A 10 min walk from the station - a 4 min walk to Versailles palace - a 5 min walk to supermarket and restaurants. Did not try the breakfast in the hotel as there is a fridge and kettle we wandered each morning to the supermarket and purchased pastries and had milk in the fridge so we were able to have breakfast in our room. Each day there was a fresh bottle of filtered water in our room, which fitted into the fridge to cool down. I was able to get ice from the reception/bar each day which was great in the hot weather. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

If you had difficulties with stairs you need to be aware from the front there are two lots of stairs down to the main entrance. you can walk around the back of the building but you still have steps up and steps down. There is a back door, but you have to knock on the door to try and get reception to hear you to open it - which we tried once but no one heard us. If there was a bell on the back door it would have help.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Le Versailles. The comfort of the room was excellent — clean, spacious, and quiet, providing a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Although the selection remained the same each day, the buffet style allowed for a variety of combinations, so it was easy to enjoy something different each morning. The location of the hotel is ideal. It's about a 15-minute walk from the train station and only around 9 minutes from the Palace of Versailles. The surrounding area is full of restaurants and interesting spots to discover, making it a convenient base for visiting the city. Overall, I would definitely recommend Hotel Le Versailles for its comfort, great location, and good value.

If I had to point out one downside, it would be the condition of the hotel's facilities. Some areas appear a bit outdated and could benefit from renovation — especially the carpets, which look worn and somewhat stained. A refresh in this regard would greatly enhance the overall guest experience.

We had a very large room it had a desk, a small table, plenty of seats, a sofa bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was big, lots of space to move around and a good shower. There were shutters on the windows which were a bonus as the sun was intensely hot when we were there and they kept the room cool. The location was a very short walk to the Palais Versailles Max the ‘bar man’ was really very nice, very courteous and helpful

They don’t have a restaurant, they do a continental style breakfast but we didn’t try it so can’t give any opinion on that

The location was perfect for visiting the Palace of Versailles which was just a 5 minute walk away. The lovely friendly lady on reception gave us a complementary room upgrade and a gift of chocolate as we were celebrating a special anniversary. The breakfast was very good and with gluten free options available on request. Underground safe parking is available. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Good, reasonably priced restaurant 'Le Petit Bouillon' just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Upon arrival no one at reception...when I rang bell lady appeared and seemed very grumpy and said as I had not made reservation for car parking there wasn't any space. I was not told I needed to reserve! She just said to park in a street which was not helpful as we had a car full of stuff and needed secure location. My daughter found indigo underground carpark which was 10 mins walk from hotel so we left luggage and went to park car. Very secure car park. Also bed mattress very hard.

So close to the palace!!!!!!!! What a lovely hotel. As a single lady traveller,I felt safe and well looked after.My room was gorgeous.Huge, extremely comfortable bed.Nespresso machine,plus kettle and tea and instant coffee....and chocolates!Big modern bath and shower.Good toiletries. Didn't try the breakfast,but it smelled wonderful.Very helpful staff.Even offering me stamps to post my letter. Its a gorgeous area,with 3 very nice restaurants 2-3 minutes walk away. The train station is only a short 10-15 minutes walk. I am telling all of my friends to stay here. Merci beaucoup. X

Maybe a little dark in my room, but it added to the ambience and lovely French decor. Not a problem. Bathroom bright.

unbelievably handy location for the palace. Great size room. bed was enormous and really comfortable. all staff helpful and warm with excellent language skills. cute bar just a tiny walk down the street to sit out and have a drink looking out at the central square in front of the palace

when you arrive you might think the venue is slightly tired but actually, having then gone onto Paris you appreciate the size of the room you had. I had expected it to be looking out to the view whereas actually it was onto the central open part within the hotel grounds but all was astonishingly quiet sound wise and tranquil

Lovely hotel and very conveniently located to all the local attractions, a stones throw from some fabulous bars and restaurants and literally minutes from the palace. Beautifully decorated and lovely amenities.

Unfortunately, the car park which is used but not owned by the hotel is poorly maintained and my husband took a nasty fall resulting in a hospital visit. The staff were fantastic and contacted us after our stay to offer their apologies. Be mindful when parking under the hotel as there are some loose heavy duty panels covering pipework.

Great location - just a 5 minute stroll from the Palace of Versailles in one direction and a range of excellent restaurants in the other. Secure off-road parking. Great location yet quiet. Very enjoyable breakfast too and two bottles of water (one slightly sparkling) provided every day. Highly recommended for a trip to the amazing sights of Versailles.

The hotel is nice, the staff were all excellent. The hotel is super close to the Palace which makes starting and ending the day so much better than catching a train or boarding a bus. The parking was super easy. Great restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

Not really a complaint as it's just something that you notice, the entry to the room is painted really dark and at first it's a little disorienting but the room itself is nice and opens up nicely once past the entry way.
