Ibis was significantly better-value than other budget hotels we have stayed at in Berlin. Staff were abundantly helpful. Everything was clean and functional. Check-in was quick and easy. We especially appreciate that we were allowed to leave our luggage in a secure storage facility for as long as we needed before check-in and after check-out, and that our room was ready earlier than planned. We have no major complaints.

- The location, albeit central, is quite uncomfortable. There is a super market and an Italian restaurant nearby, but that's it. For anything else, we had to walk to Alexanderplatz - which is a deceptively long walk, especially with the amount of time it takes for the traffic lights to turn green - or towards Friedrichshain. Most of the public transport goes through Alexanderplatz as well, so that walk can feel overwhelming. - Beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. - The shower room was inconveniently placed opposite a mirror. - Sockets were inconveniently placed far from the beds.

Location was superb, affordable safe parking (7,3 € a day under the hotel). Code system for the doors gave mobility as we were 5 people. We were well rested in the morning so good beds and not too much noise. Television actually worked, in many places it doesn't or only has 2 local chanels.

First comment would be for booking.com : you shouldn't offer 2 room combos that have breakfast for only 1 room, that caused a bit of confusion. I undersand it was my fault aswell for not double checking but it kind of is an odd thing to propose aswell. For the hotel: The breakfast was a bit minimalistic for my taste ( no warm dishes). In the toilet in the hotelroom, the metallic hatch in the celing made noise when the toiletdoor was opened or closed. That is a little annoying in the night if many people sleep in 1 room. This noise was in both of the rooms we booked so might be a good idea to check in other rooms aswell.

I had a wonderful stay at Ibis Budget Berlin! The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center and equally close to the train station. The tram stop is right across from the hotel, making transportation extremely convenient. The staff were very helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, and daily housekeeping was provided. I also appreciated that we could store our luggage safely and free of charge. On top of that, we were able to check in 3 hours early—although check-in is normally at 3 PM, they kindly allowed us to access our room at 11:30 AM.

If you're visiting Berlin for a short stay and want a well-priced, centrally located spot, this is a great choice. Most main attractions are within walking distance—just 10 minutes to Alexanderplatz, where you’ll find everything you need. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for a couple, perfect for a place to rest after a day out. The staff was very friendly, and we were even allowed to check in early. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

The door is locked at night, which we only discovered when returning late one evening. You need to enter your room code to unlock it, but ours didn’t work. Luckily, a staff member was nearby and let us in. Not a major issue, but good to be aware of.

The location of the hotel is very central, close to everything shops, restaurants, museums and a network of trams, buses, trains are available at Alexanderplatz station if you wish to travel to other areas of Berlin with ease. We got the train from Berlin Brandenburg Airport to Alexanderplatz in 25 minutes and then it was less than a ten minute walk we were at the hotel, I was very impressed! The hotel itself is basic but has everything you need and above all is extremely clean, the cleaning lady for us (rooms 125 & 127) was lovely and very helpful, thank you!

Pillow was a bit flat but that's a personal preference, my travel companions didn't have any issues. I requested an extra pillow from reception and I got two, very happy!

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel for 4 days and I would like to express my admiration for the services and the perfect location. From the moment I arrived at the hotel, the reception staff were fantastic. They were professional and friendly, making the check-in process smooth and comfortable. The rooms were very tidy and incredibly clean. Everything in the room, from the furniture to the bathroom, was in excellent condition and the attention to detail ensured a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, both in the room and in the hotel facilities, which greatly contributed to my comfort during my stay. The interaction with the reception staff was also outstanding. They were always ready to help and provide guidance, and they efficiently handled any inquiries or requests. What added to the experience was the hotel’s more than wonderful location. It is situated close to shopping and leisure areas, as well as restaurants and all the main attractions of the city, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the area. Overall, my experience at this hotel was excellent and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with excellent service in a strategic location. I will definitely return to stay here in the future.

pillows are not comfortable

The room felt well-kept and clean, recently renovated. The area is great for tourists looking to find themselves at Alexanderplatz, Museum Island, Reichstag and Tiergarten. There's a lot in the area to get to, and there are good transit options once you land at Alexanderplatz station. There's a vegan restaurant on the ground floor, outside that had great sushi. Overall had an amazing sleep here, it was very quiet and safe.

Keeping in mind this is a "budget" hotel, the immediate area is a bit lacking in liveliness and it's about 5-10 minutes walk to the U-bahn beside a busy highway (though there are streetcars almost right beside), and the linens were on the rougher side, though very clean and comfortable for sleeping.

city ​​center. a small room that is suitable for those who only plan to spend the night and walk around the city during the day. There is a large bed, a table, a chair, a towel, a TV, narrow full-length mirror, and there was also breakfast (buffet). the TV tower could be seen from the window. The room was cleaned. the staff is very friendly. next to the hotel, a very good transport interchange, cafes, pharmacies.

sometimes there was car noise from the street, but this is not the hotel's problem. there were not enough shampoos and hair dryers in the room (but you can ask for a hair dryer at the reception). the shower cabin had a curtain, not separated in the bathroom

The hotel is in a great location; only a ten-minute walk from Alexanderplatz and accessible by train, tram and bus. The room, and the hotel generally, were spotlessly clean and the room looked to be recently decorated or at least very well maintained. Breakfast was included in our rate and was perfect for us - fresh coffee and bread, cold meats and cheeses, salad and cereals - not the most fancy hotel breakfast but everything you need and it was decent quality. Because the place is such good value for money, it was very busy, especially during breakfast time however, as breakfast runs until 10.00 it was possible to find a table each day. In the room, the shower and sink are in the main area of the room and the shower door opens into the room, so keep that in mind if you are sharing as there is no private area once exiting the shower.
