Location, rooms, terrace

The staff was closing the entry to rooftop terrace in the evening although the people was still there, so people could no longer get it but the people that were already there could stay. During my stay 2 out of 4 showers in the bathroom were out of use.

Very well maintained, good air conditioning and clean. Beautiful views from room and rooftop terrace is an absolute gem, views are gorgeous! Even tho the restaurant is often very busy there’s always space reserved for hostel guests. Staff in restaurant was amazing, they went beyond any expectations for helping me when I got injured during my trip, they were always welcoming and kind. It also surprised me that hostel guests where allowed to eat their own foods in restaurant, staff provided even cutlery’s with a smile 🫶

Only thing that could be better was the showers, they are very small and air conditioning isn’t good enough when there’s multiple ppl at the same time, if you are bigger you will struggle doing your things there.

My second time there, and probably I will come back. Amazing location 1 minute from metro station Nation, really easy to find. The view from roof top is magnificent. Good bed, clean rooms. Nice team on reception, always smile and ready to help

For towel you pay 4 euro extra. Cleaning lady come to apartment at 10:30 ( check-aut at 11:00) and was unhappy that we still there. Then at 10:55 was turned off electricity. Capucino at bar 6 euro, glass of Vine 7-12 euro, the view are amazing a specially at sunset, but it’s hostel, not luxury hotel or top of tour efel

I stayed here for four nights and was genuinely very satisfied with the experience. It's not one of those super lively, party-style hostels instead, it's calm, respectful, and comfortable. Perfect if you're looking for a good night's sleep and a relaxed vibe. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness. Almost every time I went to the bathroom, I found it being cleaned. It was honestly impressive and everything was sparkling clean. So if hygiene is a concern for you, rest assured, this place does a great job. Other than that, everything was lovely. The rooftop terrace, although technically for the restaurant guests, is also accessible to hostel visitors. They treated us really well up there, even when we weren’t ordering anything. I spent hours at a table with a stunning view during sunset. I think it was one of the highlights of my stay. Special thanks to the cheerful guy at the reception (I think he was Algerian?) his energy really lifted the mood and made us feel so welcome. The location is unbeatable: just a 3 minute walk to several metro stations, a huge supermarket downstairs open until 23:30 and lots of restaurants, bars, and walkable areas around. Truly a great place to stay in Paris!

There are a couple of minor inconveniences: The elevator requires a key card to operate and although there's a shared card hanging inside, it often takes 10–15 tries for it to actually work. A bit annoying, but nothing that would ruin the stay. Also, the hairdryer in the women’s bathroom on the 3rd floor wasn’t working, so I had to go up to the 4th floor and where I noticed there were actually two dryers available, which was great.

Another one to add to my favorite list! Good location right off Nation station, well connected by metro and buses. Very stylish, clean, and well organized. A/C room. Very comfortable bed with private curtain, light, plug socket, and stable structure/ladder for upper bunk (no noisy and shaky climb problem is a big plus!!). Locker under the bed (bring your own lock). Also a restaurant/bar on 6 floor with great view of the plaza, small corner for hostel guests to chill even without any order.

Material of the curtain still let the light through a lot. It would be good to have the curtain material that blocks out the light more.

Each bed in the dorm had its own large ground level locker under the bed and I was offered a padlock to use free of charge. There was a thick curtain to pull across the full length of the bed which allowed me to have privacy. I had a small shelf and electrical outlet to charge my phone. I felt safe and had enough space. All the other room dwellers were quiet and respectful.

There was no obvious place to full water bottles - I tried walking up to the bar area on the roof top but I couldn't access it via the stairs and had to go back down to get the lift. The bar staff were happy to fill my bottle and all was well.

The location was great. The Train station was just across the street. There's a supermarket just next door opened from 7am to 11.30 pm, which has everything you'll need. The neighbourhood has plenty of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets and grocers. The staff were helpful with all my questions, even assisting me with an issue I had with my train reload. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and spacious enough for me to put my things and sleep in, but then again I'm pretty small. I would recommend bringing some hangers as there is only 1 hook per person in the room for jackets. There is a cupboard below the bed to store luggage and belongings. It's big enough to slot my whole 24' luggage in and more. But remember to bring a lock or you will have to rent one at the reception. I got the 6 bed room which allowed for a small bench area which was great as we could then organize our luggage there instead of the narrow aisle between the beds. Do note that although I got the female only room the floor is mixed. So no going to the toilet half dressed as there are guys walking the halls more often than not. The toilet is usually clean but the toilet cubicles are pretty small even for my size. The showers leak water everywhere as the doors do not close tightly and getting dressed in there can be a challenge. I usually just dress half in half out of the shower stall. There were 4 showers but 1 was not working, and 1 had issues with the adjuster. Once all I got was boiling hot water and no adjusting helped. The hairdryer was most often not working, I would be using it for less than a minute then it would shut off or just refuse to work. Breakfast only consists of croissant, baguet, egg quiche, cheese, fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice and coffee. Not exactly a spread but quite sufficient for the day. It's free flow for 10euro or if you added it to your booking, and 5 euro for coffee and 2 pastries or bread.

The only major drawback would be not having a kitchen/common area to eat and relax in. There is a cafe/restaurant on the top floor that is open to public, which is where we have our breakfast. However at night the only place I could get to eat my meal was out at the balcony as it would be full inside. Which would be ok in other weathers but I was there in the winter. Me and my food would be frozen midway through the meal which puts a damper on the enjoyment of the view. We have a nice view of the Eiffel tower in the distance, can even see the twinkling lights and spot light.

Brilliant for a quick overnight between train stations - it's an easy metro/walk to GdL station and a 30-minute bus to GdN station. I slept incredibly well as the room was quiet, cool, and dark. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Light, plug socket, shelf next to bed, and a huge dedicated locker under the bed.

The bathroom seems to always be flooded with water, and for some reason blasts loud dance music throughout the night. It's not audible from the rooms but is a bit jarring, especially considering it's really not a party hostel. It does also seem very expensive for a dorm bed, but I guess that's Paris for you.

Even though the location is not central, it is right next to a major subway station so you can easily hop on the metro and go wherever you like. The rooftop patio has a great view of the central plaza. I also think the rooms had very smart designs that anticipated the needs of any guest. I especially like the light, shelf, and curtain for each bunk bed. The bathrooms were as clean as they can be in a hostel.

The showers are somewhat small and the drainage situation was not great so make sure you wear shower shoes because the floors were often wet in the evenings. Also, the service upstairs was sometimes slow-- it was never clear to me whether I should approach the bar to order or wait for the waiter to come to my table.

The location was amazing very close to the metro station called the nation. So very convenient to travel. Also you get a direct train to Disneyland Paris from there. Rooftop restaurant and the view was amazing especially at night. Clear view of the glittering Eiffel tower. The food was good, you get personal lockers, privacy curtains, AC. The best part was that they allowed me to check in early and the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. I was in the mixed dorm. I have met such lovely people and travellers from across the globe. So no complaints about the dorm. It was a great experience.

The only thing I didn't like was the toilets were very small. And the floor was wet all the time and didn't smell good. Also you don't have access to the kitchen. That means you can't cook anything. I like making my tea and cooking light meals like a packet of noodles. So that wasn't the option but they provide breakfast for a price. So make sure to check that before you book or you can buy there. Overall I would recommend it, a great option for solo travelers like me.
