This is a hidden gem! After a long rather fraught journey with little kids it was a relief to discover the hotel was perfect. Our room was 2 adjoining ones, perfect with kids. We had a very nice bottle of wine on arrival. A great nights sleep, stretching our legs in the beautiful grounds and exceptional breakfast. We would go back in a heartbeat.

It is a lovely old house, beautifully and tasteful renovated. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. The breakfast is sumptuous and of very high quality. The location is perfect - it is very peaceful but only a few minutes from the motorway. Four hours from the Tunnel. They recommend a restaurant in the village which doesn't look very promising but which serves excellent, simple food in enormous quantities. There is no choice of wine but it is excellent so who cares. I think the pricing is very fair in the current climate considering the quality of what is offered.

Beautiful location, very friendly welcome from a lovely young lady. I think we got upgraded as the room was so big and stunning. Our dog was very welcome and the grounds were amazing. Overal a wonderful suprise. Breakfast was of a very good quality & the guests who stayed at the domaine were also very nice and interesting to talk to. We would for sure come back.

What a gem of a find. This beautifully decorated chateau is typically old French in a quiet location. We were met with an English speaking owner who with is sister and mother made our stay a real delight. We could park our car by the front door with secure parking. Beautiful grounds and a donkey & goat to boot!

Beautiful secluded location, lovely building and grounds, superb breakfast, comfortable room, ideal for our one night stop on way back up France to get the ferry the next day.

The house is beautiful with a huge garden, perfectly situated for our travel further south. Very friendly family.

The local town is very modern but I would suggest heading into Le Mans for dinner.

Old, but authentic property surrounded by it's own extensive grounds. Really nice breakfast in the morning.

30 Euro's for two small dogs to stay is quite high. Booking.com should include these charges at the time of reviewing the property.

Beautiful old house with lovely grounds to walk our dog. Very nice host. Good breakfast. Comfortable room and very pleased to have a bath instead of the usual shower.

Lovely of chateau, characterful and in a quiet rural location, yet close to the motorway

The double bed had a footboard making it a little tight for a tall person

The location is great for a layover between Bordeaux and Calais. The house is characterful and quiet but the standout is the breakfast. Delicious, fresh and lots of it!

It was a bit cold - but the weather was just starting to change so maybe the heating wasn’t on yet.
