The location is just perfect. U2 and U5 metro stations are just 5mins. For these who want to explore Berlin on foot - Berliner Dom is 5-7mins, Alexanderplatz or Brandenburger Tor just 15mins. A lot of running posibilities around. So the location is perfect. Hotel itself is nice, but nothing spectacular. Room was just fine, personell polite and helpful. Breakfast was kinda ok (you can make an argument that the variety was a bit poor, but in general it was just fine).

I would have better expectations for the gym :-) I wouldn't call that room a gym (full room is visible in the attached photo).

The hotel is located several minutes away from U5 Museumsinsel Metro Stop. The location is good, walking distance to Alexanderplatz. The room was spacious. The shower was huge and very convenient. It was always cleaned very well.

The staff was very cold. They never greeted their guests. When we arrived, it took two minutes for the staff to even notice us standing in front of them . They took 50€ as a deposit and didn’t provide a receipt for that. We felt very unwelcome. We booked a room with two twin beds, and I wrote them several days later reminding to provide two twin beds, they replied with - we can’t promise that. Then why would you have an option of a room with twin beds in the first place. There was a small kitchen in a room with a sink and electric stove. But there were no utensils to use. That was weird.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had questions before my arrival and they answered very promptly. I loved the huge window in the room (my little daughter enjoyed it as well). I loved the fact that there was a bathtub in the bathroom, not just a shower. The room and the hotel were clean. All in all it was a great experience. Breakfast was pretty great because you had a lot of options, a large variety of fruits, sweets, cereals and other breakfast food available. It was nice and tasty.

The eating area was pretty crowded at the time that we decided to eat and even though there were 2 baby seats available, apparently they weren't enough. There were more than two children in need of them 😅

I reserved two rooms, one for my wife and myself and one for my daughter. Arcotel confused the two on check-in and checkout, even insisting that we had checked out a day early when our daughter had done so. But after a while, they got everything sorted out. (Lesson learned: don't book two rooms at the same time; book them separately. This is true for any hotel.) The hotel bar was slow and staffed by one beleaguered person with other duties.

We really liked this place. The location is excellent, you are in the city center, well connected to every spot of the city, but it's very peaceful and you can rest after a long day. The bed is super comfortable, and the provided morning coffee was a great addition. Also, it's very clean.

There is a kitchen, but it lacks absolutely everything - no utensils, plates, dish detergent, making it practically useless.

I travelled to Berlin with my son for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff at the reception was very kind and accommodating. Our room was easily switched to a room with two single beds. The rooms look great, just like in the photos. Lovely breakfast buffet. The hotel was very clean. The location was great, just around the corner from Museumsinsel (museum island) and Gendarmenmarkt. The hop-on-hop-off bus stop is just down the road (handy for tourists) and public transport options are close by.

I think the lobby/bar look a bit uninviting, which is a shame compared to how nice the rooms look. When I ordered a glass of house wine at the bar, the bartender charged me €11. The next day I checked the menu and turns out the bartender poured the most expensive white wine he had, which I thought was not very kind.

I was very comfortable here. I slept very well. My room was spacious and it had multiple mirrors. The warm light in the bathroom was fun. The staff were lovely and make great effort to communicate in their second or likely third or fourth language. I requested an iron and ironing board and they were delivered to my room without charge. I was also given extra tea bags when I asked for them.

I'd never had so much difficulty operating a kettle in my life. There was no 'big light' in the room, meaning I had to turn on two to light the space evenly. There was some hidden dirt in my room like a little dust high up, some grime on the underside of the bathroom sink surface edge, and somebody else's sock left in a cupboard.

The hotel is located away from the busy area of Alexanderplatz but is still within a short walking distance to the TV Tower. Museum Island/Cathedral is also close by. Unter Den Linden is also minutes away from the hotel. The room was located on the 5th floor with a view of the quiet courtyard at the back. It was super clean and bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was average compared with other places. However there was a good selection of non hot items such as cold meat ,bread and cereals. Watch out for the big arm chair feet in your room. They stick out a bit and can be an ankle breaker!!

We had a very enjoyable stay in this lovely hotel. The room was quite large with comfortable beds, good blackout curtains for a good sleep and a huge shower area. The location is a short distance from all the main sights and very close to public transport. The bus stop is just outside the hotel and two metro stations less than 10 mins walk will connect you to all places of attraction. The breakfast was good and had a large variety and Im glad we opted for it in our booking. Thanks a lot to the hotel staff for packing us a hearty breakfast when we had to check-out really early to catch our train. Highly recommended

The hotel is very comfortable and situated close to the main tourist sights. The staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and I had an excellent dinner there too.

Unusually for a hotel in Western Europe, there was no ceiling smoke detector in the room. There was no bolt on the bedroom door or spy hole. The top bed sheet had brown marks on it.
