We arrived and were greeted by our host. She did not speak much English as her children were away but we understood each other well enough. The room we chose was the Safari room. It was beautifully decorated and there was so much detail in the room. It was my husband's favorite room on the trip. The wifi was great. We opted not to have breakfast as it was 14 euros per person.

We arrived late and were very tired and during check-in our host did make the mistake of double-charging us (we had already paid but were so tired we could not remember fully). The following morning we spoke to our host and she took full responsibility for it when we showed her proof. It took nearly two weeks to get a refund but we did get it.

The room was amazing, we stayed in the Safari room which was decadent and full of character. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there was plenty of room. Lots of nice little touches, like gowns, emergency sewing kit, and coffee and tea in the room. Our host was warm and welcoming. The property is an quiet wooded area but only a few minutes drive to restaurants and the tram into Le Mans.

Honestly, nothing. I wish we had time to stay for breakfast, but we had an early start and didn't want to rush.

The setting was very nice and quiet, the lady in charge was lovely but her english was limited. The room was clean and comfortable and a lot of thought had gone into the theme of the room although the theme was south american not french which we would have felt more appropriate. The continental breakfast was very nice and good value.

What a fabulous location. Access along lovely tree lined avenue. Plenty of grounds and quiet. Excellent petit dejeuner, all fresh, good selection and value, and very nice pastries.

We booked the Mekong themed room but we were not given this room even though we were the only people staying. We arrived after 21.00 and were told that we should have called even though we had said already that we would be arriving after 21.00 and an email from the hotel said arrivals ok until 22.00. The room we had was fine but it would have been better to have what we had booked. No explanation or apology was offered.

We loved the location, the character and history of the property. The host was very welcoming and accommodating. We would be happy to recommend this hotel to our friends.

We found the property difficult to find, our google map's app came in handy.

Apparently the property very nice nice location lovely owners just found the whole place of experience. Spend a lot of time on the road. I found this was a very special place and look forward to going there again.

Lovely location, the patio behind the room, let us enjoy the evening sunshine and watch the deer crossing the area in front of us.

I can't say we didn't like anything, but more a location for warmer months perhaps.

Great location and beautiful property. Beautiful rooms and great breakfasts. The lady was always very very helpful and it was a really enjoyable stay. Would be very happy to stay again.

Wonderful quiet bucolic rural retreat...staff amazing..meet the goat and donkey. Quiet, nice area to sit and walk outside Only cuckoo's and frogs for company...Amazing host and visiting son. Great people,great place.
