I recently started selecting accommodation not only based on location and value for money, but also considering room size. This property exceeded expectations — the room was spacious and included additional furnishings such as small tables, a kitchenette-like area, and a sofa. The room looked bright and inviting in the photos, and I was pleased to see that it matched the reality. The bed was comfortable. Although the walk to the city centre took around 15–20 minutes, the location worked well for us, as the thermal baths were just a short distance away. Visiting the baths was a great way to unwind after a full day.
Personally, I didn’t enjoy the breakfast much — most of the food was too salty or spicy for my taste, but this is a matter of personal preference.

(This is a duplicate review because we ended up staying an extra night, so had the opportunity to submit twice.) It was easy to get in. The instructions given were clear, although you have to use WhatsApp to get the code for your key card in the morning before 10am (their time), which not everyone may have, and also, take note if you have a time zone difference. I don't know what happens if you don't WhatsApp them on time! Staff were welcoming and helpful. They are not on the premises from around 11am. Even though it wasn't a huge establishment, there was a lift, which was handy for heavy luggage. Plenty of tea and coffee, creamer, a kettle. A fridge was an added bonus, so we could store our fresh food for the next day. Bed and pillows super comfy. The double glazing kept out the noise of the road when the window was shut. It was also a perfect temperature for May. No need for heating or aircon, and so I don't think we checked either. Nice big towels. Basic toiletries. Just a squeezy shampoo and a bodywash, so take your conditioner and moisturiser, if you need it. Location near Carolus Thermen was fantastic. Breakfast was ok. Very simple. A fair combination of things, such as cheese, eggs, tomatoes, bread and jam, cereals etc. Not very exciting or extensive, but enough to fill you up. Small, quiet dining area.
So much cheese for breakfast! A bit noisy outside on the main road but it did quieten down at bed time. No decaffeinated coffee (they seemed to not even have heard of it!) or decaf ordinary tea, althought there were herbal teas. No milk, only creamer, so not great in tea. It was a bit far walking from the station with our large suitcase. Should've got a cab or bus!

The hotel is at a walking distance from the city center (~ 1 Km) and the Carolus Spa (500 m). It is outside of the area that requires a car sticker. It is a small hotel ("family business" as the owners say). The building is old, but the rooms (at least the one we stayed) was exceptional. Breakfast: although the variety cannot be compared with the one of large hotels, it surpassed my expectations, given the hotel size. It was definitely good. The staff is very polite. You can usually find parking in the street (free on Sundays). The room cost was logical, compared with the average hotel costs of the area.
The automatic check-in process was a bit confusing (partially my fault, since I had received a message in WhatsApp with directions, which I did not read all). The building is a bit old and the common spaces (staircase, elevator etc.) tend to discourage you a bit, but it all changes when you enter the room.

The breakfast was excellent. In addition to the customary there were also dishes with Middle Eastern/Persian origin.
The traffic on the street outside was a bit disturbing during the night if one slept with the window open.

We stayed in apartment number 5. It had a double bed and a single. The double bed was very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a small kitchenette. Lots of plug points and the bathroom was clean and functional. Great shower and it was very quiet. We had a lovely breakfast. Would recommend.
The single bed was a bit lumpy and there was no wifi. We used our phone data instead

Breakfast was very good. the breakfast area is very nice, cosy, good variety, fresh vegetables. The room was big and clean. The sound insulation was great. Public affordable parking not far. Staff is very nice. Great location very close to the spa, a few nice restaurants not far.
The elevator is reallly small. The coffee machine is slow and doesn't have decaff option, the towels could be replaced, they have seen better days, altough they are perfectly clean. One of the beds made noises.

The bountiful breakfast is included! It's really close to the main hot springs (Carolus Thermen) not far from the center itself. The room had an electrical water kettle, tea, coffee and two TVs. Really good price/quality relation.
Didn't had a door between the main bedroom and the living room (basement room for three people). Some fixtures need adjustments (bathroom) but nothing serious.

The stay was great! The breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean. There was a bit of noise at night, but everything else was really good. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

This place has a clean and cozy atmosphere, which is a definite plus. Its excellent location adds to the appeal. Additionally, the staff is notably kind and welcoming, creating a positive experience for guests. Enhancing these aspects even further could make it an exceptional spot. 💖
