The location is great. Very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Everything spotlessly clean! Mini bar offering free water. The coffee at breakfast was very good.

I asked for the possibility to check in early.but never got an answer from the hotel. I arrived early and could leave my suitcase in the luggage room. I had booked a superior room and had understood it offered a nice view. I asked the receptionist to confirm this since my son who was travelling with me was visiting Paris for the first time and I really wanted the whole experience to be special. I got very vague answers and it turned out, the room was facing a wall... When I booked, I also requested 2 separate beds but we got a double bed. I didn't feel like making a big deal of these things but I found it disappointing. The breakfast was very basic, quite underwhelming for a 4 star hotel. There's definitely room for improvement here.

The decor, the cleanliness, the mini snacks during the day and the kindness of the kitchen staff.

I loved everything about this hotel, the room on the ground floor next to the little garden was beautiful, but we were woken up early due to the noise from the breakfast lounge. Its no one's fault but being so close to the breakfast area creates an early alarm clock if you plan to sleep in.

We had a really nice stay at this hotel in Paris. The location was perfect, close to the metro and just a short walk from Notre Dame. The room was the right size, had everything we needed, and the view from the small balcony was amazing. We could see the rooftops of Notre Dame, which was a great bonus. The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We arrived two hours early, and since our room was ready, they let us check in right away. It was a kind gesture that started our stay on a great note. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.

The Hosts were always helpful with recommendations and ideas for where to go for meals and dinners. Recommendations received were excellent. The "Junior Suite" was quite ample and included both Tub and Shower with two Sinks making it ideal for a couple. Closet and storage areas were quite ample and included a Mini-Fridge.

The Bed in our Room No. 64 was a little on the soft side and my husband had a wee bit of back pain from that but not anything debilitating. It is as much his own back issues as the bed itself but anyone with back issues might have the same concerns.

Fantastic location, clean, updated, and modern bedrooms with comfortable beds and well-functioning AC with adequate storage for a short stay, clean and new-looking bathroom, cute balcony window, responsive and caring staff (responded promptly and thoroughly to our concerns and also provided thoughtful recommendations for local restaurants), excellent value!

Had to wait for an hour to check in due to turning over rooms. Initially we were placed in a room right next to the lobby; it is fantastic that the hotel has an option for those with disabilities but we did not need such accommodations and did not love that location. Fortunately, we voiced our concerns to the hotel and they promptly offered us a different room on another floor, which we loved, so 10/10 for service and responsiveness to guests.

Water pressure in the attachable shower was really weak in one of the most expensive rooms. So weak that you just can’t use it. Women will understand. I’m talking about hygiene. Manager said it was all the same in all rooms. But it wasn’t. We discovered that when we switched to a cheaper room. It wasn’t great. But better. Nespresso pods won’t be renewed. That’s weird for a four star hotel. Even weirder is that you don’t get new cosmetic kits with cotton swabs and stuff. TV didn’t work. I don’t need it. But it was paid…

Stylish hotel with spacious (junior suite!) and well-designed rooms which are suitable not only for city breaks but also for longer stays (enough storage space). Hotel is very well located and it is not only about ~300m distance to Pantheon (and ~500m to Notre Dame de Paris) but also about shops in the nearby including very good Boulangerie, Fromagerie and wine shop in direct vicinity. Very helpful staff. Complimentary water and juice in the room.

Breakfasts could be better, but they keep the standard and hence they are not a real problem especially that the coffee is perfect (they have Jura coffee machine). Lack of paid mini-bar is a minor drawback.

We loved the location along a quiet street, with the pantheon in sight. The staff were so friendly, we had so many questions about the city that they were more than willing to answer. We loved our room, big comfy bed with the most comfortable pillows and big cozy duvet. The shower and bathroom were larger than we expected which was a plus as well! Not to mention the sauna, which was a whole experience within itself! Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Would for sure be back if we find ourselves in Paris again!

‏A good hotel is such an important and meaningful part of a trip, and we were so lucky to choose Hôtel des Carmes. ‏Our stay at the hotel was simply wonderful. The location is excellent – right in the heart of the Latin Quarter, close to everything: restaurants, shops, and public transportation. The atmosphere at the hotel is very warm and pleasant. ‏The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, always with a smile, and helped us with everything we needed. The rooms were clean and tidy, relatively spacious for Paris, and the balcony was amazing! ‏Definitely a place we recommend, and we’ll surely be back! ‏Thank you so much!
