I often use Lux11 for business trips to Berlin. It is good value for money and has not a lot of downsides. The location is superb if you are moving around the Center of Berlin, the rooms are fine, but nothing too special. Overall a good experience and I will continue using Lux11 when in Berlin.

The whole Check-In process is now completely automated (you check-In yourself over a check-in counter) and although quite efficient and easy, sometimes feels a bit impersonal, especially being sent to self check-in after presenting at the reception, but that's how it is. Otherwise, however, the hotel is good and the staff is friendly. For the price you pay here, you do get good value, so I will be back!

The lighting in the shower,sink area could possibly be a little brighter

The location is perfect for walking to main Berlin sights and travelling by train. Shower had tons of water and pressure! Curtains blocked out light well so sleeping was great! Desk staff were great with English and they helped us get ice too. There a laundry room in the basement that works great! 2 washing machines so you wait your turn. I would stay again!

The kitchenette was not equipped to make meals: there was only cutlery so we had to go buy wooden spoon to make dinner in pan. No dishwasher so a single cocktail sink was difficult to clean up. There is no toaster. I ended up charged 160€ extra for air conditioning because of an AI feature so make sure that you always contact the hotel by chat FIRST if you have questions about a room. They answer pretty fast. Was disappointed no one from hotel spoke to me about this. All the rooms are air conditioned despite other impressions from postings.

Excellent bedroom, very comfortable bed and well fitted kitchenette. For us wasn't a problem, but in order to use the toilet during the night, you will need to use the key card by the door to turn the lights on, which might be disruptive to your sleep. Besides that, everything was top notch!

Room is very centrally located, close to shops, bars, theatres etc. right in the heart of the city centre. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

30 euro charge for early check in - we were so exhausted as left our home at 4am that day and would have paid any amount to get in to the room as quick as we could.

Great location for seeing many of the major sights. Spacious suite with excellent amenities and view of TV Tower. Restaurant and cafe bar on site with good choice of reasonably priced dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The self check in was great, made things quick and hassle free. I had to contact the hotel prior to arrival and they responded quick. The location was excellent, the local train station was well connected and there was lots to see and do within walking distance and lovely bars and restaurants near by. Size of the room was excellent. Staff were very friendly and the coffee shop attached to the hotel was lovely. The Nespresso machine, hair dryer and flip flops in the room were appreciated.

I didn't appreciate the hotel contacting me asking for card details prior to check in when I had booked through booking.com. The room didn't have usb plugs which was surprising and the pillows weren't the best.

The room was very spacious, despite being one of the smallest according to the fire escape plan. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, the linen very clean and good quality, and the kitchenette (with kettle, coffee filter machine, microwave, induction rings and full sized fridge) is a really useful feature and the main reason for me choosing this hotel in the first place. There is a large 'Kaufland' supermarket a short walk away and lots of cheap and cheerful eateries nearby. I only had a coffee in the on-site café but it was pleasant. I didn't use the laundry room but did take a quick look - it seemed excellent.

I found the check-in via an unstaffed desk/tablet very impersonal and wasn't sure if there was anyone around to help me if I needed assistance. I'm not sure if any staff were on site overnight. The 24 hour access via keycard was convenient but not terribly secure at night; anyone could have walked in behind a guest. The kitchenette wasn't very well stocked - only 2 coffee filters and one bag of coffee and a couple of tea bags, no mugs or bowls, though the staff in the ground floor café were happy to supply a mug and a bowl when I asked for them.

Check in on line - we arrived on a very early flight and for a very reasonable cost of E25 we were able to check in very early, just after 10am rather than having to wait until 4pm. All staff exceptional. Room very spacious and very quiet. WE like the idea that if you wanted your room serviced every 2nd day you put a sign on your door or if you wanted more towels there was utility room downstairs to self access. Its super central. Nice little kitchenette area and dressing area. We would definitely stay again next time in Berlin. Plenty of nice little cafes and bars close by and train station from the airport an easy 6 min walk...as is the closest U bahn.

Loved it all. Only one thing to consider for those friends staying together shower opens into the room. There is no separate room for it. For us it was not a problem and we loved the layout and big shower....
