Location was excellent; just a few minutes away from Voltaire metro station, with easy access to central Paris and all the tourist attractions. The immediate neighbourhood has plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The room was basic but comfortable and I slept well. Overall I had a really great stay and would visit again! Merci beaucoup!

I arrived in Paris in the middle of a heatwave, and found the room quite hot, both during the day and night, as there's no A/C. I brought my own handheld air fan with me so managed ok, but maybe it would be worthwhile getting fans for the rooms?

The room is not the typical hotels I've been to when traveling to modern hotels and that's exactly what gave this visit such a charm. I felt like I fully experienced Paris and definetly thanks to the amazing staff. At any time I felt like I was cared for and it was always such as relief to talk with the genuine people behind the desk, the experience was truly 10/10

The hotelroom got a bit cramped when living together with my brother, but it worked perfectly for the days I stayed and it has been a big part of the memory I now have of Paris, I loved it.

This hotel is in an interesting and lively part of Paris, a little way away from the obvious tourist attractions but very convenient for the Gare de Lyon and (via metro) for the Gare du Nord - and the hotel itself is in a quiet side street. There are excellent choices of restaurant nearby, including one specialising in the cuisine of south western France ("Chez Papa"). By Paris standards this is excellent value for money for anyone wanting a simple and convenient, no-frills, base for an overnight stay or for a longer visit.

There isn't really a lounge area but for my purposes that isn't an issue.

Great stay! It was amazing, we absolutely loved our time at Hotel Anya. The area and location was amazing, with great bars and restaurants all around and the metro right down the block. The staff was the best part, they were so accommodating and kind. They always made sure we had what we needed. The room was clean and had all the necessities. The bathrooms are funny, but we were there for the adventure. I was truly so pleasantly surprised, the pictures don’t do the rooms justice—if you want a cheap stay in Paris that is safe and clean, you got it here

Thin walls! Bring ear plugs. And yes, the spiral staircase and hallways are narrow, so be ready for that with luggage.

The hotel is really well located for the Metro and buses. There are shops and restaurants close by, including a well stocked pharmacist which offers both traditional and homeopathic options. Everything essential worked well, the hot water, internet, toilet and the bed sheets were beautifully crisp and clean. Great reading light on the bedhead.

For elderly visitors it is worth noting that this is an old building with a steep spiral staircase and, there is no elevator which would be difficult to install. There is no restaurant and breakfast is not included. A kettle in the room for making hot drinks would be a major plus.

The staff was very nice, our airplane was delayed, but they have waited us. The metro station was very close, so we could reach many sights quickly. The neighborhood is good, there are shops, bakeries, restaurants. We got cleaning every day, they made the bed, took the trash out and put new soap and shower gel if we run out of them.

We have missed a fridge (they did not offer but it would very useful). The bathroom is small - although we counted on it because of the the comments. It is really true: you can take a shower, wash your teeth and use the toilet at the same time :D And it is a little bit noisy, we could not sleep with open window. All in all this is a really good accommodation for sleep and starts from here the trips.

The location was perfect. We went walking everywhere and there is really good bus and metro connections nearby. We wanted to see Paris in 3 days so we only wanted a clean place to sleep and rest. Hotel Anya is a cozy small family hotel. Serik and Mustaffa were the greatest, they were so friendly, helpful and sweet with us. Serik also speaks really good Spanisch! Mil gracias!

There was no kettle in the room but Mustaffa the recepcionist prepared us tea one night. It was so nice. There are also coffee shops in the near so is also not a problem.

The staff at the hotel is super friendly ❤️. The area is quiet and has a tremendous amount of dining options within walking distance, all within a 3-5 minute walk. The supermarket is nearby. And what's most important is that the Voltaire metro station is just around the corner. The room was nice and clean. Additional pillows were available in the wardrobe. About the WIFI - don't know. Didn't use but it's available.

The only thing I was lacking was a shower curtain. Every time you go to the shower the whole bathroom is wet.

Lots of stairs and no lift. Was fine but we had lots of bags (so not hotels issue). Lady on reception was super friendly and helpful. Room was as expected and they supplied some shower gel which was good. We were on the second floor (I think) but could hear snoring rather loudly from the next room. All in all - well worth the money 👍🏼 we wish them the best

As above - we were on suite but the snoring from a neighbour room was heard. I’m sorry we didn’t raise this with the property (at was fab otherwise).

The location was great. The hosts were amazing. We asked for an early check-in and the lady that was our host did everything to make us comfortable. We were so tired and very happy that the room was already available. On the last day we asked if we could leave our baggage after checking out so we could explore the city a little bit more. That was also no problem. Great price. Room was basic but had everything we needed. We were on the 3th floor, could be an mobility issue if you cant walk the stairs but for us it was no problem
