was tidied twice and we were only there 3 nights..What more do you want ? Who spends time in their room in Paris..? Didn't have breakfast in the hotel but went to a café down the avenue..The cafe de Peintre for croissants and coffee...Few minutes right out of the hotel and up the hill you're at the Pere de Lachaise....Left the key at reception on the way out...Always someone on reception....Why people think this is a problem I don't understand....Would stay again....Metro Ledru-Rollin a few minutes left out of the hotel...A trip to Versailles a night at Moulin Rouge and walks along the River Seine. Glorious sunshine..Perfect..

Room was nice and clean, area around was good for an after dinner cafe experience.

I had booked for two nights but was told i only have one night and therefore suffered a loss of over 200 Euros to find alternative, more expensive accomodation for the next night. Very unhappy about that experience. Then, the place I booked for the next night through booking.com, also told me they don't have accomodation and put me in yet another place which was not as good as the place I had booked, though they offerred me a free drink.

We were very late arriving. Midnight . We called from the train to explain the delay and the hotel receptionist could not have been kinder. He said it was not a problem and gave us a very warm welcome when we eventually got there.

The room was very small but we did not pay a lot of money for this room and the location was brilliant.

Good location, 15 minutes by walk until the public transport (Metro); Animated position, with a lot of restaurants around, coffee shops; Cleaning in the room everyday; The staff was ok;

Even if the reservation was with a higher price because I choose the option: free cancellation, few days before the check-in some money were blocked. And this thing was not specified initially, because I had the option free cancellation and for this it was necessary to pay more by booking without block the money for one night. BUT GOOD POINT: We received at the check-in the money back.

The location (when we found it!) is an interesting one with buses and metro taking you elsewhere. We had 2 stays. The first room (top floor) was perfect but on the second stay we were right beside the lift (noisey) on the first floor and the room was not so nice. The bathroom door did not close properly.

Fix that bathroom door! And it would be nice if you were a returning visitor that you were recognised and given a better room.
