Big spacious Apartment in an old very nice building close to a very good bar, Restaurants, bakery, underground Station, very friendly and helpful staff, parking in a separate building ( height 2,10 m), comfy beds, soundproof, we really enjoyed our stay

Location, mostly quiet, facing courtyard and not the street, pillows were not overstuffed like so many hotels, control over heat.

An improvement would be addition safety latch on both doors that would prevent anyone from entering. This would be similar to what hotels have. As it is any hotel staff can enter with the house master key.

Well positioned in the popular Mitte District, it was conveniently located asa base for visiting Berlin's tourist hot spots, with abundant restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. the apartment was well maintained, kept very clean, was well stocked, had excellent facilities and e were welcomed on arrival by very pleasant receptionists - it was perfect for our needs

Noisy at night. Room was positioned at the front of there building and overlooking the main street. Therefore the street noise was very disturbing with revellers and street traffic (eg the M1 Tram runs outside the building) disturbing our sleep well into the early hours

It is such a beautiful room. In fact the whole building from the gorgeous door to the entrance chandelier and lovely welcoming court yard was devine. Our room was gorgeous and i loved soaking in the lovely clawfoot bath and the rain shower was perfection after a long day of exploring. The staff were exceptional and our desk operator took us to our room, showed us how everything worked and then asked us what was important for us to see and then sent us a whole list of things to do. Also love the location! Close to things and a really funky/vibrant area with beautiful restaurants and a lovely bakery literally at your doorstep.

I think my only issue was that while our bedroom had blackout blinds there was no privacy ones where you could still enjoy the view during the day without others seeing inside your room.

The apartment is really lovely, super cute with charming interior, big and comfy bed, equipped with everything you need for a short stay. I liked that there was body lotion and as well slippers and bath robes provided and there were even real plants in the room which was such a nice touch. Our apartment was courtyard facing and so it was really quiet during the night and also during the day really. The staff were very nice and polite and I would definitely be back! Location was perfect too, metro station is a 2 min walk away and there is plenty of shops and restaurants right around the corner. Great value for money!

I wished the duvet had been a bit thicker. But that’s just a personal preference.

Stylish compact apartment. Well equipped. Clean. Lots of natural light. Well situated for transport, shopping and restaurants.

If you are sensitive to night noise, rather request an interior courtyard apartment. The roadside apartments are on a busy street with a tramline as well as a bar with a small group of late nightly party people whom tend to leave around 4am.

Very clean, comfortable, quiet and modern apartment within walking distance from public transport and a lot of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Super efficient reception who go out of their way to meet your every need. I got extended stay and late check out.

There’s no bathroom door and the lighting is poor.

Gorki has an amazing location. So many cafes, bars and restaurants right outside the door, and they were all excellent. Public transportation was just a few steps away. I would stay again and again at this wonderful hotel.

As much as this is being picky, my wife and I did not like the pillows on the bed.

The staff was very helpful and prompt when asked for something. The suite of rooms was elegant, spotless, and perfectly located in young, energetic East Berlin. Breakfast cafe across ther street -excellent! Would love a repeat visit.

The mood lighting was stunning, but we felt impractical. There are times on a trip when you need light to work.
