Superb location, right next to both Jannowirzebrücke S & U-bahn connections which is conveniently only 15 minutes away from Berlin Hautbanhof. The room itself makes good use of the available space. Starting with the bed: a medium-firm mattress with a choice of pillows, suited to your liking available through a so called “pillow bar”. There is a selection of lighting options available whether side, table or main lights all of which are dimmable.

The bathroom was the only downside. Firstly, the extractor fan did not seem to work, making the mirror unusable if you wanted to shower in a water temperature anything above lukewarm. Secondly, the toilet seriously lacked flushing power regardless which flush option you used. Lastly, the A/C seemed faulty - even with the window closed.

Everything was very clean and the room was ok for a couple! The location is also convenient for getting around the city! There’s a u bahn (metro) station and a bus stop nearby. Checking in was very smooth as well

There’s only one thing. There is a hair dryer in the room but the last night it went missing! I guess the cleaning lady took it for another room. When I went on the reception to ask for another one ( it was late at night) they said that tomorrow another one will be delivered to my room. This is not very convenient as I had to wait for my hair to dry on their own..

Nice large room and bathroom (801). Stayed for a week and the room was very quiet - never heard a thing from other residents. Bed very comfortable, though very high to get into. Excellent shower. Good access to transport (not far from S & U Bahn). Availability of launderette facilities (important for long trips).Shaver socket in bathroom.

No decaf coffee available at breakfast. I had to bring my own, though decaf coffee pods available in room. Often no cutlery at breakfast. Foods slow at being replenished. The lighting in bedroom was designed by an idiot: main light cluster not shaded so it gets in your eyes - also cannot be switched off from bedside. Subsidiary lights fairly useless (e.g. low bedside light no use for reading etc.). Bathroom lights make shaving really difficult because your face is in shade! Simpler on/off conrtrols + separate dimmer would be helpful. On our last day the coffee machine was removed from our room and we had to ask for it to be replaced -all a bit random.

Location was great. Staff friendly. A cool industrial / funky vibe.

Air con in the room was okish but didn’t get particularly cold and we couldn’t have the window open as it was directly on the busy road. The lighting in the room wasn’t great.

Great hotel, lots of hang out spots and the staff is exceptional. Breakfast is good and has a wide variety to choose from. We had dinner once and it was delicious. Room was very clean, filled with all kinds of goodies to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

There isnt really anything we didnt like. The only thing that could be better is the air conditioning. They use climate control. Since its been very hot and the window doesnt open completely, it was very hard for our room to cool down.

Excellent location close to the city centre, with good connection to airport and central station. Industry-style interior. Room was almost brand new. Good bed (though mattress may be considered hard by some people) Room equipped with usable working table and water cooker. Water bottles were supplied every day. Bathroom sufficiently large, but not fully barrier free - a step to be taken into the bathroom. Air condition worked well, rooms are calm even when facing the street. Self check-in, but support personnel on site. Cold drinks and snacks avaliable at the lobby.

Only two elevators are a bit underdimensioned during peak times. Storage and space for clothes and a suitcase in the room are very limited.

The staff was amazing. Super friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar were also excellent and exceeded my expectations. Room was very comfortable. The place was squeaky clean and housekeeping did a great job, no matter how late I got out of my room.

I wish there was a refrigerator in the room. At first I was surprised and a little uncomfortable that it seemed everyone else there was aged 20-25. At 60, I felt like the old man in the place (because I was!). However, over my stay I saw several other guests who were older like me. The majority definitely skewed younger, so if you feel out of place in a young crowd, this might not be the place for you.

This was my second stay at the Social Hub and it will definitely be my choice for future trips to Berlin. Dynamic rooms and common areas, perfect location, and helpful staff make it a great place to stay.

The room we originally booked had an issue with the shower; the water pressure dropped significantly when using warm water, making it very difficult to take a proper shower. Since it was Sunday, we were told to wait until the next day. Unfortunately, the same answer was given on Monday as well. After we insisted, one of the kind reception attendants offered to change our room, and that solved the problem. We truly appreciated their help, but we do wish the room had been checked more carefully before our arrival.

The hotel is in an ideal location - direct line from the airport (and also to the Olympic stadium, if you're going for Lollapalooza). The room was very clean, had AC and nice bodywash etc. in the shower. The bed was also very comfy and the curtains completely blocked out all light for a comfortable sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

Be careful of messages from the hotel, sent through booking.com, giving you the option to check in online. I did this for convenience, had to add card details (ostensibly for any extra charges incurred during my stay) and later received an email receipt letting me know I'd been charged for the room... after having already paid through booking.com. Lots of contradictory messages from the hotel while attempting to resolve the double payment, but it was eventually sorted.

Getting here was super easy. We took a single metro line from the airport and arrived in 40 minutes. Alexanderplatz is also within walking distance. There are plenty of fun attractions for young people. Because of features like self check-in you don’t interact with the staff much, but when you do they’re all very friendly.

On the downside, the shower area is a bit small—nothing major, just a little tight—and since there’s no threshold, the whole bathroom can get wet after a shower. I couldn’t quite tell whether the towels were changed daily; they didn’t take the used ones, yet they left one new towel. Aside from these minor hiccups, the place is top-notch.
