The location was ideal, 5 minutes walking distance to the metro station. The area is very lively, lots of people in the streets, nice cafés, and yet very quiet at night. On a Saturday I enjoyed the open-air market. The room was exceptionally neat and clean. The personnel was very friendly and helpful.

The first impression was of puzzlement because everything seemed very small and pretty decadent: the spiral staircase, the room, the bathroom. However, I soon realised how clean and tidy it was and enjoyed the stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. They answered all our questions and made our stay extremely comfortable - really happy with the service they provided. The location was great, about a 5-10 minute walk from Nation station which could get us into central Paris in 25 mins. On Saturday and Sunday there were markets on the doorstep which were wonderful to have a look around, really recommend for location alone. The room was a fine size for a couple - has what you need - a bed, toilets, and bathroom. Mattress was comfy and bedding and towels were clean.

There wasn't a shower in our room, only a bath and a shower hose, but this still worked fine and the water pressure and temperature was great. Not the end of the world at all but may not be fully accessible for those who may struggle getting in and out of bathtubs.

Lovely hotel. Signs of it's age and certainly not the biggest of rooms but for the location and cost, brilliant! It really is just a 'bedroom' with a small table and two chairs squeezed in and a small ensuite but it offered everything needed and was used for purely a place to sleep. Bed comfy. The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful; really made you feel welcome. Nation metro station 3 min walk away and some nice bars, bakeries and restaurants very near by. Felt it was more of a local area than tourist, which was great. On the Saturday was market. One of the grandest markets I've seen a d certainly made me jealous thst we couldn't indulge. Well worth a visit if there for that time.

Room was small but certainly not a deal breaker. Room was warm however fan in room. Some signs of age in the bathroom and bathroom door but for me, this added character to the room. Whatever I have listed would certainly not stop me going back. Price was right, staff lovely and location excellent.

Cute, comfy, quirky, and kitschy interior. Mattress wasn’t too soft, great for many activities. The bathroom worked and had a nice blue tile atmosphere. The drain was clogged when we arrived, but fixed very quickly. The hotel is not new and has a certain retro charm. It’s clean throughout. For the price great and the staff was friendly and helpful. Drinks at the hotel are cheap: coffee for 1,50 €, soft drinks for 2 €. The location is great, very close to Nation metro station, bus stations, a 24 hour supermarket, affordable restaurants, a good bakery, a pharmacy, some cute shops. There’s a mysterious crank on the floor next to the bed, whose purpose we didn’t find out.

Key has to be left at reception. The key system is old and doesn’t seem to be the most secure. The safe didn’t work.

Property was perfect for what we needed it for. That was sleep. 3 minute walk to the trains and off you went. Plenty of shops and markets right outside the door of the stay. The staff were very helpful in giving directions. 10 to 15 minutes by train and you were everywhere you wanted to visit.

That the train was a 3 minute walk. Also all the shops and restaurants in the area.

Great value, traditional Parisian hotel, two minutes walk from Nation Metro and 25 minute walk from Gare de Lyon. The hotel has seen better days, but what it lacks in modern facilities is made up for by the staff and the history/quaintness of the rooms (mine had ancient wooden beams). The shower also had plentiful hot water! There are many restaurants, bars and shops within easy walking distance.

Lovely small hotel, located not far from metro station, its a really good location. My first time staying here for a short stay, it was fine, room was as advertised, I found it to be clean and useful. No thrills is the word. Had no issues there. The lift works fine and I was able to get my train the next morning no issues. There are local food places very close to the hotel if your hungry as well.

Most amazing bedroom layout - spiral staircase to a mezzanine with second available double bed! Beautifully decorated columns supporting the mezzanine. The large bathroom was also stunning! - blue and gold mozaics covering the walls, huge wash basin and huge bath. Only downside was the jacuzzi didn't actually work - and had the weird habit of turning itself on regardless of whether there was any water in the bath! Staff were very knowledgeable and very helpful.

The bathrooms look really modern and full of color. The personnel were extremely kind and helpful to us. The size of the room was perfect for the 4 of us. Mind you this is Paris and buildings and amenities are usually smaller than the average US flat

Small things could be fixed to be perfect: light switch cover missing, bubble bath not fully functional.

This hotel is very nice place for its price. The location is very comfortable, you can easily take a straight metro lines to popular tourists destinations, Disneyland as well. Close to hotel there are a lot of shops and restaurants that work until late. The stuff was very polite too

This is an old hotel with old furniture, not the cleanest one. I can't really say that this is a "minus", because it's a 2-stars hotel with comparely low price. In general, I liked my stay here
