We stayed at O'Myosotis for a four night break. The house is 4-5mins walk into Sarlat town centre. Our host was so welcoming, and really made an effort to make our stay special. It was a really nice house with three guest rooms, so it nice and quiet. The property has a beautiful garden with a pool in a quiet spot, and is a very relaxing space. We had a lovely breakfast which the host tries to personalise for you where she cooks something different every day. You can take food and drink back to the house, and host will give you plates/ glasses. Overall, we would 100% recommend this property, it is decorated to a very high standard, it is very clean, the location is excellent (relative to Sarlat town centre), it is quiet, you will have your own parking space, and the hosts are so welcoming.

What a find: A special place to stay a few minutes walk from Sarlat and all its restaurants, markets and old town, but quiet. The hosts were exceptional: wonderful breakfast with a different offering every day, tea and coffee available in the lounge, and informative regarding local activities and restaurants. We ate breakfast outside under a giant wisteria with a view of the garden and Pool. The hotel only had 3 rooms, and we ate breakfast communally in the garden. Pool area was lovely and we had a relaxing stay. Free parking outside hotel, and given how busy Sarlat can get especially on market days, this was a bonus.

This is a place with heart. We have travelled to so many places and can’t remember being looked after as well as we were by Claudine and Patric. Nothing was too much trouble for them! From the freshly-prepared and different breakfasts each day (including homemade jams and cakes/breads) to all the recommendations and help offered. As the weather wasn’t good 😟 we enjoyed time in the summerhouse by the pool. Free car parking outside the property a bonus. Merci a C & P and les deux beaux chats pour un sejour speciale 🙏🏻

A wardrobe in the room would be nice.

A contemporary and beautiful home a stones throw away from the historical town of Sarlat. Fantastic hosts, amazing breakfast ( different each day) and Claudine is a font of knowledge of where to go and what to do whilst you are visiting the area. Utterly amazing few days there ( we extended our stay by another night). Much better experience than staying in any hotel and the quality of the room/ facilities and bed surpassed any hotel too. Superb location to explore the whole of the Dordogne area.

Claudine and Patrick are the perfect hosts and extremely attentive to their guests. Breakfasts were amazing, all home made, including Jams, compotes and cakes etc, served in beautiful surroundings. The property is beautiful, well maintained and very central to Sarlat, so only a few minutes walk into town. I travelled with my 9 year old son, with a tow bar bike rack and roof box, parking was available directly outside the property with no restrictions and Patrick kindly stored the bikes during our stay. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area, that is ‘boutique’ with attention to detail, this is the place to stay and we would definitely return! Our week long stay at O’Myosotis was superb. The house is an old property meticulously renovated by our hosts . It is all exceptionally clean with lovely , modern en suite shower rooms with rainforest showers. Our bedrooms were a generous size with lots of light and beautiful, restrained decor. The kingsize beds were amazing. Claudine provided sumptuous breakfasts including freshly home baked patisseries all served under the vines in their large and beautiful garden. We used the swimming pool almost daily and it was a delight. The essence of this very unique experience is that you are made to feel like a house guest whilst being offered a high degree of privacy. Claudine made many helpful recommendations for dinner all of which we explored and which helped us to feel more immediately at home in the town. The medieval centre of Sarlat is literally five minutes walk and we so enjoyed combining going to and from ‘home’ to town alongside all our other excursions. The free, private parking immediately outside the house was a huge bonus. Thank you Claudine for everything. We so hope to return one day . Jane and Sue

Wish we could have stayed for longer!

Everything about the accommodation was perfect which was in an excellent location. The attention to detail in the style and comfort was complimented by the hosts who were very attentive from the moment we arrived. The breakfast catered for all tastes and was very well presented. Good parking provision was also available at the property.

There were no negatives in our experience.

Claudine and Patrick have thought of everything. The garden is lovely and provides a wonderful place to enjoy a glass ,or two, of wine. I can't say enough about the wonderful breakfast that was prepared each morning. Everything is homemade and the presentation was fabulous. They have a wonderful place to stay and we would return if we came back to Sarlat

Location was just outside the old town - great for walking into the centre. Having a parking space was a bonus. The breakfasts were superb - tailored to everyone's likes and dislikes with delicious home baked cakes most mornings. The hostess was extremely helpful with local knowledge and suggestions.

Location was perfect - 5 minute walk from town; hostess and host were awesome - friendly and helpful. They suggested places to go and made restaurant reservations for us. If we return to Serlat we will definitely stay there again (and Serlat is definitely a beautiful town worth returning to.)
