i stayed two weeks at hotel parisianer and loved it! this boutique hotel is super clean and decorated beautifully, and the staff is so professional, attentive and accommodating - especially for a woman traveling alone. miguel was the perfect receptionist/host - professional, warm, and welcoming. he made sure everything in my room was comfortable and to my satisfaction. he also provided fantastic tips on restaurants, excursions, and spas. sarah and hefedh were the weekend and night receptionists, and they were just as kind and gracious. they were immediately responsive with any request, whether i needed towels late at night, or an iron early in the morning. the on-site breakfast was a nice touch before heading out for the day. there were assorted breads, fresh eggs, breakfast meats, fruits and juices. the only drawback was that coffee was not included, but that appears to be customary in paris hotels.

the hotel is tucked away on a quiet street off a main road and a couple of uber drivers had trouble locating it, but i’d say that was more their problem than the location of the hotel.

From the start the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a standard double which was fine for a short break. The room was well appointed, with a very large, very comfortable bed. The pillows were great. It was so good to have a tea/coffee tray in the room and good WiFi and USB connections. Modern bathroom with lovely CLARINS toiletries - I smelled amazing every day! I really appreciated the powerful hairdryer. Great breakfast with lots of choice. Good location and a lovely, peaceful feel to the hotel. Spotlessly clean too.

The Hotel is situated very close to Gare de Lyon but the area feels safe and it's not noisy. The room was well appointed and the bathroom was a good size with Clarins products. We would definately stay here again.

Location, price, comfort, service. The staff was amazing, Hafeidh went out of his way to help us multiple times. The room was small but comfortable, spotlessly clean, bed was amazingly comfortable. This hotel has the best AC I've experienced in 7 years of living in Europe! Paris was 99F the day we were there so it was amazing to have a cool room to come back to. We even had Italian food delivered via the hotel one night. The service was fabulous. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast but thoroughly enjoyed the patisserie across the street. I will recommend this hotel to anyone I know coming to Paris!

Definitely stay at the Hotel Parisianer, especially if you are traveling through the Gare de Lyon. It is an easy 1 block walk. Very clean, well run small hotel with super nice helpful staff. Nice bathroom with warm water and good strong water pressure and good a/c. We stayed 2 nights. We walked along the Seine River to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The Eiffel Tower is on the opposite side of Paris but it's easy to take the metro from the Gare de Lyon. The nice gentleman working at the front desk explained which metro train to take and where to get on and off. Wonderful place. I would definitely stay here again.

The property was really nice, had a great interior with comfortable rooms which were spacious compared to other couple rooms we’ve stayed in before. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very welcoming.

The property itself was lovely there was nothing wrong with it, the location was minutes away from the Gare de Lyon and the metro. The area itself didn’t have a lot of options of things to do without walking a fair distance, but it didn’t really matter to us as we were always on the metro going to places anyways.

The breakfast was a nice selection along with their assortment of fruits and yogurt. Extra bonus points for having Canadian Maple Syrup, pancakes, and sausages! We also found the slippers and Clarins products nice touches!

The insulation and noise reduction is really poor. We could hear everything from the streets including people, garbage men at 6am making their collections. We could also hear people in the neighbouring rooms.

The location was perfect in every sense. It is only 2 minutes of walk to Gare de Lyon, which means you can reach to different suburban train and metro lines very easily. The metro line 1 is even closer, which is the metro line takes you to Musée du Louvre, Ile de la cite, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe and many more. There is a daily cleaning service for the room, and there was a little gift in the mini fridge.

The room was small. It could be better to have a bigger room. Even though it was summer, the first two days of our trip the weather was cold and we had difficulty getting the AC to work hot. Our solution was to switch off the AC or to run it in the air refresher mode.

Very well located hotel with friendly staff. It is at nice locality with loads of restaurants and utility stores - a Carrefour is just opposite the hotel. Gare de Lyon station is next door as well so travelling across the city is very easy. Rooms were clean. The property also has a very basic gym which was a huge plus!

The breakfast could do with some variety (and include some veg options). We were served the same items morning (we stayed nights).

Now on my fourth visit to this very good hotel in Paris. I am happy to see that they are continuing to maintain the good level of clenliness, comfort and service I have experienced in the past. This is for he moment, relatively good value, but this now depends on the time of year in which you visit. The owners should realise that poorer hotels in the area are upping their game and the Parisienne must offer more for the price if it is to maintain its position.

Unfortunately their success has driven them to dramatically increase their prices year on year and they are now at the high end of what I am happy paying in this location. Prices can more than double at times. The local competition is getting stronger in both price and quality in a very price sensitive market.
