I often use Lux11 for business trips to Berlin. It is good value for money and has not a lot of downsides. The location is superb if you are moving around the Center of Berlin, the rooms are fine, but nothing too special. Overall a good experience and I will continue using Lux11 when in Berlin.

The whole Check-In process is now completely automated (you check-In yourself over a check-in counter) and although quite efficient and easy, sometimes feels a bit impersonal, especially being sent to self check-in after presenting at the reception, but that's how it is. Otherwise, however, the hotel is good and the staff is friendly. For the price you pay here, you do get good value, so I will be back!

The lighting in the shower,sink area could possibly be a little brighter

The location is perfect for walking to main Berlin sights and travelling by train. Shower had tons of water and pressure! Curtains blocked out light well so sleeping was great! Desk staff were great with English and they helped us get ice too. There a laundry room in the basement that works great! 2 washing machines so you wait your turn. I would stay again!

The kitchenette was not equipped to make meals: there was only cutlery so we had to go buy wooden spoon to make dinner in pan. No dishwasher so a single cocktail sink was difficult to clean up. There is no toaster. I ended up charged 160€ extra for air conditioning because of an AI feature so make sure that you always contact the hotel by chat FIRST if you have questions about a room. They answer pretty fast. Was disappointed no one from hotel spoke to me about this. All the rooms are air conditioned despite other impressions from postings.

Excellent bedroom, very comfortable bed and well fitted kitchenette. For us wasn't a problem, but in order to use the toilet during the night, you will need to use the key card by the door to turn the lights on, which might be disruptive to your sleep. Besides that, everything was top notch!

Room is very centrally located, close to shops, bars, theatres etc. right in the heart of the city centre. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

30 euro charge for early check in - we were so exhausted as left our home at 4am that day and would have paid any amount to get in to the room as quick as we could.

Great location for seeing many of the major sights. Spacious suite with excellent amenities and view of TV Tower. Restaurant and cafe bar on site with good choice of reasonably priced dishes. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Check in on line - we arrived on a very early flight and for a very reasonable cost of E25 we were able to check in very early, just after 10am rather than having to wait until 4pm. All staff exceptional. Room very spacious and very quiet. WE like the idea that if you wanted your room serviced every 2nd day you put a sign on your door or if you wanted more towels there was utility room downstairs to self access. Its super central. Nice little kitchenette area and dressing area. We would definitely stay again next time in Berlin. Plenty of nice little cafes and bars close by and train station from the airport an easy 6 min walk...as is the closest U bahn.

Loved it all. Only one thing to consider for those friends staying together shower opens into the room. There is no separate room for it. For us it was not a problem and we loved the layout and big shower....

Best location in the city right next to Alexanderplatz, with millions of cute stores and restaurants and well connected to the rest of the city, but still a rather quiet microlocation so no heavy traffic in front of your window. Very interesting layout, tall ceilings, good looking and well equipped rooms. I love how they handled the shower area in our room (you have to climb to it; it is separated by glass wall and a mirror), definitely appropriate for couples only. Beds were comfy and thank god, with double pillows. Hallway area looks slightly run down but it kind of only adds to the overall 'old building in the center' vibe. The rooms were very tidy, well designed and high-end for sure. I'd love to stay here again.

The accommodation is modern, functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing. It is in a great, very central location. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated the privacy and convenience provided by the self-check-in and self-check-out processes. Based on my stay, the value for money has been excellent and this is the main reason for my high rating.

The kitchen did not have everything needed for cooking. For example, there should be a small convection oven, a frying pan, a colander, olive oil, and salt. I know this would not be easy to manage and would increase the costs a little bit, but the apartment is not very different from a room without. The windows are well insulated from outside noise, but there was some slight noise from inside, perhaps due to the air extraction systems in the rooms running longer than necessary. The lighting in the room was a bit dim although it was not a problem for me. I'm fine with the room service policy but I find it ridiculous and annoying that it's said that this is done for environmental reasons when it's clearly a cost-saving exercise.
