The hotel is charming and all of the staff was exceptional. The ground level, lobby, sitting area and breakfast room has all been recently renovated and are beautiful!! Bathroom in our room appeared to be renovated as well and was lovely. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Only recommendation is the furniture and drapes in our room were a bit tired and needed updating to match the rest of the hotel. Since, it’s obvious they are updating and renovating, I’m going to assume this is is on the list and hasn’t been completed yet. Location couldn’t be better. We loved this little gem of a hotel. We will be returning.

Very good breakfast (breads, eggs, cheeses, sausages, fruits, pastries, cereals, juices, coffee, tea and more). About 15 euros per person, buffet style. Great location in the city center, walking distance from everywhere we wanted to go. If you don't want to walk, then right next to the hotel there is also a metro station with which you can get anywhere and to further destinations, including Charles de Gaulle Airport. The staff was really nice and kind and spoke English. A pleasant, spacious, clean, air-conditioned room. The hotel has an elevator.

Location, location location. Hotel itself is nice , rooms are good , cleanliness and staff friendliness all good. Bed and pillow comfort great!. Overall its a great place to stay if you like exploring Paris near the Seine / Notre Dame area. I enjoyed my stay despite the big negative described below ( lift was not working and i was on 6th floor). I kept the rating high because the lift issue is temporary and other guests should not meet this inconvenience (hopefully)

The lift was not working for the whole duration of the stay. I got an email a day before and it was logistically too complicated to change hotel ( Paris hotels were full in Septmeber 22). That by itself is manageable but checking in to the hotel, i realized would be on the 6th floor !... I saw older guests of retirement age slog it out on the stairs so i just though am lucky to be younger and fit! ( mercifully the older guests were on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd floors). CONCLUSION: MAKE SURE LIFT IS WORKING BEFORE YOU BOOK. Minor note the breakfast could use some improvement

The location is unbeatable with everything you need few meters away. Extremely convenient with kids. The common areas are clean and nicely decorated. Staff is nice and helpful.

No help with luggage at arrival. The triple room was quite sad and gloomy and my dust allergies didn’t enjoy the carpet floor. We stayed only 2 nights so it was fine but couldn’t have stayed more than this. I haven’t seen other rooms so can’t judge the entire hotel but didn’t feel like a 4*. Safe didn’t work but staff suggested I use theirs.

Location , no outside noise

It really needs an update , room looks so old . Bathroom has been updated in a very cheap way , they don’t even provide shampoo , just all purpose soap . Bed is incredible uncomfortable as well as the pillows. There is no light in the steps .

Charming, well-located hotel in St. Germain! Right across the street from Cafe du Flore, Les Deux Magots, and a metro stop, and walking distance from plenty of other points of interest. A really charming neighborhood and location, felt in near everything but still felt like being in the hotel we could retreat away. Staff were friendly and politely dealt with my terrible French and were able to communicate in English.

Like many European bathrooms, the shower is not properly closed off, resulting in water getting all over the bathroom. I don't understand why this design is so common (it's not unique to this hotel at all, but still an annoyance). Room is sort of small, but normal by Paris standards. Bed was big and comfy at least.

The hotel is beautiful and accommodated our group of 3 perfectly. It is centrally located to all the wonderful cafes, with 4 cafes being directly next to the hotel! Amenities were fabulous and our room was cleaned daily. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay.

When looking at pictures of the hotel when I booked the room, I was under the impressed I was booking a room with the couch that would accommodate our 3rd person. We were actually assigned a room with 2 twin beds pushed together to make a queen bed, and then 1 rollaway cot that the 3rd guest slept on. We were fine, but pictures were a tad bit misleading!

we had a pair of rooms at the front n01, n02, which overlook Bvd St. Germain des Pres. Lots of fun to people watch. Windows have good sound proofing, so street noise not an issue when they're closed. We really like the neighborhood. Lively, good eats, but not crazy or unduly tourist saturated. about 300ft to metro.

not a complaint, but guests should remember this is a historic building. Rooms, elevator, halls are small by modern standards. If you need a lot of room to spread out, this probably isn't the place.

The location of the hotel can’t be beat-in the heart of Saint Germain and within easy walking distance to so much on the Left Bank. The property is nice and the room was very quiet. The staff were very pleasant. We did not have breakfast there. When we left, we found a taxi right outside which took us to CDG airport.

The rooms were quite small. My husband and I had the deluxe room which was pretty tight. The room had one king bed, a desk, and two chairs.

The staff were all a pleasure with which to work. We loved the location because it was kitty corner to a metro station, 3 good cafes with 50 yards and another couple within 400 yards. Hôtel has a nice breakfast option. Walk to the Louvre and to Notre Dame were just under a mile. The beautiful Luxembourg Palace is a 10 minute walk. Very nice place, not luxurious, but very nice. We thought it was a great value when comparing to other properties. We’ve been to Paris several times.

Hard to say…to nitpick, the lift is very small, but it fit the two of us and our roller bags…barely.
