We were so impressed with this hotel, the staff is incredible welcoming, we were provided with a map and tips about the city and best times to book for Notre dame, they have a washer and drier you can use, we were also told you can use their kitchen if you'd like to prepare a meal. We were 3 adults and 2 children staying in the quintuple room, and we had plenty of space. The room covers all your basic needs, comfy beds, big showers. The locations is perfect, close to metro stations, restaurants and markets. They'll store your luggage after check out if you need to. 100% recommend

We liked everything.

The managers went out of their way to help us and seemed to anticipate our needs! They were incredible. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the bathroom. It was all great There is no lift and we were on the 4th floor with a family of 4 but the manager said we could leave the extra suitcases we didn't need for our stay in the back room. This made life so much easier.. Also you can use the kitchen after breakfast time so if we stayed longer we would have cooked. And we could wash our clothes so we returned to Australia with little washing to do! If we come to Paris again we will be staying here.

excellent location - at Latin Quarter, 5 mins to Notre Dame and 20 mins to Lourve Museum. Metro and bus stations are just 5-10 mins away. Lots of things to explore in the streets and alleys nearby. breakfast is a cup of fresh orange juice, a croissant and a slice of baguette with a bottle of coffee/tea/chocolate. Simple but fulfilling. Cozy bed and clean linen. Friendly and thoughtful staff. Considering the price level in Paris, that's nothing I should complain about.

Well maintained and clean. Great location in Latin Quarter and near to everything, although a bit difficult to find the first time. Good breakfast with good price.

Nothing in particular, perhaps no lift is the downside of it.

Lovely location with a small breakfast of baguettes and croissants, orange juice, and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Delicious, although a little more variety would have been nice. They welcome to use the kitchen, laundry, and refrigerator. This was unique and helpful. Nice view from window. Make sure to check which room has a bathroom and shower inside or else you’ll dance your way through the hallway.

No elevator for those who have bad knees, typical for Paris.

All the staff, in special Anna, she was very kind and helpful with me; I had a very sad situation about my mom’s health at the check out time and she was full of empathy trying to help me to feel better. I used to work in 5 stars hotels in Barcelona and Colombia and that’s the kind of level in customer service that I do always and apreciate, she is very professional. The human resource is the best of this hotel and the clean and quiet room. The manager was very nice with me at the check in time too, I can recommend this Hotel 100%. Thank you!🩷🙏

Everything was perfect.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to St. Michel Notre Dame station, Ile de Cite and the Louvre Museum. In fact, one can see most of Paris' attractions by walking/cycling if one stays here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and because they spoke English, communication was not a problem. The hotel was clean and quiet with all the basic necessities one would need.

There was nothing that I did not like. Do note, however, that the hotel does not have a lift, so if your room is on a higher floor you will need to pull your luggage up the staircase. Or keep it in safe custody with the hotel. Its Paris and such things are not uncommon. You just have to live with it. The advantages of this hotel far outweigh this one disadvantage.

Close proximity to de l’ Citie and sights I wanted to see. Friendly staff that gave me a map, oriented me to Paris and made suggestions on where I might want to go nearby. My room and bed were very comfortable and the neighborhood was quite safe.

My room was by the staircase so I heard people going up and down the stairs even quite late at night. However that was the only negative thing and it won’t keep me from booking again with Hotel Marignan.

Super clean place with comfortable beds. Our room had a beautiful view and the location was superb. Very close to metro and bus stops and many destinations are easily walkable from the hotel. The staff were also incredibly nice!

The only downsides (none of which were a big deal): there is no elevator so you'll have to carry your luggage up a spiral staircase. The shared kitchen closes in the evening so access to hot water or the fridge is limited at night. The rooms are fairly small. We had a triple room with one double and one single bed in it and there was not much room for anything else. Not an issue for us though since we were out most of the time.

Hotel was managed professionally, clean, comfort and freindly. For some unexpected personal matter, had to checkout quite late, but management allow me to have a quick sshower and packing without pressure. Also location is pretty decent, quiet and tasteful neighborhood. Good metro connection or walking to city around too.

Room was too small with no room to move around. Only double bed taking up all the space. Would have been better with a single bed with space.
