Finding decent accommodation in Paris at an affordable price is quite difficult. Hotel Trianon Gare de Lyon met my expectations. The high rating on this website convinced me to make a reservation, which was significantly better than competing properties. The hotel building is perfectly located - on the main street, but I couldn't complain about too much noise. Nearby, there is one of the largest train stations in Paris, a metro station (quick access to the biggest attractions), a bus station, and many atmospheric cafes and restaurants. The room I was given was quite spacious, decorated in a pleasant dark blue and gold colour. Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient.

I would love to see a bottle (or two) of mineral water as an addition to the coffee and tea bar.

We had a lovely corner room on the fifth floor with a balcony. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was convenient for transportation in Paris as well as to the Gare de Lyon and Gare de Bercy. The breakfast was a good value. There were lots of restaurants nearby.

It is a small hôtel with a tiny elevator; the space around the bed and toilet were tight but they manage to fit in everything we needed.

We only stayed one night but it had all the facilities we needed and was very clean and comfortable.

We could have been informed that there is another Hotel with same name which might have saved us a trip to wrong Hotel. We were charged 20euros in a Taxi then had to get another taxi and pay another 20 euros to come back to go round the corner 5 mins from station even though I showed Taxi driver the Hotel Address on my phone. We took a taxi in good faith as I have arthritis in my knee and can’t walk far. Then to be told the day after that Taxis will not come to the property. So I had to walk as best I could to station the next day.

The room was excellent and modern, super clean, food was excellent. Front of house were easy to communicate with :)

Wasn’t a way to let ourselves in so if we needed to come back we had to ring a doorbell. No problem staff at the front desk are the only person there so they should fully be able to get up to make their coffee / water ect when working their overnight shift but if they had a keycard lock that would let guests in without needing staff that would be excellent. Also the lift is tiny as a heads up!

The employee at reception, with his professionalism and friendly attitude, made us feel very welcome. The facilities and room are simple but clean and adequate. The room had lots of natural light and the bed was very comfortable. Very close to public transport and a great starting point to discover Paris.

The room and elevator are quite narrow, which can make movement difficult, especially if traveling with larger luggage and/or during busy periods.

The Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the location was super convenient. It was only a few hundred meters from Gare de Lyon, so was easy walking distance to the hotel, ready access to the metro, and I was able to catch the train to the airport too. The room was pristine and whilst not over large, had everything I needed. Highly recommended!!

There was nothing to complain about!

Cheap price comparing to the other options we considered. Location is very convenient. At the end we were completely satisfied with everything considering the cost. The room was not very spacious but it was enough as we were leaving the hotel right after the breakfast and returning just to sleep.

Didn't expect that the bed has only one blanket, although it is big, this is still not what we got used to. But it is still consistent with the photos so we just missed that detail.

Hotel Trianon is located in a great neighborhood full of lovely restaurants, bars and art shops. The Gare the Lyon train and metro station is just a short walk away, and from there it's fast and easy to get around Paris. The room is rather small, but very clean and functional. The promenade Coulée Verte Renée-Dumont is just 100m away from the hotel. We ran from there, 7 meters above the streets, to the Place de la Bastille - and from there along the banks of the Seine to the Eiffel Tower, and back. If you like to walk or run around Paris, Hotel Trianon is the perfect starting point :D

The room was in a good location in Paris and clean. Shower was nice

On one morning at 9:00am , I was unable to get any hot water at all in the shower Luckily I was not in a hurry, so I waited for 15 mins and hot water was available. If you are using this hotel for business, make sure you take a shower early in the morning or at night. On my second morning, I got hot water right away.

The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the metro station and train station. Personnel in the hotel are very kind and open to solving any issue you might have. The room is small but very clean, bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and has natural ventilation. Windows, in the room and the bathroom, are a huge plus in this accommodation.

Nothing, all was very good for a 3-night stay.
