Location was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Room was exceptionally clean and well furnished. Overall the room and in particular the location (close to metros, restaurants and bars) made it a fantastic choice and a hotel I would definitely stay in again.

The only downside I would say is that the hotel is located above a night club. This was not a problem for the first night I stayed (a Thursday) as it was not open but I could hear it from my room on Friday night. Saying that though, I was in a room on the first floor, directly above the night club. Maybe on floors further up (where the majority of the rooms are located) it would not be as easily heard. Either way, I was so tired from all the walking I'd done that day that it didn't bother me too much but I thought it worth mentioning here.

Excellent location in a lively area close to everything on the Left Bank with secure (but expensive) undercover parking nearby. One narrow flight of stairs to reception. Rooms newly renovated, very clean and comfortable. My friend has a small dog who was made welcome. All the staff were helpful and pleasant. Not the hotel's fault but the bar next door is noisy so request a quiet room or wear ear plugs.

To be fair for the price it was perfect. Only negatives are the narrow entrance staircase and the bar next door which is lively until 6am Wednesday to Sunday (although I had ear plugs so slept well). My friend relocated to a quieter room so not a big problem.

The room, although small, was very nicely fitted with modern decor and was super clean! We also loved the location, it was really easy to get around. The staff was really welcoming and helpful.

We stayed over the weekend and have to admit we could hear a lot of noise from the outside - especially from Saturday to Sunday - Sunday to Monday was actually very quiet. The hotel is located on a street with many bars and people tend to drink outside and be quite noisy. The hotel kindly provided us with ear plugs.

The locations was perfect and very safe, the room was clean and updated and the beds were very comfortable.The air-conditioner worked well, the TV was small but good and the safe worked perfectly. The breakfast was just enough, included cereal, croissants, pancakes, juices, yogurt, cheeses/deli meats and there was a lady who made us eggs to order every morning...very sweet. The all-day coffee machine had so many options and we really enjoyed having a cup of coffee/tea after a long day sightseeing. The receptionists were also very friendly and helpful.

The room was very small, which is typical in Europe, but the point of going to Paris is to NOT be in your room too much except to sleep, so it didn't bother me much. The elevator starts at the 1st floor, not ground level.

The location to dining, shopping, and attractions was AWESOME. The breakfast and staff were wonderful. Very accommodating.

ANYONE with mobility issues Trendy IS NOT the place for you. The lift does not go to the ground floor and the stairs up to check-in, rooms and the lift are circular and tight. Carrying your bags is a hefty task. Other than that the only reason we are giving Trendy Hotel less than exceptional is because the room was on the small side and there were only a couple of shelves and a small hanging area for your clothes. NO real furniture to sit on other than the bed. We were there for 7 nights and dealing with clothes outta our suitcases was uncomfortable.

I like the fact that this property was European in flavor and style. Plus the guests were also European. That is a tremendous plus. Breakfast was lovely. The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean and neat.

Typical to France are the requirements to climb narrow stairs to the first floor registration desk with no lift/elevator available. For elderly people, this might be cumbersome. To add to this challenge, the family suite which has multiple beds is on the sixth floor and so another flight of stairs is required since the lift only services to the fifth floor. Again, not a problem for younger people, but might be challenging for older people. Also, be aware that there are two bars in very close proximity to the hotel. It can be noisy at times.

We were staying at the 3rd floor. It was quite noisy during the weekends because there are a lot of bars, cafes and restaurants just near the hotel. Nevertheless, on weekdays it was quite quiet. Room extremely small, but it is expectable when you live in the heart of Paris. I love Saint Germain area the most in Paris, so despite the room size I would prefer this location for all my future trips. Several metro station different lines just 4-5 minutes walk from the hotel. The breakfast was good. No much varieties, but you have all you need. The staff is beyond praises. We enjoyed our stay a lot and hope to come back.

Great little boutique Hotel which put us right in the middle of Paris where we were able to walk to the attractions we were interested in seeing. Hotel was very clean with helpful staff. Staff very helpful in holding our luggage once we had checked out so we could further walk and investigate Paris until we had to make our way back to the airport.

Not so much a didn't like but as this is a renovated hotel, I think the receptionist said it was a 17th century building, it has had an elevator installed which unfortunately when you are carrying a 24kg suitcase, only starts on the first floor (stairs from ground floor to 1st floor) and goes to floor 5. We were lucky to get upgraded to floor 6, another set of stairs. As i said, not so much a didn't like, more an inconvenience. The major dislike was the exchange rate between the EU and the AUD. (we can't blame the Hotel for that". This did make this stay pretty expensive for us in real money terms but it put us in the location we wanted.

We had a wonderful experience at Trendy Canettes Hotel. The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and major attractions. It made exploring the area incredibly convenient with a metro station just around the corner. The hotel itself is very clean and well-maintained. My room was comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail in keeping everything fresh and tidy. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was exceptionally polite, helpful, and welcoming. Their professionalism and kindness really made a difference in my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience in a great location.
