The room is very clean. The storage space is big enough to fit our baggage. Hostel provides shower gel and hair dryer.

Hostel staff made a mistake while trying to help us switching rooms. Initially, we booked 4 bed in a 6-bed room with private bath and 1 bed in a 6-bed room with shared bath. The staff told me he could help put all of us in a 6-bed room with private bath. However, he made a mistake, so we all stayed in a room with shared bath. I feedbacked to his night shift colleague, but they didn't want to help us and kept saying they were not the one who did it. It was not their fault. I believe there is room to improve their service. However, the room is quite nice and clean. I'd still recommend this hostel to my friends.

The hostel Singer109 itself is a piece of art . Incredible architecture and decoration . Plenty of recommendations for tourists in a very convenient form , in particular the small cards , to make sure guests get the greatest experience in berlin and do not miss anything the city has to offer . This establishment obviously cares about the environment and is actively involved in a project in Sumatra Indonesia , love that. Last but not least: the personal provided great service and kept their calm and friendliness although there had been an issue with the reservation initially. Really from far , the best experience that i ever had in a hostel around Europe , on every level: super clean room and bathroom , one almost feels like being in a hotel . All that because everything is done so thoughtfully and made with a lot of heart . And that for 19,19€ the night. Go check for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

excellent location for the East of the city with good transport links. Staff very helpful and availibilty of breakfast appreciated on a daily basis.

inner rooms suffer from stuffiness in warmer weather. Little through breeze and it was too noisy to open windows at night due to other guests. Hostel does say it has a 10pm curfew for 'noise' but this was not enforced so sound from the bar/other guests travelled to our room on the 3rd floor. Unsure how this could be addressed without draconian measures which is unfair on other guests. Just to be aware that your sleep will be disturbed in warmer weather.

It’s a nice hostel for a short stay. Great location next to the city center but not exactly in it. There’re train and tram stations around 5 mins walk from the hostel. The check-in process was smooth. The room was nice and spacious

The room was a bit chilly for my liking. The toilet could’ve been cleaner — there was spiderwebs on the ceiling. Also, there’s a basketball court next to the hostel and you can hear the children playing there. None of those actually affected my stay but might be useful information for others.

Staff were amazing and super hospitable, with heaps of local knowlege to offer. Beds were comfy and lockers spacious. Padlocks to secure your luggage were only a €5 Deposit with no extra fee. Power outlets next to all the beds and a little shelf to hold your wallet/ phone.

Big place, clean. Each dorm room has toilet shower and kitchen. Close to Alexander platz by walk. Coffee and breakfast are nice.

Mainly it's a good hostel but they take advantage of it and up a bed price from 32 to random higher price to the crazy 83euro for a dorm bed. I had to leave the next day (before my flight) to find a reasonable hostel price. They say because of "Demend" but if you stay a few days you can't relax unfortunately. Never seen hostel raising prices so drastically on a Wednesday ..

The staff was very friendly and helpful, despite some initial problems with payment, they remained patient and professional. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and the hostel is in a really great location, close to my needs.

Everything was fine except for the pillows. I'm not sure if they were made of sponge or foam, but they were uncomfortable and made it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep. Perhaps it's just my personal preference, but it's worth considering. They might be suitable for back sleepers, but for any other position, they felt too lightweight.

Common facilities, eg Bar, seating area, breakfast area, all excellent. Big storage area (key from Reception) and. took a photo of my rucksack as I left it there. Also a big kitchen which I didn't step inside - was of commercial catering proportions. The inner courtyard is georgous. Long corridors with rooms off. Ultra modern. Bathroom was so clean also. You can request a hair dryer. Towels are a non refundable €5. Breakfast is cold meats and cheese but generous for €6. There is a lovely glass lift to take you upstairs. Long wardrobe size lockers, though may be narrow for large suitcases or rucksacks. Little wooded box shelf and look ght and charging ports at head level above bed. I found getting there difficult as streets don't always have the logic I'm used to. . Several stations (Bahns) 12-17 mns distance. S9 from Brandenburg gets you to Jannowitzbrucke which is what I used mostly. Found the staff helpful, friendly and warm. I was travelling alone this time and despite many couples and groups had some conversations. So bring a towel and a padlock .. always useful now.

No cosy nook to watch a TV. There was a TV in my 6 bed dorm but didn't get to actually find an operative channel. Mattress is hard and pillow is an amorphous lumpy blob but beds are made up in freshly laundered white Stayed 2 nights; 6 bed was full by 11pm. Weekend prices can soar .. there are cheaper Hostels about, equally good.

Quiet location, good people, the best bar, clean and the best hostel you can go to in Berlin. Bathrooms were clean and good.

The rooms were clean enough but i would like a lock for each person ( i had a lot of money and some pricey things with me), also some rooms that people could get in up to 12 am and get out at 7am as there were a lot of people getting in and out from 3 to 6am, which they didnt let me sleep in the best way possible. Otherwise no complains at all. Loved everything. Would come again :)

Great location! We walked almost everywhere by foot. Felt like a safe neighbourhood. Everything was clean and all services were available. Most prettiest smoking room. Nice services in reception.

Before booking we didn't realise that our apartment's window will be facing inner yard (with glass roof) of the building. And because of that we didn't see outside almost not at all. And in the morning it was quite loud at times. But the yard was nice and pretty. Felt like sleeping in the train station at some moments. Aldo lighting at room was very romantic but dark. Had to use flashlight to see clothed and some other stuff.
