Nice clean room

It was very cold in the room and we asked for an extra blanket - staff refused to give it to us. We had to sleep in our clothes… Really don’t understand why it is so difficult to give the blanket

Great location 2 minute walk to the metro and Gare de Lyon which had good links to all the attractions. If you prefer the bus they were frequent and a minute away. Walkable to Bastille district and if you don't mind a 35/40 walk you can walk to the notre dame and Latin quarter. Staff were friendly and helpful. Tea and coffee available downstairs and a nice lounge area to have a drink in the evening. Mono prix and Carefours a few minutes away. Plenty of bistros restaurants and cafes in the immediate area. Hotel was clean and room serviced daily.

Traffic was relentless all day and night. To be expected by a main railway station however it really never stops. The hotel itself is very quiet and if the room windows are closed you can't hear any traffic noise. It was hot however and we like the window open so it was noisy , the air con was not very effective and a bit noisy. Bathroom is very small and you have to sit on the toilet side on as there is no leg room. Grouting on the shower tiles need some attention as they were grubby.

The Location of the Hotel is really close to the Train/metro station (5-8 mins) depending on whether you are dragging luggage with you or not. The staff at the breakfast room was super friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The rooms are relatively clean and the beds are not too hard or soft with two pillows provided for each guest. You can see the streets from your window. The hotel is located in a somewhat safe area in Paris, we felt safe to walk around even at night.

The elevator does not start from ground floor, you need to drag your luggage(s) up stair cases to reach your room. The bathroom is very small and can feel cramped especially for grown men. The rooms are small (but this is true for most hotel rooms in Paris), for our twin room (for two people) we can fit two full size suit cases (opened) on the the floor with the lid against the wall which is acceptable for us. We booked two rooms one for double occupancy and one for single occupancy; the single occupancy is really quite small so if you are bigger/taller; you may need to book their bigger room.

The hotel is well located, just a few minutes’ walk from Gare de Lyon, with numerous restaurants nearby. The room, whilst rather cosy, was thoughtfully appointed, and the spotless bathroom appeared to be newly refurbished. We appreciated the attention to organic and good quality products for breakfast.

We were in the part of the hotel with a separate entrance round the corner, which was slightly inconvenient when we had to go outside in the rain to get breakfast, and during the evening we had to ring a bell to be let in, sometimes having to wait outside several minutes. They weren’t able to provide a kettle in our room, and I had to go down to the foyer to make our morning tea.

The room was compact and just right for a female solo traveller, and everything was very clean. The location was very convenient too, just a 5-minute walk to Gare de Lyon, so I was able to get to the main attractions around Paris with just a short metro ride. The area of the hotel felt very safe too. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that the mirror in the bathroom had a Bluetooth function, so I was able to connect my phone and play some music while I got ready for the day.

As some others have already mentioned, the lifts on each floor are located halfway between the different floors, so if you have heavy luggage or a suitcase, you'll have to walk a couple of extra stairs up (or down) to your floor. I personally didn't mind it, as I only had a backpack for my luggage.

Even though my room was small the decor was really cool and comfy . Had everything i needed. My friend paid the same for a small single room but got upgraded to a double with a balcony window which was a bit annoying! Staff are lovely and very helpful - great restaurant recommendations

Couldnt get the air con to cool down my room so spent the first night absolutely boiling hot! I could have asked for help but too tired and the next night was cooler anyway. Didn't get to use the hamam and we didn't realise it was an extra cost. WOuld be nice to just be able to help yourself to croissants, bread without having to specifically ask

I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Locomo! The room was really comfortable and the facilities were great. There was free tea, coffee and cakes in the reception area, sadly I didn’t get to use any of these facilities as I was out and about all day. The staff were really lovely and accomodating. The location is great, 7 minutes to the Gare De Lyon station. Maximum walk to a train station was 15 minutes with bus stops even closer. You do need to use public transport as it’s not really walking distance to any of the main attractions but it was so easy! I would definitely stay here again!

Definitely not negatives but more things to be aware of - The elevators are a bit odd, they stop on every half floor. I was on the 6th floor so had to walk up a small flight of stairs from reception and take the lift to the 5th floor and walk up another flight of stairs. There’s maybe on 8-10 steps but just be aware if travelling with lots of luggage or heavy luggage. The room was definitely on the smaller side - it was perfect for me but could be uncomfortable for others, just something to be aware of! The photos are accurate of what to expect

We really enjoyed our stay overall. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the fact that the hammam was private was a great bonus: very relaxing and well-maintained.

The downside was that the hotel is currently split into two separate buildings that don’t yet connect internally, so we had to walk outside on the street to go from check-in and the hammam to our room. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it’s something to keep in mind, especially in bad weather.

It is amazing for solo traveling! Clean and quiet! Location is great. Just don’t pick a lot of luggage and you won’t have issues with its carriage to the upper floors. By the way, I got a very pleasant compliment for the Easter. Great bonus is to be able to drink coffee/tea downstairs in a very cozy lobby/cafe environment. Personnel is super nice speaking fluent English. Top! Happy to come back here Shaina and finally try sauna

Croissants which are no longer available for not early birds. But I believe this is more a problem for guests who has breakfast after 9:45

+ The location is really good and well connected, in a walkable distance to the Gare de Lyon. + The room was big and comfortable. + The staff was very friendly and accommodating. + We were able to safely store our luggage before check-in. Moreover, we got free coffee in the lobby and were able to go to the toilet before check-in. + We were "guest of the day", so we got a free room upgrade and were gifted a hotel Locomo mug, which is for me a very cool and useful souvenir of Paris. Thank you very much again! :)

- The bathroom was really small, not big enough for two people. - We had to walk upstairs to get to the lift. So, it's probably not the best hotel for mobility impaired people.
