Excellent location. This recently renovated, nicely decorated, clean hotel is an easy 5 minute walk from the Gare de Lyon. My 6th floor room overlooking the side street was quiet, had no street noise, and had a charming French balcony. The bed was comfortable. There is an excellent French restaurant nearby that is a great value for money and that the locals go to: Le Bistro Lyonnais, 6 rue Michel Chasles 75012 Paris. The hotel breakfast cost 15 Euros, was convenient & had a good selection (fresh baguette, croissants, pain au chocolate, expresso/cappucino machine, fruit, yogurt, cheese, eggs, cold cuts, etc.). I would stay there again.

The room and bathroom were extremely small but this is typical for Paris. I had a small single room on the 6th floor (top floor). The room was tiny but I only used it for sleeping, so it was OK for me for a 3 day stay. The bathroom was extremely cramped. For taller persons and those needing more bathroom space, I recommend requesting a room with a larger bathroom.

The rooms were clean and modern. Enough space for a couple traveling in the room but not so much space if you have 2 suitcases. The windows were nice, and outlets next to the bed were a big plus. The hotel itself is clean and well kept. It's in a good area with plenty of shopping and public transportation.

For security, they ask you to leave your room key at the desk when leaving the hotel. I've never been to a hotel like this before where you leave your room key in a basket mixed with every other persons room key. Didn't run into an issue with this model, but I'm not a fan. There is no variety with breakfast in the mornings, so expect the same thing for breakfast every day. I did find the breakfast was good each morning and included fresh eggs and fruit and bacon, croissants, cheeses, deli meats, and breads. The front desk guy fussed at me for having my feet on the footstool because that's where suitcases go. Very strange.

I missed the last train to Zurich and needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon for a night. I went for the Palym because of the good recommendations. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I liked how modern the room and bathroom looked like. It had some futuristic touch. I know the room looks tiny on pictures. But to me, it never felt cramped or something. It felt comforting and cozy. Everything was very clean and in good condition. And the staff offered me to store my luggage for a few hours because my train departed in the afternoon after checkout. This allowed me to take a walk through Paris. I will definitely book the Palym again.

The room was as small as advertised, but had everything needed, bed, bathroom, shower. The bed was more on the harder side and there was some noise from the elevator and corridor. But to be fair, there are plenty of hotels where this is far worse. So, it's less of a negative point than just something to be aware of.

Having stayed here previously several times, returning is like coming back to an old friend's place or that of a family member. Ludovic always provides a warm welcome and interest in your days in Paris. The location is perfect for us being close to the train station and access to the Metro and RER train lines as well as several key bus lines, which give easy access to the major sites of the city. The rooms are well-designed and well-appointed for a comfortable stay.

There are no negatives for me.

I arrived late in Paris and needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon train station for an early start the next day. Hotel Palym was perfect for a number of reasons. Location is an easy walk of a few hundred yards to the station. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room, although small, was spotless, well appointed and very comfortable. Wifi worked fine and there was a large TV (although I didn't use it). The bathroom was clean with soap supplied and a very nice shower. I was concerned that being on the ground floor it would be noisy, but not at all. I left before 7 and so did not have the breakfast, but the dining area looked nice.

Nothing of substance. Some might find the room small, particularly for a long stay, but it was fine for me and other rooms may be bigger.

The cleanliness of the toom , comfortable bed & pillows , the breakfast especially thd croissant , butter & coffee , and the location of the hotel so near to Gare de Lyon .

The bath is so nartow , although I sm not tall it was not easy to sit stable on the toilette , sitting by my side , the tub was so small the all the water falls on the floor while washing my face, the design of the bath is so weired, the most annoying point is the € 80 when I arrived as extra value over the booking as a guarantee not to steel something from the room or don’t abide by the hotel rules ! Which was not declared while I was booking in that hotel as it was non- refundable booking , the person in the reception told me I csn cancel the booking now & he will accept the cancellation for free which was not easy for me to search for another hotel at 10 oclock pm with heavy big two bags ! Non - welcoming non- presentable hotel staff even in the breakfast room !

I’ve been many times to Palym last 2 months! (About 4 ou 5 times). It is really a very good place to stay for short or even long periods! Is very near from Gare de Lyon - 3 min walking (just have to cross the street), where it is possible to find anything you need, since markets, restaurants, bistros, bakeries, train and metro station and much more! The employees are all very kind and always very helpful and also speak english besides french ! I will be back soon for sure! Congrats for all employees whose names I did not get to know !

Location is perfect, just at Gare de Lyon station, but in a quiet street. Room was not big, but what do you expect in Paris. However, high ceiling made for it, and fireplace in the corner (though walled, but added a nice touch). Staff very helpful. I was on crutches and they did everything to make my stay as easy as possible. Good bed! Plenty of nice wee restaurants in the side streets, off the main station square. Underground station just across the street, bus stations down the street.

Very clean and functional hotel a few steps away from Gare de Lyon. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was very clean, room was spacious for Paris, and even the view from our window was great. Would definitely stay here again if we needed to be close to Gare de Lyon.

We didn't realize that the room had no mini-fridge, but the hotel was kind enough to store our cold items for the duration of our stay in their refrigerator. Only shampoo was provided, no conditioner.

This accommodation is really great. Perfect staff - the lady at the reception has 5 stars, really great, I rate it 10/10. The room is beautiful, clean, perfect, exactly as it should be. I can't wait to go back to PARIS, I will only stay here. The hotel is beautiful, quiet, the air conditioning is great and the location is absolutely perfect. I recommend it 10/10. Perfect people work there. I recommend it, you will be perfectly taken care of and thank you for the perfect coffee.
