The hotel overall was clean and well presented. The rooms were more than spacious, comfortable bed and good shower/ bathroom facilities. The breakfast was continental style and more than adequate with a simple but varied choice. The hotel is located south of the river and about a 15 minute walk to the Notre Dame the closest major attraction.

We drove from the UK so we had the parking issues that you have in a major City. The hotel has no parking facilities so it cost €100 for 48 hours parking. Not the hotels fault but something to be aware of.

The breakfast was very nice. Margot checked us in and was quite polite and friendly. I'm sorry, I can't recall the name of the Vietnamese gentleman who works in the evenings, but he is lovely and helpful, too.

I slipped off the bottom step of the interior staircase one evening. I was ok. Nicholas was on duty and did not ask if I was alright or offer me any assistance to get up off of the floor. We thought him unfriendly and unhelpful overall.

We have been staying in Villa Madam for 15 years and other than a problem with old management we have always been extremely happy. The new management has kept the original great staff and put the hotel back where it belongs. Value for money you couldn’t get a better hotel. It could do with a few improvements in the bathrooms but the beds and the rooms are fabulous.

The bathrooms need some work.

Location is great. Our bedroom was nice, breakfast is good too with some healthy options available, staff was generally helpful and nice.

A little bemol: I arrived at 9 pm by taxi and on the way I called the reception to know if there was any option proposed for dinner or room service : there is no option provided by the hotel: we can just order food via apps like uber eats. When I arrived, few minutes after my call, I had few luggages, and my kid is still small (4 y old): the person behind the desk in the entrance didn't come for helping me to open the door - that was heavy - neither help for the luggages. He stay sitting behind his desk. I'm used to have a bit more of help and proactivity usually in that kind of situation.

Our stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was so cosy and homely with such friendly staff. The room was gorgeous and in such a fantastic location with lots of great restaurants near by and only a short walk from the Louvre. I’ve stayed in lots of Paris hotels and for the price this one was by far the best and even better then I expected.

I really enjoyed my stay at La Villa Madame. The hotel is beautifully decorated; my room was on the third floor and it faced the street, but it was a very quiet room. The air conditioning worked very well. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well during my stay. Everyone that I encountered at the hotel was very kind, pleasant and friendly. I loved that the hotel was so close to the intersection and that there were many eateries to choose from. Ten steps away from the front door of La Villa Madame is an Argentinian restaurant, a bistro, a boulangerie that is open until 10pm, and just one short block away was a Carrefour supermarket and a Monoprix supermarket. It's also very close to the Luxembourg gardens and an Angelina cafe (the famous hot chocolate!). There are two Metro stops within walking distance, Line 4 and Line 12. Going back to the hotel, I found it to be a lovely experience and I hope you have a chance to meet the front desk staff and kitchen/bar staff. They were very polite while I stumbled through my broken French and spoke English with me when I wasn't able to communicate in French.

I liked everything about the hotel and my stay. It's not a complaint but I think anyone would have to understand that in an older building, you will hear water rushing through pipes or doors closing. Those are normal occassions in old buildings. If you wear ear plugs at night, you won't hear those noises. The only thing I had to remind myself to do everyday was turn in my key before I left the hotel for the day. I wasn't used to that habit because in American hotels you keep your key until you check-out from the hotel. I managed to remember to turn in my key every time I left the hotel, so it was not a problem.

La Villa Madame was the perfect choice for our visit to wonderful Paris. Perfectly located in a quiet and beautiful area of the city but also close to cafes and restaurants, we were able to visit the nearby gardens and walk to the Seine to see the sights. The hotel staff were most welcoming and professional and our room was clean, comfortable and spacious.

Happily, nothing to report here.

The Villa Madame was a really nice surprise to me. It is wonderfully located in a quiet street and just besides the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg. The small lounge area, the reception and the breakfast area are super cute and colourful. All staff is great (Grace. Nicolas, Nelson, Madeleine and more)respectful and always try to find a solution if questions about itinerary, metro to take, restaurant to eat...The breakfast is good and complete in European standard (juices, croissants, breads, yogurt, various thes or coffees and eggs...). It was a genuine pleasure to stay at the hotel Villa Madame in the 6e arrondissement and hope to go back soon.

It will be nice to have a simple kettle in the room or to be able to get coffee or the in the breakfast area all day.

Great location and the rooms were nicely furnished, the staff were also very nice and willing to help you when needed, all in all a nice hotel!

There was a schoolyard right in the neighbourhood so you can hear children shouting and playing in the morning. The hotel rooms are a bit small but that is normal for Paris. The hotel does not have a parking garage, so I would recommend the Q-park parking garage which is a few 100 metres away, I was able to leave my car there for a week for 61 €. You just have to book it in advance.

Our stay was wonderful! The rooms were very well sized which for Paris is saying something. The beds were very comfortable and there was a bath and shower. It was very quintessential Paris and we loved our stay.

The only thing is that it is right next to an elementary school so there’s screaming children in the morning five days a week which isn’t great for jet lag.
