Everything - from breakfast to cleanliness, amenities in the room, cool art all around, ideal location and brilliant staff at all departments. Sauna and gym were available at no extra charge, and we could even rent out bikes! Beds extremely comfortable, and Kevin Murphy shower gel & body lotion had a great smell. We stayed for 5 nights and truly felt we didn't want to leave. We will surely be back for another royal stay!

During breakfast times, the coffee machine often malfunctioned. The staff handled it very well and prepared coffee in the Bar for anyone who asked, but it resulted in long waiting times for coffee. Both the coffee from the machine (when it worked) and from the Bar were very tasty, but perhaps the machine should be replaced or repaired in order to avoid the unnecessary stress.

Nice size room and bathroom. Great location - near a U Bahn station and bus stop.

The floor in the bathroom creaked when standing on it.

Everything! The staff were very professional, very approachable, very 'smiley' and very happy to help, The room was clean, comfortable bed. I liked the eco option of not requiring housekeeping every morning and in lieu of that were items from the fridge of goodies in reception, free of charge! The bar area very nice. Great sauna, gym facilities with chilled complimentary bottled water. Very near the Ubahn station. Great nearby restaurants.

Breakfast a little expensive at €20 per head, we ate at the cafe on the corner. The reception for UK TV stations was poor. However we'd definitely return and recommend to friends

Awesome breakfast and great peaceful location in the heart of the city, can fully reccommend! Staff was very friendly and the hotel itself is beautiful. Room was well equipped and bed was comfortable.

Electricity switch in our hotel room was a bit tricky, if the entrance switch was not in certain position, the lights were flashing in the bathroom and the hairdryer did not work. Gladly, we got help from the staff quite fast and they pointed out the problem we had. The room air was not that great either, but it helped when opening window and/or putting the AC on.

Everything. We thought this hotel was fantastic! From check in to check out we had no issues whatsoever. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional at all times. The two girls behind the bar who served us over our three days, in particular, we're brilliant. They offered a superb service and deserve recognition for their hard work. The hotel is located a few yards from the underground and is also in easy walking distance of all the popular locations; Alexanderplatz 20 mins, Brandenberg Gate 35 mins. The hotel is spotlessly clean. Our room was immaculate and very quiet. The bed was an actual double rather than two singles pushed together, it was also very comfy. We didn't use the gym or dining room so cannot comment. If we do visit Berlin again we will stay here, it is faultless. Thanks to all the staff more your efforts and making our stay enjoyable.

I really liked this hotel - it looked nice from the photos, but was a lot fancier in a real-life. The room was really big and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. Free toiletries were provided which was great as I flew with only hand luggage and the silly liquid allowances that come with it. The free toiletries were from an upmarket brand and they were big bottles - not the tiny little bottles most hotels provide and this was really useful. The shower was huge, with good water pressure and really hot water. The room was really clean. The location was great - I primarily came to Berlin to visit museums, and it's about a 5-10 minute walk from museum island. It felt very safe walking round on my own at night. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.

My room was on the first floor which wasn't very high up, and it directly faced out onto a bus stop. This meant that I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time to maintain privacy. A room higher up wouldnt have had this issue, but I appreciate there have to be rooms on the first floor and it wasn't a big issue. There were a couple of nights where the hallway my room was off smelled like weed which was quite off-putting, but to be fair to the hotel I think that was the guest in the room opposite me and not much they could do about it.

This is a good hotel with an excellent location next to a subway station, nice restaurants and the Museum Island. We got a free upgrade to a room looking into the patio and enjoyed the extra space. The bathroom amenities were really nice. Staff was generally nice. I would highlight the kind service from the crew working the breakfast shift in the restaurant!

The noise situation was a bit bothersome. Loud tenants from other buildings nearby made for extra early morning rises--but its understandable the hotel can't do much about this. On the last two days though there was a constant buzzing sound which I shared with the lobby staff so hopefully they can figure what was causing that. Breakfast had a varied offer and as stated above, the staff was great, but it could benefit from more constant refreshing of the food. In my humble opinion, the price to rent out hotel bikes was a bit too high.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at art'otel, and I can confidently say it exceeded my expectations in every way. I was impressed with the elegant decor and attention to detail. The bed was incredibly comfortable, featuring high-quality linens that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The staff was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and eager to help with any requests. The front desk team greeted me with a warm smile upon arrival and provided great recommendations for local attractions. Also, the hotel is located just steps away from a metro station and there is an excellent breakfast. I would totally recommend to include it at your stay.

Very convenient with public transport - U-subway station is a stone's throw away and there's a bus terminal for 2 bus services just across the road from the hotel entrance. Staff were very friendly and helpful in giving suggestions and patient in answering our queries. We were also shown the historic part of the hotel with the beautiful painted ceiling. The hotel indeed lives up to its namesake.

The room size is on the modest side and the hotel being small has limited dining options.

This was a lovely hotel in a lovely quiet location but within easy reach of many busy areas. The U Bahn station Markisches Museum is right beside the hotel serving the U2 line, which intersects with other U Bahn and S Bahn routes to all of the main areas in Berlin, including the Airport and Potsdam (for most of your journeys you will change at Alexanderplatz). The room was lovely, the beds were comfortable and the staff were all pleasant, courteous and helpful without exception. The hotel bar is lovely although it didn’t seem to get too many customers while we were there (bar prices are a bit dear). There is a lovely cafe, a nice German bar and also an Italian restaurant all located less than five minutes walk away. The Weingrun German restaurant is about ten minutes along the waterfront and the food there is very nice.

Hotel bar prices a bit steep but that was a minor issue.
