The service was perfect, the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. The rest of the staff was helpful as well. The breakfast was quite decent (we loved the croissants), but in my humble opinion it could include more options and the portions could be a bit bigger (more value for money). Metro station very close to the hotel. Great view and beautiful place overall. Clean rooms, small but very cosy. Nice bathroom and very good showers. Beds were very comfortable.

Maybe the only downsides were that the fridge was a bit difficult to access/open. Sometimes the cleaning staff forgot to bring towels and some of the power sockets didn't function properly (our phone chargers didn't work properly most of the times). Sound proofing was not bad, it could be better though.

Great location right on the Canal St Martin, with super friendly staff who gave us great recommendations and made terrific Australia-quality coffees! Our room was lovely with a view over the canal and the rooftops of Paris! We had a very enjoyable short stay, in a cool part of Paris with a great vibe and lots of restaurants, only a short walk from the metro - the one that leaves from the Place de la République takes you straight down to the Seine and a lovely walk to the Eiffel Tower!

It’s not a typical hotel with a lobby to sit, a bar, restaurant etc., but appears to be an apartment building which was turned into a hotel. That said, we’d book it again because it has everything we are looking for when we visit a city.

Chaim at the desk was amazing! So informative and charming, genuinely wanting our Paris experience to be fabulous. We Enjoyed watching people pass over the bridge at night, great central location close to Gare du Nord and the Eurostar and comfortable and stylish bathrooms and beds. Beautifully clean (the staff even serviced the room when our stuff was literally everywhere, it was very impressive) and the layout was well designed and the room well equipped.

Yes the rooms are small but we were 2 parents and 2 teenagers and had a double room and it was fine - plenty of space for suitcases and to relax. Renovations were underway but Chaim and the team did everything possible to mitigate any inconvenience and gave advance notice before our arrival so it was not a problem.

Perfect location on the canal although obviously noisy as it is on a bustlng street. But quiet once the bars are closed. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very cool hotel. Room was spacious and had three windows onto the street so felt very luxurious. Lovely packed breakfast as restaurant/bar attached to the hotel is undergoing renovation, which we knew about in advance.

Nothing. It was lovely. A small city hotel so not for someone who wants a hotel reception area etc. Just a few rooms and one member of staff on duty.

The breakfast was great. It was a basic Parisian breakfast - croissant, coffee, bread/butter/jam, but with good coffee and fresh orange juice. Room was spacious. We were on the 1st floor and it was not noisy. Chaim, the hotel manager, is very friendly and helpful with your stay. The room had a coffee machine, water kettle, and the bathroom had great soaps.

Everything was fantastic. If I had to mention one thing, it's that it was 2 single beds merged into one instead of a queen size bed.

Perfect for a "petit escapade" and for knowing a beautiful part of Paris, without the wave of tourists You could really feel french, safe, stylish and 10 years younger. 😊 Quite a millennial feell to it. And this is mostly because of the lovely, attentive, casual , interesting chats, and funny employee like Chaim. But also the atmosphere of the hotel showed and impersonated all that feel on the simple and cosy design details. Really, really loved it. And the channel saint martin and the Marais is the perfect place to stay in Paris. Thank you Chaim!! Thank you Paris!

Hmm... don't remember anything. The small room we chose could be larger. But it's Paris, so it was huge. 😅

The room was very small, which we expected, but the use of space (particularly the bathroom) was a little better than expected. The included breakfast was as expected - a good cup of fresh (really fresh) OJ, a coffee of your choice, and a pain au chocolate. But the "highlight" was the staff who all really tried to be helpful and friendly.

The room was small - we knew that, it was well designed, but it was only okay because we wanted the location so badly. And the lack of air conditioning meant that the windows had to be open, which allowed more noise.

The location was fantastic, fairly close to a lot of metro lines at Republique square. Nice restaurants near by and scenic. The staff was super helpful and friendly and spoke multiple languages. Fantastic croissants and pain du chocolat in the mornings was a nice bonus.

The hotel is under construction, which was most in the lobby area, and the Wi-Fi did not work the first day. However they got it fixed the next day and were responsive and helpful.

A comfortable place for a one night stopover on our way back to the UK via Eurostar: a 20 minute walk to Gare du Nord. Our room was compact and well- designed with an excellent shower and extremely comfortable bed. It was nice and light, with windows overlooking the canal. Check-in process online was very efficient, and it was helpful to have a few restaurant recommendations (one of which we used - Hotel du Nord - very good). Breakfast was simple but good: freshly squeezed orange juice, pot of tea or coffee and croissant or baguette.

There were many positives including: - Great location on the canal with loads of bars, restaurants and boutiques nearby. - Outstanding welcome, support and advice from staff, especially Chaim who went over and above on every aspect. - Lovely big rooms for a boutique hotel. - Immaculate throughout. - Great extras in room like fridge, safe, coffee machine, hairdryer, steamer and lots of cupboard space.

The only thing we would feedback was that the shower tended to flood the floor but it was a wet room so not a big issue.
