Great location short walk from the train and the chateau. Breakfast was €16pp and good value, we had a 9am entry for the chateau and enjoyed early breakfast at 7:30. We had a room overlooking the courtyard at the back which was very quiet even with the window open at night. Room was small but clean with comfortable beds. The immediate neighbourhood has several lovely restaurants and not as busy as the more touristy area. The staff were very welcoming, professional and kind. Versailles is a lovely calm town we stayed there 3 nights and took the C train into Paris for the day for sightseeing which is only €5 return we would recommend staying here rather than central Paris!

The rooms are a little dated but what we expected for this price point it was value for money.

The hotel has character and charm. It has an attractive little bar with a pool table and a pretty little courtyard. There is a lift to upper floors. The comfortable room overlooked the courtyard and had a good sized bathroom. It wasn't 5 star luxury but comfortable, clean and good value. The location is in the St Louis quarter of Versailles, near the Cathedral de St Louis. Along the short walk to the palace of Versailles there are many bars, cafes and restaurants. 20 minutes walk across town there is a market and shops and there are 3 train stations. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and included.

Nothing not to like.

Great welcome on arrival, super helpful and kind regarding parking on the street in front of the hotel. The location was perfect for restaurants, shopping and visiting all the historical sights of Versailles. The immediate area was very pretty, with interesting bars and restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was extensive, delicious with excellent service. All the staff we met were very helpful and went out of their way to look after us.

only small gripe was not having a wall mirror close to an electricity socket in the bedroom.

Great location within an easy walk to the palace. Lots of great small restaurants and shops around as well as a pharmacy within 5 min if you need anything. The only slight downside was the Ac is only for summer months and it was decently warm when we were there but the room had a small fan which was more than sufficient. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

This was our second stay in a week as we used it as a stopover stay before and after visiting family. We loved it just as much the second time. Rooms are compact but comfortable and we were facing over the back so very quiet (although the ones at the front would have had a lovely view). The location was perfect. No parking but there is a parking garage nearby and you can park on the street overnight. Our adult children loved the pool table. Breakfast smelt good but we didn't have time to stop. We would definitely return.

The staff were extremely helpful before and during our stay - offering to store luggage before check-in or after leaving, happily providing extra milk for tea/coffee making and when we returned after a day at the Palace of Versailles, to claim our luggage, we were offered the use of the toilet, which we thought was really thoughtful. We asked if the staff member could fill our water bottles, and he provided 2 fresh full bottles instead. Thanks so much. The location of the hotel is approximately halfway between the Versailles Chantiers railway station and the Palace of Versailles - perfect base to explore the Palace.

We had a room on the first floor, at the back of the hotel. Beautifully quiet which we appreciated, and the beds were more comfortable than others we've stayed in across the region. Location is superb - lots of restaurants and independent shops nearby and the Palace is a very easy walk. Strongly recommend that others book dinner well in advance with local restaurants - we tried 6 that were already fully booked before we finally found success without having an advance reservation. Staff were exceptionally helpful. Internet quality was good. Is quite a long way to walk to Gare de Versailles-Château-Rive-Gauche so if you're travelling light its easy, but if you're lugging suitcases, be warned! Hotel decor and layout is quirky and dare I say quaint - a refreshing change from the modern chain hotels.

As is too often the case with the modern showers that only have a partial glass screen, water frequently sprays beyond the screen, so we wound up semi flooding the bathroom twice, thus having to use up the extra towels we had been allocated simply to mop up the walls and floor.

Great location. Friendly service and beautiful hotel. Plenty of fun things to do near by. Great museums and restaurants near the hotel.

Everything was good.

Location was good for exploring Versailles and on street parking was available ( at a cost). Room was small but nice and overlooked the street so a little noisy. Breakfast was good and all staff members were friendly and helpful ( especially the guy who checked us in, sorry can’t remember his name but he was from Spain ).

Would have preferred a room overlooking the rear courtyard

really quiet room , our room was on the garden side and we could leave the window open & enjoy the birds - excellent location near the palace , lot's of small shops & restaurants nearby , nicely decorated breakfast room & good breakfast

although it was a non smoking room , the room had a bit of a smell when we arrived so we left the window open for a while to air the room, shower gel was empty
