The location was great....in a quiet street but just a 5 minute walk from Gare du Lyon with easy walking and metro/RER access to the whole of Paris. Helpful friendly staff. We took a triple room for two people which was a decent size. Decent value for money relative to other Paris accommodation.

No lift, air con or breakfast but you get what you pay for so, that was fine by me. Could have been much better overall housekeeping to create a better impression eg. the reception didn't look good - cramped with portable aircon unit and general clutter. Then cleaning items and linen left on stairs which suggested a lack of care and little attention to detail.

So the Hotel doesnt have an elevator, and a very thin stair case, though the rooms are really good, and comfy. The bed is nice, and overall, its good value for money, quite some eating options nearby too.

Nice hotel, very near to Gare de Lyon and a short walk from both the Jardin des Plantes and Place de la Bastille. Comfortable room of a great size, staff were pleasant and the area was peaceful though a lot of facilities close by!

A lot of stairs! There is only a winding staircase to access the rooms, so come ready with your climbing legs! Otherwise I didn't have any complaints

The room was clean and renovated. It was small but very comfortable. I read bad comments but I did not regret to stay there. It is in good location. The stuff was helpful, took my luggage to the room.

There is no lift. If you stay on upper floors you have to take the stairs but not long. No breakfast.

Noise in from neighboring rooms: some women cannot help simulating their actions by shouting. But so far, this is not the hotel's fault.

Location is great if you are using trains. Only two underground stops from Eurostar.

No WiFi, no English tv channels, and no lift. Fortunately we were only on the second floor so two flights of winding staircases to go up. Not ideal.
