Decent restaurants and bars near by I stayed here for 3 nights, Its just 2 mins walk from Major metro station "Nation" where it connects Metro and RER. People complained about internet but when we data plans on phones why we need internet as we get in hotel to just rest for night. Yes the place is little noisy at night as there 2 bars just down the hotel. As these are older building, the window sealing is not sound proof but this is for people who are silent sleeper. For me its good as it felt like a happening area and you are on vacation. Note: you need to take steps if the room is in top floor, if you have lots of luggage just watch out.

Restroom being little small, Me being 5,4 and weigh 160lbs/74kgs, wished the restroom would be few cms bigger, but that's how it is in most of Paris city. Other than that no complains.

The outside of the hotel is lovely and well looked after, as is the reception area. The staff are friendly. The room was small but just right for two people who want to explore the city, so it was the ideal base just to shower and sleep at night! Although no air-con, there was a large fan and with that and the open window it was more than cool enough to sleep comfortably (even on 6th floor when it had been 30 degrees during the day)! The room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The area is so quiet, as is the hotel. Although the bathroom was very small, it was absolutely fine, make sure to check the shower curtain is all the way closed as the floor can get a little wet. The location next to the Nation metro station is great, just 45 mins from Orly airport, 20 mins from things such as the Louvre and notre-dame and about 40 mins from the Eiffel tower.

nothing. But, if you don't like climbing steep flights of stairs, try to request a room on a lower floor as no elevator, but that's just Paris!!

This is a convenient hotel right by the Place de la Nation (metro, train, etc.) and a nice walk from the centre. We only stayed one night. The room was fine - silent, clean, with a comfortable bed and a quite large bathroom for Paris' standards. It had windows on both the main and back streets. All was clean and convenient. The AC worked fine, and the personnel was very friendly and helpful.

The room would improve with some coffee/tea facilities (even if just a kettle). The amenities are practically inexistent. And as mentioned in other reviews, the building has no elevator / lift; we were on the 4th floor and it was fine for us, but it could be a problem for someone with mobility issues or heavy baggage to carry upstairs. But for the price, and in high season, it was fine - I would recommend.

Very good location - close to a RER line and 4 metro lines - one can go to most major attractions (Notre Dame, Louvre, Arc de Triumphe, Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, La Defense) without switching lines and in order to come to/from Charles de Gaulle airport one needs to just change at Chatelet-Les Halles without changing the platform. Clean room. Early check-in - I came straight from the airport and could get to the room already just before 1pm.

Small bathroom. No elevator (not a big problem when one is on 2nd floor, but there are 6 floors).

The location was amazing and so central with the station only a moment away. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were nicely kept. I was a solo female traveller and I felt really safe staying here :) would definitely stay again

The only criticism I have is that my room was located on the 6th floor with no lift, but that’s common in Paris and I am able bodied so it wasn’t a problem for me :) This is also stated on their website so I was expecting it but if you struggle with lots of stairs maybe request a room on a lower floor

-not the cleanest towels -shower seemed to have one temperature stand, it was hot, but after a hot night I fancied a lukewarm shower... Not a problem if you only like very hot showers -no AC, while on the street side it's not adviced to open the window because the street is noisy

I really liked the room, as it was pretty clean and comfortable. The people are nice here, too. And the place that I was living in was pretty safe.

Yeah.. it's a bit hard to get on the 6th floor without a lift, but it's ok. Also, while the air conditioner was working properly in the room, I still would have liked it to be a bit colder, because it's sooo hot in August.

It is a 2 star hotel. Room was small but clean. Nation is location with 4 metro lines, not too far from centre of Paris. Excellent boulangerie, supermarket, Printemps, pharmacy, shopping just around corner.

It is in a busy road, with lots of noise and light. Walls not brick, noise from loud guests at various hours can be annoying. There is no lift in a 6 story building. No WiFi.

The location is amazing. You have a metro station (Nation) in just 3 min walking distance. And it’s very clean and peaceful. Good restaurants nearby. You have a small mini mart to buy snacks and drinks and all right outside the property entrance which is very convenient. Overall i loved the stay. Will come back for sure. ☺️

Beautiful little hotel in a great location right next to the Metro line at place de la nation. Thoroughly clean room which is serviced everyday. Beds are very comfortable, and I loved the pillows! Small but clean bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. Hairdryer also included. The windows you could either tilt open or open them like French doors to let in the breeze on a hot day. Staff are very helpful and friendly.  The only thing to be aware of is that there is no lift in the hotel if you have issues with mobility. We were on the first floor so it wasn’t a problem for us, however, I wouldn’t have fancy climbing the stairs to the top floor after a long day walking in Paris! Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for a budget stay in a great location in Paris. I definitely think it deserves three stars rather than the two it has been awarded.

my only suggestion (not so much a complaint) is that the room did get hot at night and maybe Aircon would be a good idea. But otherwise no complaints at all.
