The hotel is excellent, it was the second time we stayed there and it was just as great as the first time. Room is not very big but very clean, breakfast is delicious, and coffee and pastry is available all day long. Lobby area is beautiful. Staff is very friendly, especially one guy whose name I don’t remember unfortunately, but we were told he works there from the beginning. Location is good, concord metro station is few mins walk, and a bit further is République with even more lines. Nearby is a beautiful park buttes chaumont (just 15 mins walk).

The street across the hotel is quite noisy so if you are sensitive don’t forget ear plugs

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. It was my girlfriend’s 30th birthday and the hotel treated us to a lovely room, with a very special bottle of wine as a present and a petals heart on the bed - what a beautiful surprise. The staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed and most pleasant to deal with. The hotel is beautifully decorated and so are the rooms. Super convenient location and lovely neighbourhood with plenty of charming cafes and bistros around plus the very romantic Canal Saint Martin! A perfect place for a special stay in Paris!

We loved everything, there wasn’t anything to not like!

A wonderful find, exceptional service and a lovely room. Everything was very clean, the bathroom is a good size with a good shower. Particularly enjoyed the constant supply of free pastries and cakes at reception, along with tea and coffee, which made grabbing a snack very easy. It's a short walk to nearby Metro stations (5-10 minutes), and there are plenty of cafes and restaurants close by, as well as the canal, which was lovely on a hot day.

Whilst sound-proofing between rooms was generally decent, there's almost no soundproofing between the ensuite bathroom and the main room, so if one person needs to get up early (or comes in late) and has a shower or runs the sink, it can be very noisy. It's tucked back from the main street, but if you need the window open at night, that was also a bit loud (rooms had air-con as well, so not a major issue).

Beautiful little Hotel with exceptionally friendly staff, from front desk to cleaning personnell. Tea and coffee and water and fresh cake/ Croissants in the foyer, very cozy interiour, excellent breakfast. I loved the wintergarden. Close to metro station, restaurants, even little stores, an artisan bakery. Everyone spoke English. Rooms are small, but still pretty. Small bathroom but still room to spread your stuff.

The elevator is tiny, 1 person w luggage is ok. We were grateful to have it, though. Took the stairs down. No room for large luggage, but ok for 4 days small luggage. Loved the place and its short beds anyway. Temperature good to adjust, can open window, which I love.

Lovely little hotel in a quiet residential area not far from St Martin’s Canal. Quirky but charmingly decorated. The staff were delightful and very happy to answer all our questions. On our arrival we were given a choice of rooms (a very nice touch and presumably not always possible). We chose one at the front of the hotel, despite this facing onto the street it was in fact very quiet. A beautiful fruit basket was left in our room and there were cakes, tea and coffee in the reception for guests to help themselves to free of charge. Those wanting to be in the heart of Paris might find it a bit far out, that said the hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the nearest Metro (Goncourt) and from there 10 minutes to Châtelet. Feels more authentic as a result. Great restaurants nearby including Le Marine on the canal.

Nothing to complain about. One small niggle, there is WiFi but (for us) it cut out quite regularly (if we moved from our room to downstairs) and we had to log back in again each time which was a bit of a faff.

We loved our stay. Our flight arrived early in the day and they were able to accommodate an early checkin. The location was perfect for our 6 nights exploring different neighborhoods of Paris. Any metro line we needed was a close walk. Many high quality bakeries close by to explore for affordable breakfast. Safe neighborhood. We never had to ask for anything extra but there was always someone available if needed. We appreciated the 24 access to coffee/hot chocolate in the lobby. Comfortable bed. Excellent water pressure and temperature, which I find is not common in many hotels.

We liked everything about this property and our room. Rooms are not huge but this needs to be the expectation in Paris!

Beautiful hotel. The room was spacious (especially for Paris standards!) and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Large bathrooms with a big shower. Location was pretty good, quiet but plenty of public transport options nearby and walking is also a very decent option. The staff was lovely and very enthusiastic and welcoming. Breakfast was OK. Lobby is cozy and there's tea/coffee and pastries available at all times throughout the day!

Honestly nothing major, but the elevator is incredibly small, though the staff will gladly help you out with your luggage!

All were very nice. People who work at hotel are really friendly and helpful in everything. Yes, the rooms are small but it’s not the most important if you are most of the time in the city. Living in this hotel you no need to worry about transport to city centre, you almost there. Walk- 25-30 min to Louvre but if you don’t want to walk, metro station is very comfortable, stations is near and you can easily go with it where ever you want.

I think price could be a little bit lover. But I believe I will receive a discount next time visiting Paris. Oh, in room, there was no spoon and fork, I think it should be.

We really enjoyed our stay at La Planque. The decor was well thought out with a nice mix of vintage pieces and modern comfort. Our room was a good size (for Paris) with a modern bathroom and luxury toiletries. The local area is peaceful and not very touristy but still close enough to everything. We found lots of nice cafes and restaurants close by and enjoyed the 30 minute walk down to the Marais. Staff were also very friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Wifi was a little annoying as it would sign you out after a few hours, not a big issue as we didn't need to use it much.

The bed was super comfortable and the room very clean! The hotel itself is well situated with a metro station just 5 minutes away. It is close to 3 grocery stores and the neighbourhood is lovely to walk around with good restaurants to eat at. Canal St Martin is right there! And the vibe is great in the evenings and mornings :)

I would have liked brighter lights in the room and the wifi wasn't as good as it could be. If you're not working it should be fine.
