The room was compact and just right for a female solo traveller, and everything was very clean. The location was very convenient too, just a 5-minute walk to Gare de Lyon, so I was able to get to the main attractions around Paris with just a short metro ride. The area of the hotel felt very safe too. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that the mirror in the bathroom had a Bluetooth function, so I was able to connect my phone and play some music while I got ready for the day.

As some others have already mentioned, the lifts on each floor are located halfway between the different floors, so if you have heavy luggage or a suitcase, you'll have to walk a couple of extra stairs up (or down) to your floor. I personally didn't mind it, as I only had a backpack for my luggage.

I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Locomo! The room was really comfortable and the facilities were great. There was free tea, coffee and cakes in the reception area, sadly I didn’t get to use any of these facilities as I was out and about all day. The staff were really lovely and accomodating. The location is great, 7 minutes to the Gare De Lyon station. Maximum walk to a train station was 15 minutes with bus stops even closer. You do need to use public transport as it’s not really walking distance to any of the main attractions but it was so easy! I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely not negatives but more things to be aware of - The elevators are a bit odd, they stop on every half floor. I was on the 6th floor so had to walk up a small flight of stairs from reception and take the lift to the 5th floor and walk up another flight of stairs. There’s maybe on 8-10 steps but just be aware if travelling with lots of luggage or heavy luggage. The room was definitely on the smaller side - it was perfect for me but could be uncomfortable for others, just something to be aware of! The photos are accurate of what to expect

It is amazing for solo traveling! Clean and quiet! Location is great. Just don’t pick a lot of luggage and you won’t have issues with its carriage to the upper floors. By the way, I got a very pleasant compliment for the Easter. Great bonus is to be able to drink coffee/tea downstairs in a very cozy lobby/cafe environment. Personnel is super nice speaking fluent English. Top! Happy to come back here Shaina and finally try sauna

Croissants which are no longer available for not early birds. But I believe this is more a problem for guests who has breakfast after 9:45

+ The location is really good and well connected, in a walkable distance to the Gare de Lyon. + The room was big and comfortable. + The staff was very friendly and accommodating. + We were able to safely store our luggage before check-in. Moreover, we got free coffee in the lobby and were able to go to the toilet before check-in. + We were "guest of the day", so we got a free room upgrade and were gifted a hotel Locomo mug, which is for me a very cool and useful souvenir of Paris. Thank you very much again! :)

- The bathroom was really small, not big enough for two people. - We had to walk upstairs to get to the lift. So, it's probably not the best hotel for mobility impaired people.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and were extremely satisfied. The staff was incredibly kind and always helpful, making us feel truly welcome. The breakfast was excellent, with high-quality products and a good variety. The location is perfect: close to the metro and in an area full of restaurants and cafes, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms, while not very large, are well-organized, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. A particularly nice touch was the coffee machine and hot beverages available 24/7. On top of that, the hotel offers great value for money, with very reasonable prices considering the quality of service and the excellent location.

Friendly and attentive staff at the reception and breakfast. The single-person room was small but definitely sufficient, with a comfortable bed and stylish decoration, enough shelf space for my belongings, and the amenities I needed were all available. Breakfast offerings were also more than enough for me, classic and tasty. I enjoyed the common area beside the reception where you can get coffee and tea at any time of day. Great location close to Gare de Lyon. I also had no issues with noise during the night and slept very well. I would happily return to this hotel for another visit!

Not an issue for me, but for less-mobile guests please note that the elevator is between floors, so you will have to ascend a few steps to reach it. Air conditioner could use a checkup--it worked fine, but rattled.

I spent a week here during the Olympics and was delighted by the experience and the affordable cost. I stayed in a twin room, which was a decent size for a solo traveler in Paris. The room was spotless at check-in, the bed was super comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower was great. I really liked the lit mirror in the bathroom and the large number of plugs in the room for charging. The air conditioner worked well to keep the room comfortable in 30°C weather, and the room was very quiet at night. The hotel is a block away from Gare de Lyon, making it super convenient to get anywhere in Paris. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful (and very kind about my complete lack of French).

This was not an issue for me, but travelers with mobility issues should note that there's only 1 small elevator which is up a short flight of stairs. I also would have liked a dresser or more shelves for unpacking non-hanging clothes.

So handy for the Gare du Lyon if you go out at the main entrance by clock tower the hotel is just down the road opposite.Friendly helpful staff , free drinks and cake in reception,great breakfast with hot food, comfortable bed , aircon, two sets of double glazed windows which reduces outdoor noise and nice decor.

Nothing definitely book again, for information there is a lift however the entrances are all midfloor therefore if your room is on third floor you need to go up one flight of stairs to reach the lift then take it to fourth floor and then go down stairs to your room.

The staff was exceptional, especially Mikal! Also, the location is very convenient. You can walk or take the Metro easily. The breakfast and coffee were excellent and varied. The rooms are quite small, but that’s normal for Paris. The bed is very comfortable, the entire hotel and rooms are very clean. The soundproofing is absolutely amazing and I have very sensitive hearing! The value for money is excellent, it’s hard to beat.

Nothing, it was excellent. We only stayed one night but I could see it being very suitable for a long weekend for a couple.

Really nice boutique hotel. The rooms are very nicely decorated and include everything needed for a short stay. The hotel is quite small but the space has been very well designed so that the rooms are comfortable, and the common areas really nice. Breakfast is very good too. Staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The location is great, within walking distance to place de la Bastille, and just a few minutes walk to the gare de Lyon which made it very easy for us to get there early in the morning. Definitely recommended!
