- The reception and conciergerie staff went the extra mile to address any issues and ensure we felt comfortable. Definitely the highlight of our stay, the 10 is for you, thank you! - The hotel is probably one of the best-located in Berlin. - The building is impressive.

The first room we received had mold in the shower and dust from the carpets, which was problematic for someone with allergies. Since the hotel was almost fully booked, they couldn't move us the first night. However, they upgraded us to a different (and totally cleaned) room on the second night at no extra charge, which we appreciated.

Good location to some sights, train station to and from airport is a 5 min walk down the road. Very modern and clean with plenty of toiletries, hairdryer and empty fridge, coffee and tea in room, bed very comfortable.

Checkin took long at the desk.

Location was excellent, easy from the metro U5 , the hotel prior to our arrival was very helpful with directions .. Room was superb with large windows for plenty of light and nicely decorated. Even though we were central it was reasonably quiet . We ate at the restaurant one evening and I highly recommend it, and the cake selection was amazing which we took back to our room .

The only thing in our opinion which let it down was that on 2 occasions after a day out, our room had not been made up, we came back late afternoon twice for a rest and had to call several times for housekeeping so in the end we never got to have a rest before dinner .

Such a nice surprise staying at Westin. The hotel has a great location and it is so beautiful, amazing palace lobby, with a grandiose stair. The room was very comfy, i received a free upgrade too. The bed is simply amazing. In the evening they have a live piano player at the bar that gives a great romantic vibe. Good champagne by the glass that is a nice addition to the bar as in Berlin is not easy to find that. Very friendly staff, nice breakfast, cannot wait to be back in berlin, i will for sure stay there again.

The room has a fridge for minibar but it is empty so if you want anything you have to go down to the reception. Not convenient if you are relaxing in the room.

Excellent location right in the heart of Berlin, east walk to all the main attractions. Located right next to the U - underground station making it very easy to catch public transport to travel further afield. It’s a beautiful grand old property very well maintain- clean, comfortable and elegant. We were very kindly upgraded to the Garden Suite which was very spacious with a large super king bed and a double sofa bed in the lounge area. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable ensuring a great nights sleep.

The room was big, clean and quiet. The hotel is beautiful and feels very luxurious. The location is perfect, very accessible by public transport and within walking distance of some main attractions in the centre. The breakfast staff is highly attentive and pleasant.

I find the pricing of some of the hotel services unreasonably high—for example, the bar-restaurant prices were almost double those of other restaurants in the area. Also, bike rental is much more expensive than anywhere else in the city, and they only rent bikes by day (not 24 hours).

The hotel is beautiful - the lobby and atrium area are stunning and the room was really lovely, the bed was extremely comfortable and the cocktails we had in the bar were great too. It is ideally located for exploring the sites around Berlin.

The only negatives we found where the gym - it wasn't easy to find as the wellness area is mainly a spa and sauna so great if you are looking to use them but not if you want a little workout. The breakfast was nice but at 34 euros each we thought it was quite pricey for what you got and the cocktails were lovely but the bar service was not so friendly - we didn't know it was table service and were spoken to a little rudely by two members of the team when approaching the bar and placing an order.

The location was great. Easy access from the train station to various other locations on foot. The staffs were friendly and helpful especially the dining staffs. Breakfast was great too, we had quite a few options to choose from the buffet.

The weather outside was sweltering, so we expected our room to be a cool oasis. However, the air conditioning felt more like a fan, and the temperature control wouldn’t go below 5 degrees, which was far from ideal. We had to request a room change because the air conditioning in our first room wasn’t functioning properly. Unfortunately, our second room wasn’t much better—I woke up several times at night, drenched in sweat. Our experience with housekeeping was also less than satisfactory. The bedsheet had stains, and despite requesting a change, nothing happened. Crumbs on the floor and table remained untouched throughout the entire week of our stay.

The room was spacious which is always a bonus. The bed and linen were very comfortable. The location was ideal for visiting restaurants, shops and the historical sites although I was visiting for the Euros. It was very easy to hail taxis and to use public transport. All staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful.

I was in Germany for nearly one month and do find the breakfast selections at all of the hotels where I stayed to be somewhat similar. However that is not specifically a criticism of the Westin. Staff in the breakfast dining room were very helpful.

Excellent location. Very tasty breakfast. Great breakfast selection. Staff is mostly very friendly, except the person who barks how minutes are left when you arrive for breakfast. Very friendly baggage person. Hotel looks great inside and outside.

The staff at breakfast is partially excellent and partially not. Don't appreciate the person barking how many minutes are left when I enter the breakfast room or giving me what is clearly the wrong omelette and then acting as if it was my fault.
