I booked this hotel because of the location, the price and that breakfast was included in the price. We are very satisfied and would love to come back. The breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable. I read other guests' comments but was surprised that we have such different ideas of how a simple hotel should be compared to a four or five star hotel. I recommend this hotel to those who want a simple and good hotel. Those of you who are used to staying in five and four star hotels will probably disagree with me 🙂

The only negative I can say is that the carpet is old and dirty but everything else I was happy with.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great location, accessible to transport, and they take care of the property. American traveling solo in Europe for the first time, felt like a safe location.

It’s an older property that’s well-maintained. Particularly Americans have to adjust their size expectations to European sensibilities, but everything from the breakfast to the room was charming and well-appointed.

Lovely continental breakfast with plenty to eat . Rooms were small but perfect for our needs , ( who spends time in the room when on holiday ) . Staff very friendly as spoke good English . We had a late flight back and they allowed us to store our luggage while we went sightseeing . Will definitely use this hotel again . Very close to two metro stations .

There was only one pressing iron available for guests. So when there are multiple requests for a pressing iron, it wouldn't be available because someone has taken it to their room. I suggest that the hotel has an ironing room where anyone who wants to iron can go into, and hence this service is made available to every guest who needs it. Secondly, it will be helpful if the reception makes tourist guests aware of tours that are available and that can be booked from the convenience of the hotel. Not all tourists have pre-packaged plans before arrival into Paris.

The room was in a very good condition and a great part of thr city. The bed was nice and big. The notion (of other reviews) that the construction next door would be too loud wasn't really true for us, the noise wasn't a problem at all.

The walls were very thin and we were able to hear almost every sound coming off the other rooms next to us. The shower was quite small, but still comfortable.

Pretty good location, many metro stations and bus stops in walking distance, also pretty close to many bars and restaurants. Nearby supermarkets and bakeries were convenient. 24h reception was a plus.

The location was the best point for the price. The hotel looks a bit dated but staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of shops really close, lovely boulangerie and supermarkets open early and closing late. "Rue des Boulets" underground really close.

Could hear next door clients in the morning but not really a problem as we were going out early as well. But for people who wants to have a late sleep, could be an issue.

The hotel staff were polite and friendly. The hotel is next to a metro which is perfect for travelling around Paris. The rooms were welcoming and comfortable for our 4 night stay. We would definitely stay here again without a doubt!!

The only thing I didn't like was that the metro didnt run to station rue de boulet late so we had to walk late at night back to hotel from another metro station.

The location is good, lots of nearby restaurants. The bed is comfy.

The hotel should provide an electrical kettle and slippers.
