My experience at Selina was good. Its prime city-center location made exploring the city a breeze, and the rooms were comfortable, ensuring a delightful stay. I highly recommend it for both its unbeatable location and cozy accommodations! The staff is super friendly!

While my overall stay was decent, I have to note a slight downside – the breakfast lacked variety. It wasn't as diverse as I had hoped, which was a bit disappointing. However, the rest of the experience was good.

* Rooms on the 6th floor under the bar are EXTREMELY NOISY on Friday and Saturday nights. Guests should be warned of this if they're given these rooms. Staff was very helpful in moving me to another room for the second weekend, though. * It would be nice to have plain sheets in addition to the comforter. I know this is a German thing, but I don't understand how to be comfortable on hot days. * Since there is no air conditioning (normal in Germany), there should at least be a fan supplied in the room.

Facilities were really good; I stayed in the 8-bed hostel room and the bunk beds had a curtain to pull closed over your bed with a light, USB & wall plugs, and a little shelf and closeable storage inside. The communal kitchen was also excellent - hobs, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge & freezer. Free towels! And after we checked out the reception staff were happy to keep our bags for a few hours longer so that we could walk around a bit longer without all our stuff. We didn't ever actually lock our storage boxes - just put stuff on our bed and closed the curtain - and nothing was moved or stolen ever. We made friends on the first night through the welcome drinks and went to an art gallery & dinner with them!

The shower did leak into the room and corridor one day and the reception staff did seem upset at us, even though I hadn't noticed as I was in bed. The wifi also didn't work at all one night, but when I disconnected and reconnected the next morning it was fine. The doors occasionally didn't unlock even though they said 'unlock', but after 2 or 3 tries it always worked. I didn't expect the communal area to be right by the door & reception, it made it more of a waiting area than a communal area, but the kitchen was actually very sociable & everyone was happy to chat.

The hotel has a very good location. There are nice restaurants and stores nearby. Alexanderplatz is in walking distance, but the subway station and tram stop are also very near. It was very easy to check-in and check-out with their automated system. The room was clean, comfortable, with a nice view of the TV tower.

One of the two elevators did not work, so sometimes I had to wait a lot for the only functioning elevator. When I was leaving, all the luggage storage lockers were occupied, so I could not leave my bags there, I had to carry them to another location where I paid over 10 euros. This was rather inconvenient.

Beautiful stylish interior, warm room, very comfortable bed, nice view from the courtyard facing balcony (which in itself was great, if only not as relevant in colder seasons). I had no problem with there not being a reception, and communicated with the staff via Whatsapp. I absolutely intend to stay at Numa again!

Nothing I didn't like, just a suggestion, because you want a property like that to be just perfect! Loved the umbrella renting service, maybe do the same thing with charges/cables? The usb outlet on a socket in my room didn't work and despite the staff promising they'd send someone over, nobody fixed it or got back to me.

Super clean, the room is so good as if you are in 5 stars hotel, the free mini-bar was fascinating, the location was superb and less than 5 mins to the metro station

The room I checked-in had no fridge and when I asked the team there about this they regretted and told me that as apologize they will give me another upgraded room on the next day, BUT when I called them on next day to have my new room they told me that they can’t get me the upgraded room and I asked to give me another room with a fridge or bring fridge to where I was. At last, I spent around many hours in negotiations on my 2days trip to change my room

I had a great experience staying at this property in Berlin! The location was excellent—clean, quiet, and close to everything I wanted to see and do. The space itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly as described. It was a pleasant and peaceful environment, which made my stay truly enjoyable. Everything worked perfectly, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend!

While there aren’t really any negative points to mention, I do want to note that the entire check-in process was electronic. Personally, I’m not a big fan of electronic procedures, as handling codes and digital instructions while traveling can sometimes feel less friendly or convenient. That said, it wasn’t difficult to navigate, and everything worked smoothly in the end. Overall, I can’t complain—it was a great stay!

The location of the property in my opinion is excellent. Besides that it is located in center of Berlin, there are many bars, restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. There are AC in the rooms for summer time and good heating for winter time. The hotel was very clean. The cleaning staff is very friendly.

The only problem was the door that was located right in front of the elevators on the 5th floor (it is where I stayed last time, don’t know about the other floors). The dood was closed very loudly, which was annoying and interrupting during the night.

The room was rented for a family of 3 people.The room is clean, comfortable beds, snow-white bed, snow-white towels.There was a small kitchen with the necessary cooking utensils.In the bathroom,shampoo,conditioner,shower gel,soap,hand lotion,hair dryer,everything you need. Convenient location, within walking distance to many attractions.

Since this is the central area, it was a bit noisy here.But the staff took care of that, too, by providing us with earplugs.

Location is great. Busy neighbourhood full of locals in coffee shops and the like, but with a U Bahn on the door step to travel elsewhere. Hostel was immaculately clean, breakfasts were some of the best we've had in hostels. Plenty of choice including things like shakshuka or smoked salmon, as well as the typicalitems. (Private) room was a good size, WiFi always worked. The main gentleman working breakfasts was especially good. We'd read reviews about poor lighting in rooms and we think this has been fixed as it was no issue and i can struggle with sight in low light. We'd also read reviews about the loud Dj on the rooftop so came prepared with earplugs... but didn't need them as it wasn't overly loud. Plus management now offer earplugs if people want them.

The odd staff members were disappointing, but they were in the minority. When the main gentleman who ran breakfasts was on his day off, the service was painful. Mid-way through breakfasts hours a guest pipped me to the post to ask for more coffee to be brewed. The lady proceded to become distracted, and 5 minutes later, I had to ask for more. There was also someone working the front desk who is under the impression the S Bahn to the airport is the same as the quicker train service - as a visitor even I know this isn't the case. I must stress these were minority cases. It's not the easiest hostel to meet other travellers as there's a lot of couples, families or people who look to be on business but we did meet others and socialised out in the city with them.
