- The reception and conciergerie staff went the extra mile to address any issues and ensure we felt comfortable. Definitely the highlight of our stay, the 10 is for you, thank you! - The hotel is probably one of the best-located in Berlin. - The building is impressive.

The first room we received had mold in the shower and dust from the carpets, which was problematic for someone with allergies. Since the hotel was almost fully booked, they couldn't move us the first night. However, they upgraded us to a different (and totally cleaned) room on the second night at no extra charge, which we appreciated.

Good location to some sights, train station to and from airport is a 5 min walk down the road. Very modern and clean with plenty of toiletries, hairdryer and empty fridge, coffee and tea in room, bed very comfortable.

Checkin took long at the desk.

- The hotel boasts an excellent location with a subway station right downstairs, bus stops nearby, and plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. The Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag Building are within walking distance. - At first glance, some of the hotel’s facilities may seem slightly dated, but the rooms are stylish and modern in both decor and design. The bathroom, in particular, offers a fantastic user experience. - The hotel staff are very friendly and always ready to offer helpful travel suggestions and assist with any inquiries. - While the breakfast selection doesn’t change much from day to day, it caters well to all tastes. The breakfast staff are exceptionally warm and attentive—even with coffee machines available, they still tirelessly serve drinks. For example, when I needed an oat milk coffee, they promptly brought it over. Overall, the stay was excellent. While the price isn’t exactly cheap, it’s definitely value for money!

Location was excellent, easy from the metro U5 , the hotel prior to our arrival was very helpful with directions .. Room was superb with large windows for plenty of light and nicely decorated. Even though we were central it was reasonably quiet . We ate at the restaurant one evening and I highly recommend it, and the cake selection was amazing which we took back to our room .

The only thing in our opinion which let it down was that on 2 occasions after a day out, our room had not been made up, we came back late afternoon twice for a rest and had to call several times for housekeeping so in the end we never got to have a rest before dinner .

Such a nice surprise staying at Westin. The hotel has a great location and it is so beautiful, amazing palace lobby, with a grandiose stair. The room was very comfy, i received a free upgrade too. The bed is simply amazing. In the evening they have a live piano player at the bar that gives a great romantic vibe. Good champagne by the glass that is a nice addition to the bar as in Berlin is not easy to find that. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, cannot wait to be back in berlin, i will for sure stay there again.

The room has a fridge for minibar but it is empty so if you want anything you have to go down to the reception. Not convenient if you are relaxing in the room.

A grand hotel (as the name attests), with a majestic staircase/lobby, which can be admired from the hotel's atmospheric bar area. Recently, hotel rooms are beginning to resemble each other, regardless of the number of hotel stars, but mine at the Westin - although following this trend - stood out because it was quite spacious and had a view on the garden. Check out is at noon which gives more time for a morning stroll around the historic area where the hotel is located.

The internet was sometimes non-existent ("connected with no internet"). Breakfast was so busy that I had to sit at a table where the dirty dishes of my predecessors had not been cleared yet (and were not before I finished).

Room was a very good size, with a large and comfortable bed, and we were upgraded on check in to a garden facing room. The bathroom was also a good size with very hot water. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

When checking under the bed on leaving, we noticed that some previous guests had left some baby related items. The face flannels in the bathroom were taken and not replaced, and on one day the tissues in the room were not replenished.

Everything about the Westin Grand was amazing. We had a room upgrade and complimentary drinks, and the staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, everything you could want.

It was shame that the Wellness centre didn't have a steam room, jacuzzi or plunge pool - 3 saunas though, at varying temps. We asked for a bottle of water from the bar. Charged €12, but later found that the vending options by reception were much cheaper - it's a shame that we weren't told that at the time, but that's a minor niggle really.

Excellent location right in the heart of Berlin, east walk to all the main attractions. Located right next to the U - underground station making it very easy to catch public transport to travel further afield. It’s a beautiful grand old property very well maintain- clean, comfortable and elegant. We were very kindly upgraded to the Garden Suite which was very spacious with a large super king bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep.

The room was big, clean and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and feels very luxurious. The location is perfect, very accessible by public transport and within walking distance of some main attractions in the centre. The breakfast staff is highly attentive and pleasant.

I find the pricing of some of the hotel services unreasonably high—for example, the bar-restaurant prices were almost double those of other restaurants in the area. Also, bike rental is much more expensive than anywhere else in the city, and they only rent bikes by day (not 24 hours).
