we cycled from Paris (rented from freewheelingfrance.com- highly recommend their German electric bikes) mostly on cycle paths and through attractive parks which was a great way to arrive - the hotel had a locked room for the bikes which was much appreciated. Visiting Palace of Versaille meant the 10 minute walk was easy but the following day the bikes were a real bonus as we were able to cycle into the P of V park and visit the smaller palaces Location near hotel excellent for small outside bistros and close to the market

The location was excellent amidst the restaurants, bars and shops, and only a 15-minute walk to the Palace of Versailles. I was able to park the car securely behind a barrier in the courtyard, and the charge was very reasonable. Our room, in an annexe overlooking the courtyard, was quiet. We passed on the breakfast, and instead enjoyed coffee and croissants etc al fresco at a nearby boulangerie.

We didn't dislike anything, but there was no air conditioning, and opening the window allowed the mosquitos in. The hotel is, sort of, shabby chic, and facilities are not 'state of the art' but it had a certain quirky charm. There was no lift, but a member of staff carried the cases up to our room.

Lovely old hotel in the corner of a market square with lots of cafes, bars & restaurants all within walking distance. Very near to the Palace of Versailles, about a 10 minute walk. Has on site parking for a very reasonable rate, and a continental buffet breakfast each morning for an additional fee. Really clean, bed was comfy and has en-suite . Perfect stay if you like a bit of history as the building is quite old. This is our 3rd stay here and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else In Versailles.

Lovely, characterful hotel in the centre of a market square - you can't get closer to the action. The rooms were clean and fair-sized overlooking a centre courtyard so you couldn't hear any noise from the square. Parking was available in the courtyard and was secure with gates locked at night.

There's no aircon in the rooms but you are given a large fan which helped.

Central location within easy walking distance to the chateau and trains to Paris. An abundance of bars and restaurants within 2 mins walk. Rooms face into courtyard and very quiet despite a very busy scene in the adjacent market square. First stayed here over 20 years ago, not much has changed

Rooms need updating, but that would spoil the quaintness of the place.

The location is fantastic as it’s in the centre of Versailles. With parking too. The room was large. With a kettle to make hot drinks. The shower was hot and powerful. The staff were friendly and very helpful.

We didn’t take breakfast as it wasn’t included in the price of the room and there were lots of cafes nearby.

Location is excellent. Private parking was also a great advantage. Very convenient for the chateau of Versailles. An enjoyable walk to the chateau, plenty of restaurants in the square and an amazing food market.v

Access to the hotel was difficult as it was market day when we arrived but once parked no need to use the car again.

We appreciated the parking on site, the room was very quiet if a little dated, the shower was fabulous, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very pleasant. It was in a perfect location for visiting Versailles and the we're plenty if restaurants and bars within a short walk.

The room and bathroom were both quite small.

Location is perfect. Walking distance to the Chateau du Versailles and many restaurants in the square where the hotel is located. Easy walking distance to the RER station if you want to travel into the centre of Paris which is around 30mins train ride

I have not stayed in may hotels in France so maybe it is the normal practice but I found paying for parking a little bit off

Situated close to the palace about 20 minute walk. Private payable parking. Quiet and safe. Large room with two very comfortable double beds. Kettle for making hot drinks. Lots of restaurants close by.

Large windows for ventilation but air con would be better for some. Limited breakfast choice.
