Brilliant hotel, very clean, staff friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom very big with large bath. Great location. Really happy with our stay here and would recommend. Travelled with baby, cot was a great size, clean and comfortable, also got given a kettle for our room when we asked for one for our babys bottles. Was a bit concerned about the air-con after reading reviews but we stayed when it was very warm weather up to 29 degrees and we had no issues at all with the temperature of our room, it was perfect for us and our baby who slept well every night.

Only negative thing about this hotel is the pillows, they are flat, need replacing.

The location is excellent - just steps away from the U-Bahn. The staff were absolutely fantastic! We had requested a baby cot in advance, and it was already set up in our room when we arrived, complete with the cutest bedding that our little girl adored. We originally booked a deluxe room, but when a minor technical issue occurred, the hotel staff responded immediately. Since the issue couldn’t be resolved, they upgraded us to a more spacious junior suite at no extra cost. Their professionalism and kindness were truly impressive, and every member of the team was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was also a highlight: a wide variety of options and something new to try each morning. I wholeheartedly recommend COSMO Hotel - if we return to Berlin, we’ll definitely be staying here again.

Great location. able to walk to all major tourist sites.lots of choice of bars, cafes & restaurants quite close. Room very comfortable, comfy bed & nice bathroom. Reception staff friendly & helpful.

The six days we were there the hotel was very busy and there were not enough staff serving at breakfast. They were rushed off their feet and could not provide the service we usually get. [Why don't you at least install coffee machines for guests to use to ease things for the staff?] For the six days only one of the two lifts was working so there was lots of waiting and inconvenience, especially for guests like us staying on the higher floors.

Love staying at the COSMO when I am in Berlin for Berlinale. U-bahn stop is right across the street, and then 4 u-bahn stops to Potsdamer Platz where the festival primarily is located. There a few good restaurants nearby, but this is not a busy commercial area with bars and restaurants. You have to venture further to get that. The breakfast is amazingly good and plentiful for 22 euros. The small fitness room is adequate.

The commercial activity around the hotel is minimal -- most residential. There are spots you can walk to, but mostly you have to take public transport or uber to find. The hotel is very quite, if you're use to going down to the lobby bar for a drink and mingling, that doesn't really happen. No one is every there. The small fitness room could use some updating. Some of the machines could be replaced with better equipment.

The location was excellent, with most of the attractions within walking distance.The staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and tidy, we were in room 611 with lovely view out of the large Windows. Bed large and comfortable, with blinds and curtains at the windows to block any light, hence had a good sleep.We enjoyed the continental breakfast, plenty to choose from plus you could order any type of egg. Tea or coffee available. We didn't have any coffee making facilities in room but that didn't matter at all. Cold water with lemon available on the table in reception.

The safe didn't work in the room, called reception and they sent someone up . Didn't speak English, that was no problem . We understood when he said it's kapwt 😀

Very clean and modern hotel in a decent location for accessing central Berlin via the U-Bahn (5 min walk to the station). Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Breakfast had a lot of options - meat, eggs, fruit, pastries, tea, coffee, juices and salads - and was always stocked up well. Staff were pleasant, very helpful and spoke excellent English.

Controls for the AC were broken so couldn't adjust, but it was warm when we stayed so we kept the AC on anyway. Only one lift was working so had to wait a long time to get to our room on 7th floor. Other than that, no complaints!

Had a great little break here. Good location, Spittelmarkt tube station is 30 seconds walk away connecting you to the rest of the city. Staff were really friendly and approachable. Breakfast is simple with some cereals and cold cuts of meat, variety of pastries/breads and hot/cold drinks. You can order eggs on the side with a range of toppings. Nice room layout - spacious with nice balcony overseeing the city.

The room was a bit on the warmer side and we couldn't work out how to cool it down other than opening the patio doors. There isn't any tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms either which is a bit disappointing.

We had a fantastic stay at this nice and premium hotel, and rooms were large and really nice. The breakfast was great, with attentive staff who personally asked guests how they would like their eggs and coffee prepared—something we really appreciated. In our case, breakfast was included, making the experience even better. Initially, we encountered an issue with the bed in our original room, but thanks to the outstanding service from the concierge, Cristobal, we were promptly given a new room. Not only was it a nicer room, but it was also conveniently located on the same floor as the gym. The location of the hotel is perfect, with the Spittelmarkt station literally across the street, making it incredibly easy to explore Berlin via the underground rail. The hotel is nice and quiet. Away from the noise of the loud Alexanderplatz area, but direct line away, on the river Spree. The staff throughout our stay were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if we return to Berlin. On check out there was a national strike and no underground trains operated and all our taxi apps were going crazy. Luckily the hotel staff helped us get a taxi in minutes.

We gave this hotel a solid 9/10—just shy of a 10. While our stay was excellent, there were a few minor maintenance issues that could use attention. Our initial room had a bed issue, which was promptly resolved thanks to the exceptional service from concierge Cristobal, who upgraded us to an even better room. However, small details like minor chips, wear and tear on mirrors and fixtures, ensuring shower doors are properly raised to prevent scratching the tiles, and making sure all light fixtures work (such as our desk lamp, which wasn’t functional—though, to be fair, we forgot to report it since we didn’t end up using the desk) could improve the overall experience. That said, even in premium hotels like this one, such minor maintenance issues occur and are easily fixable.

The hotel is in a very central location, close to transport links. The rooms are spacious enough, and we enjoyed the view of plane trees from our window. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served in a spacious and airy dining area. There is a good variety of options, and it's nice that the omelets are made to order. Another plus is that the coffee selections are also prepared upon request.

It would have been nice if the room had a toothbrush kit, a kettle, and some tea or coffee.
