The hotel is in a great location, with a short walk to the Hackescher Markt S-bahn and other transportation options. Self-check in was very easy and our room was a very good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good and there was enough to choose from. We would be happy to stay there again.

Nothing really but the glass shower door did not open fully as the toilet was in the way - this may not be the case for every bathroom depending on the room allocated. There was also water leakage onto the bathroom floor from the shower but this was only a minor issue.

We loved our stay! The hotel is about 3 minutes walk to S-Bahn and about 10 minutes walk to Alexanderplatz. Plenty of cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Even if it's located in the very centre of Berlin, the street is quiet all day. Hotel room exceeded our expectations, it was spacious, beds were comfy, had enough space in the cabinet, and other handful stuff (kettle, coffee maker, iron, hairdryer, enough towels...), bathroom was large and spotless, as the rest of the hotel. We also liked the self check-in/out and the possibility of leaving our luggage in a locker (for free). And I must mention the lovely staff, both present at the hotel for breakfast service and online, who were very nice to us and helped me recover my forgotten item. Thank you for having us and I'll be back!

The hotel location has many dining options, as well as shops. There is an important train and tram stop nearby. It is also possible to walk to Alexanderplatz in about 5 minutes. You can reach the Brandenburg Gate on foot in half an hour along the riverbank.

There is no hotel staff (except for the serving lady at breakfast). However, one can generally manage. Problems may arise in emergency situations, for example, if a suitcase gets lost on a flight and it is brought to the hotel, but there is no one at the reception to receive it.

The location is fantastic. It is clean, though we had some ants in the room, nothing major, nature happens. The breakfast was very good. Staff was kind and helpful the view from the room was beautiful.

The room was extremely small. If you are not doing more than sleeping, I guess it is ok. Be aware that there is no fridge in the smallest rooms, so if you ara planning on buying beverages or need to keep something cool (I have a medication that has to be refrigerated at all times) this is not the room.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from a staff free hotel, but I was genuinely impressed by how seamless everything was. Check in, access, and even luggage storage were all very straightforward. The place was clean and comfortable. I appreciate the little touches like free water and fresh fruit available in the check in area. And the location couldn’t be better, right in the centre, yet quiet, even on weekends.

I can't think of anything except that the view could have been better. It's not a deal breaker though

We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights during the hottest days in July, so we really appreciated the AC. We loved coming back to a cool room. The shower was okay; the water pressure was quite nice, and it provided basic amenities. We loved the bed; it's quite firm, just the way we like it. The location is wonderful—very close to stores, our favourite cafes, and restaurants—so we explored everything on foot most of the time. The check-in process was also really simple; we checked in online one day before our arrival, and everything else went smoothly. It's an unmanned hotel, but when we arrived there was a friendly employee who greeted us and explained a few things to us. Overall, it's a no-fuss hotel in a really wonderful area of Berlin. We will definitely be coming back.

The shower in our room had gaps in the shower door and the wall, so water kept leaking outside the shower area when we used it, but we just had to be mindful about it. And would love a small fridge in the room.

Great location, metro station, shops, bars, restaurants are right next to the hotel. City historical attractions are 20 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good, small selection of food for every type of breakfast. You get glass bottle in your room and in the lobby you fill it up with still or sparkling water. Room was clean, bathroom was also clean and just the right size. In the lobby you can find lockers for your things, so you can leave them if you arrive earlier or if you are leaving later than your check out. Great hotel for short stays.

we enjoyed the room, the location. It was a decent breakfast as well. In general the concept of a staff less hotel appeared to be very nice, less hustle upon check-in, check out. Until there's smth missing or in need to be fixed (see our safebox story)

Our safebox was not working, needed battery replaced. We had asked for the replacement immediately (had to go to the hotel around the corner as there was already noone at ours, although it was about 4PM only), called them to remind of the request. The safebox was never fixed over the 3 days stay.

The rooms are well-designed with a good and subtle interior. The air-condition was great during hot summer days. Access to the facility was easy with a 24h door system for check in and out. The lockers in the reception for storing luggage after check out are very useful. All in all, this is a nice hotel with a perfect central location.

It feels a bit alienating to not have staff at the reception, as checking to the hotel is fully automated. However, help is available via phone and staff maintaining the property.

Nice to be able to handle everything with check in and out yourself, and still be able to eat breakfast at the hotel.

The buffet at breakfast was not extensive, and was not being filled up that much. So cheese was limited, and the apple juice I had to tip the container to get some every day. The pillows were simply too high! I was cranking my neck almost no matter what I did. So slept without a pillow some nights.
