The rooms were nice and clean. In the evening, we enjoyed the pool and sauna. The breakfast was good. We didn’t try dinner at the restaurant, so we can’t comment on that.

The family rooms are located in a separate building, which was not mentioned at the time of booking. The pool is in the main building, so if you are staying in the other building, it’s inconvenient to use the pool because there’s no place to change near it. Fortunately, our friends were staying in the main building, so we were able to change in their room.

Warm and friendly staff, good food, best bed ever! Completely charming 3 star hotel (but the French do this so well) set amongst the Champagne vineyards which makes it a pretty drive to get to. Quiet, peaceful and the dinner was more than we expected - it’s lovely to have a restaurant in the hotel you stay in after six hours of driving - and you must reserve a table for dinner as the restaurant here is popular.

I think the lovely lady who found a table for us at breakfast was run off her feet! Maybe they could find some help for her at such busy times.

We made a late booking - the afternoon before arrival - but were quickly checked-in and had a spacious room with window doors opening on to lawns. The wifi was great and kettle and iron with board provided. The shower and toilet were conveniently separate. As a bonus, other guests were clearly gathering for a vintage car rally and the car park was filled with lovely old models in perfect condition!

Sound proofing a not so good but tolerable.

The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and bed comfortable. The restaurant was excellent. Good food and service. My steak ( which I eat occasionally ) was delicious.

There are different levels and quite long distances the hotel and with luggage it could be difficult… so make sure you ask for a room on the same level as the parking. There was a service door next to our room which made 3 banging sounds when closing. Sound insulation from the corridors not good. Fortunately neither of these continued late into the evening. The corridors are definitely due an upgrade, but the rest of the hotel is great.

Very well run hotel, with attentive and friendly staff. The restaurant was particularly good, although a little more than we would normally pay on an overnight stay, it was worth it. Eggs, bacon and sausage, along with all the usual continental options, for breakfast was very welcome. Air conditioning in a heatwave!

While the indoor pool was a welcome bonus and well presented, I feel I should make a point about safety here. No depth markings in a pool that sloped suddenly down from about a meter to two meters over a very short distance, and quite slippery. I mention this particularly because we have previously witnessed the hazards of such a set up in the past. However, to end on a high note, we loved it!

I did not like some of the large groups staying at the hotel, who were loud and didn’t understand the French way of speaking quietly. The breakfast room was full of tgese groups making such a din it ruined breakfast for me.

Fine dinning experience if limited choice. Attentive staff, even when a large group arrived at another table. [We are used to having to pour our own wine!] Staff were friendly if distracted. Breakfast was ... okay.

We were given a room over in the 'annex' across the road! Not really so useful for dropping into the pool - one of the main reasons we pick this hotel. Also, no towels or robes were available in the pool room - so we had to go ask at reception.

The accommodation was very pleasant, the room spacious and the bed comfortable. The highlight of our stay was the restaurant. It was large and very busy but beautifully appointed. We had an amazing meal and the service was exceptional.

It was a little confusing to start when we were trying to find and access our room and the secure parking which was in a separate building to the main hotel.

arrived on a Sunday and didn't realise that an email had been sent about admittance- as staff not working on Sunday. Found email in my junk- written in french. Would have been good to get via Booking.com account. Did not know hotel would contact me directly.

The restaurant is out of this world , not cheap but worth every penny. Superb friendly staff make you feel comfortable. We didn’t have time to try any facilities as we only stayed the one night.

The breakfast room was very warm and the food was layer out well but as I went to pick something I saw that there were many flies on the food , so I just had a yogurt, then I was very disappointed with a “ vending machine” coffee .
