Spacious rooms in an excellent neighborhood that's great to explore! I stayed during the winter and appreciated being able to open the window for fresh air, as the hotel tended to run warm. The WiFi worked well for scrolling at night, and the beds were comfortable.

The neighborhood itself is great—10th and 3rd is a fun area to explore—but the buildings surrounding the hotel take away from its appeal and definitely lower the value of its location. The room overlooked a school’s recess area, which was an odd choice and meant being woken up early by screaming kids—definitely not ideal for a relaxing stay. On top of that, the hotel is right next to an underpass that reeks of urine, making the walk back feel gross and uninviting.

First time last August was perfect, this time in November it was a different room, which the toilet is separate from the shower unit which I didn't like. The he reception team is helpful as usual except one of them this time. Breakfast is good but doesn't have variates for Muslims, I like the idea of keeping drinks till the evening.

Stayed in 2 different rooms because the carpet was wet in the first room. Contrary to some of the comments, pictures reflect well the room. The rooms are indeed small, as in all the hotels I have stayed in Paris. But the rooms were cleaned and breakfast was good for 14€ (the only issue is the way they cook the eggs). Location is very good. It’s a residential/local area, not many tourist around, full of restaurants and bars but still close to the touristic attractions (Notre-dame is a 30min walk). For 100€ a night (no breakfast included) I think it was a very good deal.

The hotel looked really beautiful and was very comfortable. The beds were comfy and clean. The room is very spacious, which is rare in Paris. The neighborhood was 10/10. Lots of nice bars and restaurants. Great coffee shop and bakery on the corner for breakfast. Metro stop was 5 min walking and is a main connection spot so it’s easy to travel all through paris. I travel to Paris at least 3-5 times a year, it’s my first time here and definitely coming back.

The bathroom was quite small and sometimes a bit noisy, but overall very good experience.

Hotel Taylor is amazingly good value for money - the location is near-ideal (walking distance from the Gare du Nord if you don't have too much luggage, but the neighborhood vibe is Marais/residential). the staff are pleasant and professional, the breakfast is reasonably nutritious and tasty, the rooms are clean, the coffee/tea/snacks in the rooms are simple but functional and very welcome, and it has a nice combination of old-Paris charm and more modern conveniences.

Nothing comes to mind - for the price, Hotel Taylor is pretty unbeatable.

The room was not overlarge, but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was OK. It was a nice comfortable hotel in a good location, not far from the Place de la République, with shops and cafes nearby. I had breakfast at the hotel as I was there 2 nights. I am a vegan, so I had black tea, toast, jam and fruit (of which there was plenty). I happened to mention at reception that I was a vegan and they said I should ask for plant-based milk. On the second day I did and they gave me oatmilk, so I was able to have muesli. They had previously told me about a restaurant nearby where I could get vegan meals, so I had a nice Thai dinner.

The location was perfect. Both in terms of access to Metro stations and also the surrounding area which definitely has a lot of character. The bed was comfy, the shower was good. Great to have proper big refillable bottles of toiletries, not those tiny plastic ones. Nice to have some soft drinks in the room every day. The street is perfect - Bar le Taylor is a great place for an aperitif, the Mamiche Boulangerie has the best pastries & bread you can get anywhere in France! Such a variety of really good, inexpensive restaurants nearby - we liked GOTAH and Boullion République.

This hotel is a true gem in the Paris, the prices of accomendations raised a lot in the area but Hotel Taylor still offers reasonable prices, and they have the most friendly staff who help you with personal restaurant recommendations. In times of digitalization you would want to check into hotels like taylor. It makes the hotel stay not only as "functional decision for sleeping" but an event. I absolutely recommend you this one!! and yes, location is extremely good.

We found the location to be excellent - close to public transit and a variety of bars and restaurants. Depending on how far you are comfortable walking, it is also within walking distance of some tourist attractions. The room was spacious enough for our needs, and included a mini fridge with enough storage for small amounts of person food/drink. There was also a water kettle for tea and a Nesspresso machine. The hotel also provides free water/soft drinks in the fridge that are replenished daily. The bathroom was spacious and very clean with high water pressure in the shower/tub. We appreciated the daily room turnovers to keep the room clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. They stored our luggage when we arrived to the hotel and showed us to the bathroom in the lobby where we could freshen up after our flight while our room was still being prepared. They always said hi when we came and went from the hotel. When we had a question about booking a river tour they provided some helpful advice.

My only very small complaint relates to the bedding. When we first got to our room and did the usual bedbug check we saw some stray hairs on the bedding/bed cover. It was clear the bedding was clean, but the hairs made it look a little unclean. Additionally, there was no top sheet - just a bed cover, sheet over the mattress, and comforter with duvet cover. This made from some hot sleeping some nights.

The location of this hotel was superb. Surrounded by streets of gorgeous restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. Honestly I would get so annoyed when we went to more touristy areas like near the Eiffel Tower as I was used to such a high standard of shops near our hotel. Just down the road was a gorgeous little chocolate shop and an incredible bakery. You were near so many metro stations so could get to anywhere in the city so easily, although to be honest the area of the hotel was my favourite in all of Paris! The rooms were clean, and had Juliet balconies which felt so lovely to open. The soap/toiletries smelt amazing. The slippers were a nice touch. Lovely that they refilled the drinks, coffee and crisps in the room. The shower was strong and hot. I’m pregnant and not sleeping well but that bed was the cure! Nice areas downstairs where you could sit and drink a coffee or eat a pastry from the local bakery. Staff allowed you to leave your bags there if your train was later.
