The location was amazing - close to a wonderful neighborhood and to the metro, plus the staff was very kind and accommodating of my traveling partner’s disability. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It’s an older building with some lovely charm - I especially liked the spiral staircase and the very small balcony. Oh! And the fact that they helped our bags on our check out day is so helpful!!

I knew the hotel did not have A/C but with the unseasonably hot summer days, it was hard to cool down enough for sleeping. Taking cool showers at night helped, as did the provided fans. The room and bathroom are small…which I knew from other reviews. There is very limited floor space for anything but since we mostly only slept and showered in the room, that was ok.

the hotel is very well located (close to république, metro, grocery stores, restaurants). the staff is great and nice, they keep your key when you leave the hotel which helps you not lose it. the room is clean (cleaned everyday) and the beds are very comfortable. we also had a great view on the street from the balcony! overall great stay and amazing quality for the price

t's true that the bathroom is a bit outdated and could use some remodelling, but it's overall clean and does the job for a few days' stay. the walls are also pretty thin but other guests are relatively quiet (at least when we stayed there). the wifi was also pretty bad in our room (i ended up using mostly my data).

Location. Location. Location. It’s amazing how close Metro République is, which is well connected with several lines and you get to center of Paris in 10 to 20 ish minutes. The area is really quiet and nice, Boulangerie everywhere and bar and bistros as well. Staffa is so nice and helpful, hands down the best. They are so happy to speak Spanish also help you a lot in English lol.

The room that I got was next to another room and I could hear my neighbors talking loud. But it is what it is. I just used the earplugs to sleep better.

It has the same price and comforts as a budget hotel, usually located in the middle of nowhere. Instead, it is located in the city's center, in a very handsome neighborhood, where you have plenty of choices for shopping, restaurants, and public transportation. The staff is very friendly and cooperative.

We liked the room. Excellent shower. Appreciated our bed being made each day and fresh towels. Liked the petite balcony and open window options.. Plenty of hangersFriendly staff. Well situated for Metro.

No option of fresh fruit for breakfast... Would have appreciated that. Freshly made coffee not over percolated..

The big bonus of this hotel is the location. Quiet neighborhood, the hotel is located between two metro stations: Republique and Strasbourg Saint-Denis, a 5-8 minute walk away. Lots of terraces, pubs, cafes, patisseries and shops within 150 m around the hotel. If outside noises bother you at night, close the window and the thermal insulation completely isolates the sound. The hotel has an elevator. The receptionists are super OK, with a 24/24 hours schedule, and the rooms are cleaned daily. The rooms are relatively small in size, but the accommodation rate is determined by the location of the hotel. All in all, I recommend this hotel, pleasant stay, you feel safe and welcome.

Great location! Lots of cafes and various food around. Very close to Republique with access to several metro lines. No elevator and no air conditioning but that’s normal in France. My 6th floor room was lovely. My view out onto the rooftops of the old courtyard was so very French and delightful. One evening it rained and I just sat by the window and enjoyed the moment. It was a perfect room if you’re just looking for a good location and a place to sleep and shower.

Like others have said the walls are thin and noise carries well. The doors (locking, unlocking, opening and closing) are loud but the way the hotel is laid out I only had one neighboring room. It was loud when they got back to their room and I’m sure my door was loud when I got back to my room. Just hope you don’t have a noisy neighbor.

The location is quite central so each part of the town is easily accessible by nearby metro. The room was small but clean and comfort. The stuff is nice, friendly and ready to answer any questions you have regarding your stay or neighborhood.

As it was quite cold weather outside, an extra blanket would be perfect addition. But it wasn't cold or noisy to sleep, or anything else that was interrupting our night rest.

Lovely little hotel. Comfortable bed and very clean. It was an old, quaint little building and may be difficult for people who struggle with stairs. Room was absolutely tiny, but it is an old building in central Paris so I wasn't expecting anything else. Staff were friendly Location was great and for the price was pretty good

Would have liked a kettle to have some tea in the afternoon
