Excellent stay! Located in the charming small town of Villeneuve-lès-Avignon, barely 10 minutes by car from the center of Avignon, this hotel offers a calm and relaxing environment. The town itself is walkable and boasts many good restaurants, enhancing the local experience. The town has its own local landmarks, such as Fort Saint-André and the neighbouring Abbey, while remaining close to Avignon’s main historical sites such as the Palais des Papes and Pont d’Avignon. The hotel also features a nice garden with a swimming pool, providing a perfect spot for relaxation. For guests with cars, the hotel provides a secure parking lot which ensures your vehicle is safely parked during your stay. Our room was large and comfortable, equipped with a deep bathtub that made our visit to Avignon more relaxing. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful. In retrospect, staying in this town rather than in the city of Avignon itself was a far better choice, offering a more tranquil and authentic local experience. I recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting Avignon.

Charming hotel, perfectly located in pretty Villeneuve les Avignons. Lovely outdoor patio and nice pool which provided a much needed place to cool off after sightseeing.

For the price the hotel's bathroom facilities could have been better - dim lighting, tiny bottles of shower gel and shampoo (no conditioner), towels rather thin and rough

Very cute little hotel, with an excellent location close to Avignon without the madness of the city. Villeneuve les avignon itself is extremely cute, with a lot of shops and old monuments. The family running the hotel is very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable.

I would suggest to maybe improve a bit the breakfast - it was really good but some people might want a bit more diversity.

Unique, artsy decor in the hotel, very beautiful pool and garden. Great for relaxing and getting some relief from the heat. Location is wonderful, lots of lovely dining options nearby. The hotel owners/ operators were pleasant. Bedding and bath products felt high quality.

La Suite is a small family hotel in an old village located 10 minutes out of Avignon. The hotel has a wonderful garden and a nice swimming pool. The room was big and clean with all the facilities needed. The owner has all the local information ready.

The room's furniture and design were poor and so were the corridors. There is no lift for people, only for luggage. All the rooms are in the first or second floor so take into account climbing by stairs.

A great area to stay with lots of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel is lovely and comfortable. The pool was quiet and we had it to ourselves a few afternoons. Great hosts.

Breakfast is a little expensive relatively so we went to local cafés instead. Just a reminder to bring mosquito spray. We got bitten a lot on our first evening sat outside.

Our stay at Hotel la suite was perfect. We were in between two french weddings and wanted somewhere to relax, but also enjoy some good food and a little site seeing. We stayed for 6 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Stephen and Sophie were perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome. Stephen made such an effort with speaking English, and it was much better than our french. We really enjoyed the relaxed breakfasts here and also the nibbles outside early evening. The hotel is decorated beautifully and our room (C) was comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning is excellent. A lot of care and money has been spent in making this hotel so fantastic. The pool area was peaceful and the location is excellent for many small but excellent restaurants - Flo’s were excellent as well as Moulin la Huille and L’emulsion (thank you to Stephen for this recommendation). Also a perfect spot for visiting the monastery and fort. It took us a lovely 35 minute walk to get into Avignon - busy but definitely worth a visit. Wonderful shops and site seeing. Super friendly owners. Gated car park. Great area to stay in - quiet, safe, lots of good restaurants and bakeries in walking distance. Local sites very nearby too. Couldn't recommend more!

Little bit too much furniture in the rooms - reduced space for bags and was a little cluttered. That's it though!

Breakfast in the garden was delightful, gardens were beautiful and room was spacious and proprietors upgraded us to a suite. Villeneuve is a beautiful village with a gentle buzz in the centre. The hotel is perfectly placed in the historic centre . The owners and staff were very attentive without being overbearing. We also met some nice people also staying in the hotel

Nothing....a little piece of heaven

Decor, art, staff friendliness and location. Car parking also fine. The perfume of the hotel is exceptional and is the first thing you notice on entry to the reception. Even the hand sanitisers smell of lavender.

There was very little we didn't like about this hotel. It was wonderful. If I were being picky, I would say that the absence of a personnel lift, but I must emphasise that this was not an issue for us. It would only be an problem for guests with mobility issues.
