Perfect location in the not too touristic but great 5th arrondissement of Paris. Near Musée de Cluny, Sorbonne and the Blvd St Germain. Friendly staff, and helpful hotel manager. Everything within walking distance. Nice charming older building. Good amenities. The street was beautiful and quiet, plants and trees in the middle, no cars.

The room was a bit small and noisy, one could hear 'everything' in the adjacent rooms. However, it was clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was spotless. For a 3 night stay this room was adequate. For a longer stay, it would have been too cramped. No elevator, however my room was on the second floor, so it was doable.

From the moment we arrived, Hotel Marignan Latin Quarter exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the Seine and Notre-Dame, surrounded by charming cafés and bookstores. The price was very reasonable for such a central area, and the rooms were spotless, with a warm, inviting feel that reflects the hotel's unique Parisian decor. As a family, we really appreciated the family-friendly services. Breakfast each morning was simple yet satisfying, and it was clear that the hotel cares about the environment with its sustainability efforts. Most of all, the staff was incredibly attentive and kind, always ready to help with directions or suggestions. We’ll definitely return—and recommend Hotel Marignan to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and authentic Paris experience at a great value.

No lift, but our room was on the 2nd floor, so it wasn't too bad..

good location in the historical center of paris not far from the sights. Good helpful staff. On the ground floor you can use the kitchen, refrigerator and laundry

the room is very small and hot, one socket for the whole room, view of the wall, no mosquito nets, there were mosquitoes, no toilet or shower in the room. The bed is small like in a hostel, and the price is like a hotel, there is no soundproofing, I heard children screaming all evening, breakfast is coffee with a croissant and a baguette with butter, but if you don't eat flour then your breakfast is just coffee))

We liked the location. We walked everywhere and was only a train ride or short uber ride to tourist spots. The room was clean. Had the basic essentials. Very basic room. The place seemed quiet. You don't really see or hair any of the other guests.

It didn't have an elevator so we had to walk up 6 flight of stairs. It says there is laundry available but the owner didn't seem like that we used it. I put my clothes in the washer and he said he would transfer it over which he didn't. At the end of the day we say it in a pile on top of the washer. Its also next to a school right across the way. You can hear groups of kids screaming at all hours that the school was open. I don't recommend if you're planning on sleeping in.

The location is great, in Latin Quarter close to Pantheon and the gardens. Very cozy area and it felt safe at night. In a quiet car-free street. Kind owner/receptionist, always willing to help and answer questions. My room had everything I needed, I had my own sink, which was very practical and shared toilet and shower. Bed very soft and comfy. Everything was clean. Good wifi, simple, but good breakfast. Value for money.

As my roon was close to the staircase, I heard people walking up and down the stairs, I am sensitive to noise, so didn’t sleep well. Just bring ear plugs and you’ll be fine. Othewise no negatives at all; this hotel exceeded my expectations.

We were so impressed with this hotel, the staff is incredible welcoming, we were provided with a map and tips about the city and best times to book for Notre dame, they have a washer and drier you can use, we were also told you can use their kitchen if you'd like to prepare a meal. We were 3 adults and 2 children staying in the quintuple room, and we had plenty of space. The room covers all your basic needs, comfy beds, big showers. The locations is perfect, close to metro stations, restaurants and markets. They'll store your luggage after check out if you need to. 100% recommend

The managers went out of their way to help us and seemed to anticipate our needs! They were incredible. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved the bathroom. It was all great There is no lift and we were on the 4th floor with a family of 4 but the manager said we could leave the extra suitcases we didn't need for our stay in the back room. This made life so much easier.. Also you can use the kitchen after breakfast time so if we stayed longer we would have cooked. And we could wash our clothes so we returned to Australia with little washing to do! If we come to Paris again we will be staying here.

excellent location - at Latin Quarter, 5 mins to Notre Dame and 20 mins to Lourve Museum. Metro and bus stations are just 5-10 mins away. Lots of things to explore in the streets and alleys nearby. breakfast is a cup of fresh orange juice, a croissant and a slice of baguette with a bottle of coffee/tea/chocolate. Simple but fulfilling. Cozy bed and clean linen. Friendly and thoughtful staff. Considering the price level in Paris, that's nothing I should complain about.

Lovely location with a small breakfast of baguettes and croissants, orange juice, and coffee, tea, or hot chocolate. Delicious, although a little more variety would have been nice. They welcome to use the kitchen, laundry, and refrigerator. This was unique and helpful. Nice view from window. Make sure to check which room has a bathroom and shower inside or else you’ll dance your way through the hallway.

No elevator for those who have bad knees, typical for Paris.

Well maintained and clean. Great location in Latin Quarter and near to everything, although a bit difficult to find the first time. Good breakfast with good price.

Nothing in particular, perhaps no lift is the downside of it.
