Breakfast was great, with a variety of options. It's excellent to book a room with breakfast included. The room is okay, but the pillows are very thin. Even if I used the two pillows, it's still skinny. There is no everyday cleaning, but you can request it at the reception. The location is very convenient for any point in Berlin, as it's only a five-minute walk to the U-Bahn Alexanderplatz, and there are malls, shops and eateries around Alexanderplatz. All major attractions are nearby or within walking distance from the hotel. It's a few minutes walk to the Hop-on Hop-off Bus that will take you around Berlin. Numerous restaurants and cafes are located right next to the hotel.

Breakfast was good, rooms have available water and coffee.It is clean. I like that there is no housekiping every day because it is not needed anyway and that’s good for environment.

There was no umbrella available. The stuff was sometimes a bit unkind. Also, a few times at breakfast, when I left the table to grab some more food, the stuff would imediatelly cean the table. This is not only unconvinient for the guests, but also it’s a waste of food. It would be good to wait a bit with the cleaning, or to pay more attention to the guests, where they are moving etc..It was not even crowded in the restaurant when that happened.

This hotel is close to the train station, hop on hop off bus stop, with lots of cafes, shops and supermarkets close by. Room was comfortable and clean with a coffee machine and kettle. Bathroom was great with a good strong shower and beds were very comfortable. Also very quiet considering it’s a large hotel. Great if you’re looking for a no frills practical hotel. I felt safe walking around here as a solo female traveller.

Staff on check could not have cared less or been more disinterested. They do not clean rooms everyday which is perfectly fine, but you need to tell them before 10am if you want your room done. This was not passed on to me at checkin, so room was not done for 3 days. They will bring towels if you call reception for them. There is no fridge, no where to keep drinks cold or milk if you to make a coffee with the machine provided. This hotel could do with a bit more customer service or friendlier staff.

The room was fabulous. It was designed very nicely and practically. It was very clean. We ordered a suite so the bathroom had two sinks, and it was very well equipped. The staff, including the cleaners, the restaurant staff, and the personnel at the reception, were very kind and patient, and all of them gave us a wonderful service. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Alexanderplatz. This means that the hotel is close to the shops, restaurants, and transportation to all of Berlin. I will try to stay at the H4 hotel again on my next visit to Berlin.

As a vegetarian, I would have liked the breakfast more if it had more cheese and not just meat.

Location is just perfect . You have all means of transportation at your feet. However it is also easy to walk if you like to most famous sites of Berlin Center. Breakfast is an experience with everything a travelerer would want

Although we asked for a double bed two months by the time of booking we never had this option and slept in single beds put together. Most of the times we get an upgrade offer for a small amount of money. Although the room and the whole areas were extremely clean, the carpets in the corridors of the first floor where warn and with stains and gave a wrong impression

I was surprised to find that I had actually booked a suite and not a normal room but not disappointed when we saw the room - lovely. Extremely comfortable. Found also that if you book a suite you have access to the executive board room with coffee and snacks available all day. Big bonus for us. Breakfast was as usual first class. Special mention for Manuela, from the breakfast staff who remembered us and welcomed us back even though it was nearly two years since we had been there. Excellent customer relations.

We were not informed about access to the executive board room when we checked in. It was only in conversation later that we were told about it. We might have stayed the four days and not known about the extra privilege of having booked a suite.

Exceptionally clean, well run modern hotel in a great location with friendly accommodating staff. What more could you ask for. For comfortable beds and if I could find out the make of the pillows I would buy some for my own bed. Marvellous and so reasonably priced considering it's central location.

There are no criticisms but I was a little disappointed that there were no sausages for breakfast, which seemed unusual considering I was in, what I thought, was the home of sausages in Europe.

Great location, especially for tram and train and you could walk to a lot of places easily too. Hotel was quiet and we weren’t disturbed by other residents. It was handy to be able to store luggage before and after checkout. We were also fortunate to be given our room early too as it was ready. Didn’t use any facilities so can’t comment on them.

Cleaning staff weren’t particularly friendly and neither was the lady at Reception on arrival although i put this down to language barrier. In contrast the man who dealt with our luggage when we checked out was exceptional.

The hotel's lovation is perfect/ Just by Alexanderplatz, close to all public transportation. The hotel is nice, clean and comfy. The rooms are spacious and inviting, offering all that is needed for 3-4 days. There are no closets to store close but we managed with our luggage and a desk. Breakfast is one of the best i had in a hotel. Lots of various options to choose from, and all was extra fresh, well made. We needed a gluten free option, and the hotel gave us each morning fresh baked buns which was amazing.

We had a problem with the toilet flush. The hotel sent a handyman to fix it, but during the night it stopped working again and we had to change rooms early morning... The problem wasn't fixed prefectly, but the hotel gave a fast and effective solution. After switching rooms, all was prefect.
