The apartment itself was great-in a quiet courtyard, very clean, everything updated.

Couple of issues: It wasn’t really mentioned in the listing that you have to carry your luggage up 4 narrow and steep flights of stairs to get inside the apt. Also, I had requested early check in and the person I talked to (who was not very polite) said that we could get in at 1:15, yet when I called them back they said I had to wait til 3:00. They were not friendly on the phone. When we finally got the door code, it was a bit difficult to figure out which building to go in. There were no further instructions given. It was raining hard and we were pulling our luggage around the courtyard trying to find our building. Not ideal.

We loved the location of this apartment, it had great transport links with the tram and U-bahn, 1 min walk away. It has fantastic places to eat right on the street. Although you're in the mix of everything, the apartments are through the building and overlook trees and a courtyard, so it's quiet. Our apartment was huge, with plenty of space to spread out, we travelled with 2 kids, so this place was perfect The check-in info is sent out with quite a few codes. It is all very professional and well done, but remember to screenshot the codes. We loved our time in Berlin and in part due to this apartment where we felt right at home.

It had a squeaky floor between the building and the TV, it didn't bother us, but we're conscious if we were disturbing anyone on the lower floor.

Love the location, close to all the best areas of Berlin. Comfortable beds and lovely to have a balcony in the heat. Staff very friendly, arranged two good fans for us which was great during warm days. This was our second time in Limehouse Schoenhouse, would stay again.

Lots of stairs... hallway looks a bit tired. No a/c. But none of this was a surprise, we were well informed. The second bedroom is very small for two persons. Not ideal to shower in a bath tub without curtain, floor gets very wet.

The property was in a fantastic location in Berlin, close to grocery stores, bars and restaurants. The property was also large and comfortable fit all 5 of us.

Unfortunately we had 2 issues with the property. Firstly, one of the bathrooms would get water stuck in the drain causing a horrible smell, however, this got resolved after someone came and fixed the issue. The second more major issue is that we were only able to have 1 hot shower a day. For 5 people staying there this meant that 4 people each day had cold showers. Limehouse was kind enough to refund us a portion of the amount we paid for the stay to compensate us for this, however, it certainly needs to be fixed for future groups that are wanting to stay at the property.

Rooms were clean, size was suitable, the communication with the hosts before arrival went smooth, good location and facilities around, well working WiFi.

The inner yard was noisy all night long, would appreciate more towels, the instructions and code arrived one hour before check-in time (I am a planner, need to know before departure).

The accommodation worked fine for our purpose despite a maintenance problem that happened in the bathroom but it was promptly contained. Very confortable and well equiped room located few minutes to tran/ metro stations and few minutes walking to Alexanderplatz and Berlin wall. Check in and check out information very accurate and the communication exchanged with host staff was done at high standards of professionalism.

The location is incredible - a very short walk from the best shopping street in Berlin and there is a big supermarket a 2 minute walk from the apartment. The flat itself is lovely, bright, spacious, well kept, the interior decor is tasteful and modern. The building is nice with a courtyard and there is a lift. Toilets are equipped with a hair dryer, towels, soap, shampoo, shower gel and we even received toothbrushes and tooth paste. The kitchen has coffee, tea, cutlery and crockery. Check in with the code was super efficient as we landed late at night. I would recommend this apartment to any friend visiting Berlin, and I would 100% visit again!

No faults

I enjoyed the meticulous attention to detail, from the delightful Haribo gummy bears to the thoughtful provision of a to-go cup of coffee, toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as earplugs and a diverse selection of coffee and tea. The close proximity to both the metro station and Alexanderplatz was incredibly convenient. Additionally, having a non-stop store downstairs and a pub across the street further enhanced the overall positive experience.

Fortunately, we didn't encounter any significant inconveniences during our stay, and even though the drains seemed clogged at one point, we were able to address and resolve the issue ourselves.

Great location in an excellent area, close to a range of U-Bahn stations. Instructions for entry were clear. The apartment had a nice feeling and was very comfortable. A little more than a hotel room, a little less than a full apartment.

Shower head and taps need a bit of repair work, but bathroom overall was very nice. A few missing bits and pieces like batteries for the TV remote and a kitchen tea towel for drying dishes, but these are minor niggles. Also quite steep stairs to get to the third floor, but overall a very pleasant stay.

Spacious apartment, modern facilities, clean. Don't need to deal with anyone, just arrive and use the codes to open the doors, very 'no-contact' which we liked. Very central location, able to walk to most locations. Also close to the metro lines.

We were given 2 small blankets instead of one big blanket for the bed, a bit awkward. There is a metro line directly under the apartment, you will hear the train going by every 5-10 min. Isn't extremely loud, but noticeable. Fine for a few nights.
