Very quiet and comfortable. I liked the ethics of the place and the genuine kindness of the people who work there.

It’s a bit off the beaten path and a trek from the Gare du Nord if you have luggage. It could be a bit less expensive, perhaps…

The king Size Bed. Impecable sheets and towels. Excellent breakfast . And most importantly very kind and professional treatment from Mati and Nina. We took the bus # 76 to come and go every day from Eden Lodge to the interesting sites of Paris. Unfortunately the frequency was very low and we had to wait a bit too much..but the outstanding attitude of all French people we encountered compensated the transportation issue. We absolutely love France for it’s people food and charm.

I personally don’t love cats inside the house because of the odor they bring in. I would only have them outside.

Eden Lodge is less of a hotel and more like a guest house. The room was a great size for Paris and great value, clean and very well appointed and comfortable. There is a communal kitchen downstairs that is equipped with everything, so a family in particular might make great use of that. There's a little supermarche nearby and boulongerie across the street. It is a little oasis in a big city but every asy to get into the center from right outside the door - NO 76 Bus will take you to Bastille and the Marais. There are lots of great restaurants and wine bars along the street a little further down from the hotel on Rue Charonne.

The hotel is little outside the main areas of Paris if you are a first time visitor or unfamiliar with the city. If you are a confident traveller, it is just fine and you can use NO 76 bus. It was very hot when we were there 36 degrees and no air conditioning. They supplied 2 room fans and it worked quite well. A top sheet on the bed instead of a duvet would have been nice. Staff are a little aloof but we managed ok in the end.

We had a fabulous host and the office lady was very helpful. The eco credentials and organic breakfast and selection of foodwas great. We were staying for our 40th anniversary and couldn't have hoped for a better stay. Not a criticism of the lodge but it was a very long walk to cental Paris although the location was lovely and we found some excellent vegetarian and vegan restaurants. The metro stations were close and easy to use.

A kettle wirh tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be nice.

The ambiance here is unlike any in Paris. Located inside a complex it's further away from the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood. There's a ton of greenery and nature vibes. Plenty of natural light in the lobby and upstairs patio area. The room itself is huge with a ginormous jacuzzi like tub. AC kept the room cool and the bidet was a great add on. Despite the aesthetic still a real homey B&B type experience. Tatiana and staff was wonderful.

I loved everything about Eden Lodge. The atmosphere in a hidden backyard garden in the middle of 11. Arrondissement. The ecological approach. The wonderfully designed room. The wonderful employees, the ladies were caring and amazing! Loved the communal kitchen, the cats, the silence at night. I stayed for 4 nights and I would have loved to stay a lot longer because Eden Lodge feels like a home away from home.

After you enter the outside door, you enter a different world. A little garden, guides our way into the lodge, it looks like fairy tail during the night with small lights guiding our way. The place is so cosy and the atmosphere is so zen, that you start to relax as soon as you enter the garden. We were greated by Nina, a sweetheart that called us to make sure everything was alright after we didn't show up at the scheduled time (we lost our 1st flight), just great. In the morning, we were greated by Maty, she treated us with such a good vibe, that filled up our energy supply for the rest of the day. The breakfast was fantastic, she was doing a fruit salad when we walked in, delicious by the way,we had tea, coffee, orange juice,pan au Chocolat, croissant, fruit salad and cake, cannot remember the cake name,but it was warm and tasty. There was several types of cheese and ham. So, don't skip breakfast 😁. Location: I choose this hotel for 2 main reasons,the concept (cozy lodge), and the location, it's not the prettiest on the outside,but it's so near the metro, with a full day ticket you can reach almost any place in Paris in less than 40 minutes and do your full visit. Extra: The bathroom, full japonese toilet and the bathtub, it's gigantic, with great water pressure. Summary: After the full tour of Paris, it's great to came back to this little paradise. To leave it, really, I'm at a crappy hotel near Disney missing my little Eden.

Its uniqueness and the fact that it is eco conscious. I liked the interior - the choice of the furnitures and the building material The atmosphere is modern, yet warm and welcoming. The courtyard patio has a little Camino leading to the hotel with greenery that are also featured from inside of the hotel. It is like behind teleported outside the city when the door gate closes.

Can’t thing of anything not to like

Incredible little hideaway in Paris and so well located. There’s a Market on Saturdays directly at the metro station, which is 3 min walk away, and it is amazing. The hotel is very charming, Quiet, cosy and clean- it feels like you’re in a cabin in the forest. Pearl (or Perle) was very sweet and helpful and also gave us some croissants in the morning, although we didn’t book the breakfast (which is all organic! And really stunning). We would definitely come back!

Lovely secluded spot, peaceful and calm, large comfortable room and fantastic breakfast. Staff were wonderful and made us feel at home.

Very expensive, even for Paris (though during the Olympics so that could have impacted it). Area is not that great and did not feel super safe at night, though lodge itself felt secure once inside. If car is higher than 1.8m (eg if you have a roof box as we did), you have to park it quite a long way away and it's quite expensive.
