Overall good experience. Great location at walking distance to the key sightseeing places. Small but rather comfy room with bath. Own spacy parking with relatively fair cost considering the location - 20 EUR per 24 hrs. Worth taking the breakfast if you are travelling with kids. Not only because of the varieties but cost-wise as well. For example, a family with two kids (2 adults + 2 kids) will pay : 4 EUR per kid + 27 EUR per adult = 62 EUR. Yeah, not too cheap, but again, trying to find a better one in this area could be a challenge.

Nothing major to mention except the air conditioning system in the room, which way working (or not working at all) was odd. Considering all parameters together - definitely one of the high priority places to stay for a short period.

The breakfast was really good with a lot of different foods.Another thing i liked was the customer service ,they welcomed us with some gifts for our children.They were nice and very helpful when we asked for things.

It wasnt near the metro,a little bit difficult to manage to go out and visit sites.We only moved by taxi.In the room i would like to have shelves to put the clothes,and the room a little bit small for 4 persons.And the temperature at night was so high it seemed you had no air in the room.The second night we slept with the opened window.

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of variety. The safe worked very easily. The umbrellas were handy.

For the price of this hotel and a request for two beds, Novotel Berlin should be able to provide more than a pullout couch as a second bed. Even a cheap hotel will offer two twin or two queen size beds. When we requested two beds, at no point were we informed that one bed would be a pullout couch. Very disappointed. Housekeeping could use a bit of education on customer service. We had to ask the desk for extra coffee each night, and one night we had to get towels and Kleenex from the front desk.

The hotel was located in a fantastic location and within walking distance of many of the fantastic historical sites Berlin has to offer. The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The selection of food at breakfast was great, so I would recommend taking the breakfast option if you choose to stay here.

If I had to pick up on anything, I would say the evening restaurant menu could have a little more options. We only ate in the restaurant one night, but the food we did have was really nice.

The staff were great throughout ensuring that the guests were comfortable and were getting a great service. At breakfast time all the staff were great but Diane ( hopefully spelling is correct) was exceptional going the extra mile to ensure the runners before and after the marathon were okay. Congratulating us. I even got a bouquet of flowers at my breakfast table congratulating me for completing the Berlin marathon. The bed was comfortable, hotel within walking distance to monuments and museums and the U( underground) Would stay again. Stayed from 26th September to 3rd October. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Central location (really a big plus), hotel looks new, clean, breakfast was great. Enough parking places

Communication by staff re parking could really be improved. In the end, you can just enter the parking with your car. When there’s space it lets you in and when it’s full it’s full. Hotel has no role in this, you can’t reserve a place, you only pay in the hotel. Took me 3 emails and two days to get this cleared up. How difficult is it to explain in the booking ad or via email? Really.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable, and the room itself felt cozy and welcoming. The location was also perfect — close to the city center and all the main museums, which made it easy for us to explore. Thank you for a great experience!

There was no laundry facility available at the hotel, which would have been convenient. At night, we could also hear some noise from the hallways due to poor sound insulation.

The fantastic help of Johannes, front desk, during our stay there. Regarding the hotel their availability to receive families (rooms by four persons), and their fantastic location, very near to the subway and interesting places.

The room assigned to us required a deep cleaning of their carpet, or replace their carpet. Under and behind the furnitures need to pass the aspirator. We arrived two hours before the check inn, the first receptionist (he) that receive us didn’t help us delivering soon our room, I can understand the unavailability of rooms, however he also didn’t help to save our luggage to take a lunch with our daughters.

Our room was quite large by German standards. It was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. There is a bus stop close by, but it only serves one route. We paid extra for breakfast which was great. Very large buffet. Most items stayed the same, but there was some variation from day to day. There's also a small kids play area in the lobby, which was nice for when the adults had a drink in the bar area.

Parking is an extra 20 Euro a day. The garage is only 1.9m high and it wouldn't fit our camper van. We managed to get some street parking just behind the hotel, it was about 40 Euro a day, but Sunday is free.

We used the hotel just for sleeping and bathroom. As we did not use restaurant, it is hard to tell about the food. People on reception were eager to help us during the stay, especially on check-in. The location was awesome. We were able to reach the main destinations on foot and the others by public transportation. The room was large enough for a family of 3, one of which is a 3-year-old child. Safe is a good detail for ones leaving valuables in the room. Overall rating is great.

There was not enough space in wardrobe to unpack stuff out of our luggage, so be prepared accordingly. While there was a plug socket on one side of the bed, it was not possible to reach the electricity on the other side. One must use sockets at the desk side for electricity.
