Our stay was amazing. The hotel staff were very nice and kind. Both our check-in and check-out were very fast. The room was small, as is typical for this type of hotel, but it was fine. The bed was big and comfortable, though the pillows were a bit too large and stiff for our liking, so we didn’t use them. There was no AC in the room, but it wasn’t hot at all. The surroundings were good, clean and quiet. We stayed during the European Cup, and I want to highlight that even when we left for the airport late at night, the area felt very safe! The location is one of the best you can get, very close to the city center. We walked to the Eiffel Tower on our first day, and it took only about 15 minutes till the first landmark on our way. Gare de Lyon station (for metro and trains) is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and several bus stops are also nearby, depending on your destination. For example, on our third day we went to Disneyland, and it took us only about 35–40 minutes to get there from the hotel. So, the location is truly excellent. Breakfast is available at the hotel, but we didn’t order it. However, there is coffee and croissants provided for about 7 euros (if I’m not mistaken). We preferred eating at the nice places around the hotel, there’s something for everyone in the area!

Only the pillows, simply too hard and too 'bloated' to sleep on them, other than that everything was great

Good location, not far from a train station. Really close to a metro station, so it's really easy to get anywhere you'd like, be it the objects in the city. Additionally, it's really easy to reach both Disneyland and Versailles since the two train stations nearby host direct routes. And even though the hotel is next to a train station, it did not feel dangerous. The staff is great, friendly, speaks good english, welcomes you with smiling faces. When you leave to explore Paris, you have to leave the key. While you're away, you get room service. The rooms look better in real life than in the photos.

Could be a little cleaner in the more difficult to reach, yet visible spots. Would be nice if the room contained a kettle. Weak wifi.

Front office Sister Ms Rima was so kind enough to assist us and made our day to stay with pleasent memories. And as well cleaning staff.. it's was absolutely excellent location to reach the Gare De Lyon station and neighboring restaurant was very close to feed us.. it's a nice place to stay as far as we experienced. Thanks to the hotel management and booking.com team.

Night lamps or a small light for the night. Extra Fan was needed. Plug point are to be mentioned in booking .com as traveller's from all countries have different charging points. So this is left us with no charging points

Great location in Paris. The 24/7 reception was nice, too.

The bedroom was a bit too small (I couldn’t open my suitcase on the floor). The noise insulation was pretty bad (I could hear the neighbor coughing), and there was no elevator. I’m aware that Parisian buildings are old, but I think the hotel would suit people for a short stay (these things could be annoying after a few days).

One of very many standard small * hotels in Paris without an elevator, but much more clean and nice than a majority of such hotels. The high price is given mostly by the location very near to Gare de Lyon. The area is safe with several grocery stores in 3-5 minutes walk, and the street Rue Cremieux next to the hotel is one of the most beautiful historical street of Paris.

They are reconstructing rooms one by one in a very meaningful and understandable way, however if one is sensitive to stink of chemicals, or would neet to stay in a room also during the day when these noisy works are done, they such people should make a deal with a reception to be as far away from a room under reconstruction as poss. Breakfast is, as they correctly advertise, really "petite", just a crossaint, a mini peace of baguete with butter and jam, and a coffee, i.e. no juice. Sometimes it is "self served", but sometimes a woman is there to serve so she might possibly prepare a tea instead of a coffee.

Travelling by rail to Bourg st Maurice for ski holiday with one night stay in Paris. Booked basic room to keep cost down close to Gare du Lyon for onward journey next day. Rated a one star and usually don't go below four star. We were pleasantly surprised. Great location 1 minute from gare du lyon. Very friendly and helpful proprietor. In process of refurbing but perfectly nice and secure. All clean. Bedding crisp and comfortable. Loads of cafes restaurants just down the road. Perfect.

The location is very central, very close to important places and also a 5-minute walk from the train station. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Room cleaning was done on a daily basis and wi-fi worked smoothly. The place is cute and very good in terms of price/performance.

Hotel rooms are small yes, but this is a general feature of France. Also, the spiral staircase can be challenging for those with heavy loads, but we were on the second floor and had no problems. Other than that, it would be nice to have a full-length mirror and kettle in the room.

Location and friendly staff. Considering this is Paris, the price and value is great! The fan in the room was a godsend!!

The building and condition feels a bit tired, but it's okay for what it is. Don't expect a luxury hotel and you won't be disappointed.

The location was perfect, 5 minutes from the Gare du Lyon, and right beside Rue Cremiuex (colourful street). Lots of places to eat nearby.

There is no lift, the stairs were tiring for weary travellers with bags. The room was tiny but perfect for what we needed. They only gave 1 small roll of thin toilet paper, not enough for 2 people for 2 days.

Compact and basic accommodation but given that all we required was a place to sleep it met our requirements. I would be happy to stay there again. Location with respect to Gare de Lyon is a plus.
