The room was small but well equipped, just as you would expect from a city hotel. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly, breakfast was a simple continental choice, the croissants were fab! Shower was compact but powerful, air conditioning was lovely and cold which was most welcome after a very hot day in Paris. Having left and returned to the UK, we noticed that my daughter had left her teddy behind. I contacted the hotel who said they had found it and would return it to me at their cost, this is perfect customer service! I was happy to pay the costs myself. Very satisfied and would book again in the future.

Unfortunately the lift was broken when we arrived and being based on the 4th floor meant having to walk. Not a problem for me, but my brother is disabled so this was a challenge. The hotel however did bring in extra help to assist with getting luggage taken upstairs and then brought back down for departure so they did try to help as much as possible. They were extremely apologetic and were waiting for an engineer to return with the part, no ones fault.

We absolutely loved everything! The room had a charming vintage style, the location was great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a cozy vibe, and the neighborhood feels truly Parisian — not too touristy, which we really appreciated. Still, you can easily reach all the main attractions in about 20 minutes by metro. One lovely touch was the coffee and snacks available at the reception — a nice little bonus after a day of sightseeing! We only had one small issue: the bathroom window was broken and almost fell on me, but I just left it alone to avoid any trouble. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely come back!

The hotel is conveniently located for access to the métro/RER meaning the centre of town is readily/easily accessible. My room was located on the second floor to the front of the property, I was not disturbed by any external noise. The front of house staff were particularly amenable. The available breakfast was pleasant enough but nothing more than that. Overall, it was a great base and made for an enjoyable stay during my visit to Paris, I would certainly recommend it. Thank you.

There was very little to criticise with the exception, perhaps, of the air-conditioning unit seemingly turning itself off in the early hours of the morning meaning the room was stifling on waking up.

This hotel has a lot going for it, location, excellent public transport, cleanliness, good staff and is close to becoming my hotel of choice in Paris bu it has 1 fatal flaw.

The sound insulation between the rooms is very poor. When people in the adjoining rooms are talking in a normal voice you can hear every word. This is very odd because the double glazing is very good quality and there is a minimum of street noise. If your neighbours are up late watching television or just talking, you will not be pleased unless you fall asleep very quickly. This could be fixed quickly and inexpensively.

I stayed in the room with the balcony, I was very pleasantly surprised with the room, there was a bathrobe slippers and everything needed to enjoy the stay. I loved the balcony, we enjoyed our evening sitting there sipping drinks, I liked that it was a bathtub in the bathroom as well. The towel drier was really warm and fast. Also BIIIG PLUS for how big the bed was, I truly enjoyed that, we slept really comfortably in it. The staff is so so so sweet, the cleaning ladies are very kind and helpful, check in and check out both went very smoothly.

Well, in the balcony you can hear loud noises of the ventilator in there, it’s not too annoying but it is very present. Other downside was that the room was a bit cold, outside of the bathroom. It wasn’t warm there and I couldn’t really find the heater easily. Also you can hear EVERYTHING that happens outside the room, every cough and laughter. but it’s not necessarily a hotel problem because that’s pretty much all Paris old buildings.

Lovely hotel for the price. Was our first time in Paris, but we found it very easy to get around from the hotel. Nice bathroom with a bathtub and good lightning. Coffee machine and water boiler for coffee and tea in the room.

Only minus was the fire-alarm going off at 6 in the morning on my last night, so I managed to get locked out of my room in only my underwear and had to go down to the lobby and wait for a bit for them to figure out what it was and then fix me a new key card.

We had a great stay at Hotel Prince Eugene. The location was excellent. Away from the throngs of tourists and in an authentic neighbourhood of Paris, where people head off to work and take their kids to school. Plenty of nearby metro stops, shops and restaurants. Easy to get around. The hotel itself was quite nice, with a boutique feel to it. The room was a little on the small side, but that’s Paris! The staff we dealt with were lovely and helpful, and the place was kept nice and clean.

The staff were very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was good. The location was very near Nation station, where there are many metro and RER lines so it was easy to get around. The booklet in the room recommended shops and restaurants in the area which was very helpful. We found some very good restaurants with these recommendations. There are big trees growing by the boulevard, which was lovely to see. The bedroom is small, but this was what we were expecting in an older Paris hotel, and it was not a problem for us.

Excellent location - great metro and food options nearby. The room was clean, comfortable and well priced - a bit small, but this is Paris. And really wonderful to have A/C while it was so hot!

The facilities were good but the lift wasn't working for most of our stay (though they did offer to carry our bags). Didn't matter - these things happen.
